AI agents for law firms
that take the intake call.

AI agents for law firms that pick up the phone, the website chat, the email and the DM the moment an enquiry arrives, ask the intake questions you wrote, answer what you allowed them to answer about practice areas, fees and the office, and book the consultation into your calendar. Anything that needs a lawyer goes to a lawyer, with the whole conversation attached.

7-day free trial · Cancel anytime

Every channel wired into one agent and out to the tools behind it: email, SMS, phone, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Slack, Discord, X, Reddit, Bluesky, website chat, campaign sequences and follow-ups on one side; HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, HubSpot Meetings, Zoho Bookings, Acuity Scheduling, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace on the other.

The phone is answered on the first ring, at any hour

A call to your intake line is answered on your own Twilio number, in real time, by an agent that speaks from the script you saved. It asks the caller what the matter concerns, where they are, how urgent it is, and whatever else you wrote into its intake instructions, and it answers questions about the practice areas you take, how you charge for a first meeting and where the office is, from the material you gave it. It does not give legal advice, because it is configured not to; when a caller asks whether they have a case, it says a lawyer will call them and takes the details.

Every call is transcribed and recorded, and the transcript lands in the inbox against the caller's record with the channel tagged. If the caller wants a consultation, the agent offers real open slots from the calendar and books the one they choose. Answering and dialling are separate switches, so an intake agent can pick up every incoming call without ever placing one.

The Inbox as one list: web chat, texts and calls together, a call marked no answer, a completed call that booked a roof inspection, texts confirming a Thursday appointment and asking the price, each row tagged with the channel it arrived on.

The visitor who would never have phoned gets an answer

One line of script puts a chat widget on your site in your colour, with your image and a greeting you wrote. A visitor at 10pm asking "do you take employment cases?" or "what does a first consultation cost?" is answered from your own pages, your Q&A pairs and your fee data points, and then asked the same intake questions the phone agent asks. It requests an email address when the conversation is worth keeping, and that address ties the visitor to any call or email they send later.

The agent links only to pages of your own site you allowed, so it sends people to your practice-area page or your consultation page and nowhere else. A person can take the thread over from the inbox at any moment, and the agent stands down until the thread is handed back.

A website chat conversation in the Inbox: the visitor asks how much it is, the agent answers with the price and a link, the visitor's story is drawn across the top, and a reply box lets a person take the thread over.

The same intake, on every channel a client writes to

Connect the intake@ mailbox with an app password, or any other mailbox as SMTP and IMAP, and the agent reads what arrives and replies from the address it was sent to. Connect Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp and the other eight DM platforms with your own app credentials and the same agent answers there, inside each platform's reply window, with the same instructions and the same knowledge base.

Because every handle a person uses is attached to one contact record, a prospect who messages on Instagram on Tuesday and emails on Thursday is one person with one history, and the agent reads that history before it replies. Nobody is asked the intake questions twice.

The agent's Social tab: Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X as a grid of platform cards, each connected with your own app credentials.

A record the supervising lawyer can actually read

Every call transcript, chat, email and DM is stored against the person it belongs to, in order, with timestamps, and every reply the agent wrote is stored alongside the material it was generated from. When a partner wants to know what a prospective client was told about fees, the thread is there, and so is the Q&A pair or the page it came from.

The dashboard counts people, not messages: how many enquiries the agent reached, how many replied, how many went on to visit your site, and how many booked a consultation, broken down by channel and by agent. Set a goal with a dollar value on a booked consultation and the funnel reports what each channel is producing.

The Bold Agent Kit dashboard: 157 people reached, 89 replied, 59 visited the site, 9 converted and $4,050 of value won over the last 30 days, with a breakdown by channel and by agent, and recent journeys underneath.

