This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It says what you may not do with Bold Agent Kit. The short version: the agent sends messages and places calls in your name, so every rule that applies to you sending them yourself applies to the agent. We wrote the product to make the rules easy to keep, and we will suspend accounts that break them.
1. Consent and contact
- Only contact people you have the right to contact, on that channel, under the law where you and they are. That includes marketing consent rules such as the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, the GDPR, PECR and CASL, and telemarketing rules such as do-not-call registries.
- Honour every opt-out, unsubscribe, STOP and do-not-contact request. The Service enforces them across channels automatically; do not work around it, re-import suppressed contacts, or contact someone from a different agent after they opted out of one.
- Do not send to purchased, scraped or harvested lists of people who have not agreed to hear from you. The Chrome extension extracts contact details from web pages; using them is subject to the same consent rules as any other list.
- Respect the sending windows and rate limits the Service provides, and set them to what the law where you operate requires.
2. Honesty
- Do not impersonate a person, a business or an authority. Use a real sender name and a real reply address.
- Do not configure an agent to deny being automated when asked directly, where the law requires disclosure, and do not use a cloned voice of a person without their permission.
- Do not make claims, offers or promises in the knowledge base or instructions that are false or that you cannot honour.
- Do not use the Service for phishing, credential harvesting, fraud, or to obtain payment details or personal data by deception.
3. Collections and regulated messaging
- If you use an agent to chase money, you are responsible for complying with collections law where you operate, such as the FDCPA and Regulation F in the United States, including contact frequency, hours, disclosures and disputes.
- Do not threaten, harass or intimidate. Do not contact people at work if they have asked you not to, or contact third parties about someone’s debt.
- Regulated sectors (financial services, healthcare, legal, political messaging) carry their own rules on what may be said and stored; you are responsible for them.
4. Content
- No content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that promotes violence or self-harm.
- No malware, and no links to it.
- No content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or privacy.
- Do not configure an agent to collect special-category data (health, biometrics, religion, sexual orientation, and the like) or payment card numbers in conversation.
5. The platform and other people’s platforms
- Comply with the terms of every provider and platform you connect: your mailbox provider, carrier, telephony provider, each social platform, your calendar and CRM. If a platform forbids a kind of automation, that kind is forbidden here too.
- Do not use the Service to send volumes or patterns that damage the reputation of shared infrastructure, and do not disable or evade the warm-up, health scoring, caps and auto-rest features to do so.
- Do not probe, scan or test the Service for vulnerabilities without written permission, interfere with other customers, or attempt to access data that is not yours.
- Do not resell access to the Service other than by building agents for clients and inviting them into their own agent, as the Terms describe.
6. The forum
- Be civil. No harassment, no spam, no unsolicited promotion of unrelated products, and no posting of other people’s personal data.
- Do not share another member’s content outside the forum without their permission.
7. Enforcement
We may suspend an agent, a campaign or an account that breaks this policy, with notice where it is reasonable to give it. We may remove content and, where the law requires, report it. Repeated or serious breaches end the account. If you think a suspension is a mistake, email support@boldagents.co and a person will look at it.
8. Reporting abuse
If you have received a message from an agent on this platform that you believe breaks this policy, email support@boldagents.co with the message and the sender. We will investigate and act.