AI agents for law firms do the intake, and leave the law to the lawyers

A law firm does not lose clients on the quality of its work. It loses them in the forty minutes between an enquiry arriving and somebody being free to answer it. The call comes in while everyone is in court or in a meeting that cannot be interrupted. The web form is read on Monday. The Instagram message is seen by nobody. The person on the other end has a problem that feels urgent to them, and by the time a paralegal is free, they have spoken to another firm that picked up. AI agents for law firms exist to make sure the first conversation happens the moment the enquiry does.

Bold Agent Kit gives you one agent that takes intake on every channel a client might use: the phone, through your own Twilio number, in real time; the chat widget on your website; the intake mailbox; text messages on your own number; and the DMs on eleven social platforms. You write the intake once: the questions it asks, in the order you want them, the practice areas it may say you take, the fee structure and the office details it may quote, and the exact situations in which it must stop and hand the conversation to a person. Then it runs that intake the same way on every enquiry, at 2pm and at 2am, and books the consultation into your calendar when the caller is ready.

It is an intake agent, not a lawyer, and it is built to stay one. It does not give legal advice and it is configured not to: when a caller asks whether they have a claim, what the limitation period is, or what they should do next, the agent says that a lawyer will answer that and takes the details needed for the lawyer to call. What it does say is drawn only from the material you gave it, your documents, your Q&A pairs, your data points and the pages of your own site you allowed, and every reply is stored beside its source. The firm decides what may be said. Confidentiality, and your bar or regulator's rules on client communication and advertising, remain the firm's responsibility, exactly as they would with a receptionist or an answering service.

The enquiries that do not book are not forgotten. A prospect who asked about a matter and went quiet is followed up by text and email on a schedule you wrote, inside the hours you set, until they book, reply or ask it to stop. One reply per thread, a daily cap per sender, a one-click unsubscribe on every email, and an opt-out on any channel that stops every channel. All of it is $25 a month for the whole firm, with unlimited agents, so a second office or a second practice area is another agent and not another bill.

Every word keptTranscripts, recordings, chats and emails against one record per person, with the source of every reply.

The enquiry was genuine. The firm never spoke to it.

A prospective client with a real matter contacts the firm and hears nothing. Four things get in the way, and none of them is the quality of the lawyers.

01

The call goes to voicemail while everyone is in court

Intake calls arrive when the people who could take them are on the record, in a deposition or with a client. The receptionist is on another line, the voicemail asks for a message, and most callers with something urgent do not leave one. They call the next firm on the list, and that firm picks up.

02

The web form is read on Monday

The enquiry lands in a shared inbox on Friday evening. By the time somebody triages it, the person has had the weekend to find a lawyer who replied on Friday night. A form that asked good questions still produces nothing if the answer comes two days later.

03

Nobody follows up the consultation that was not booked

The prospect asked about fees, said they would think about it, and went quiet. The follow-up that would have booked them on the third or fourth touch is the task that never gets to the top of a paralegal's list, so it is never sent, and the enquiry the firm paid to attract goes cold.

04

Intake lives in four places and a legal pad

The phone message is on a sticky note, the chat transcript is in the chat vendor's portal, the email is in one associate's inbox and the DM is on the marketing coordinator's phone. When the same person has used two of those channels, nobody knows, and the supervising lawyer cannot see what anyone was told.

One agent. Every channel. The intake you wrote, every time.

You build the intake agent once, with your questions, your answers and your hand-over rules. From then on it takes every enquiry on the channels you connect and only fetches a lawyer for the conversations that need one.

01 / Answers

In real time, from your material only

It picks up the call on your own Twilio number, answers the chat widget, the mailbox and the DMs, and replies from your documents, your Q&A pairs, your fee and office data points and the pages of your site you allowed. What the practice does, how the first consultation is charged, where to park: answered. Whether the caller has a case: handed to a lawyer, every time.

02 / Qualifies

With the questions you wrote, in the order you wrote them

Matter type, urgency, where the person is, how they found you, the name of the other party for your conflict check if you asked for it. The agent asks, records the answers in the thread against that person, and, with HubSpot or GoHighLevel connected, writes them to the CRM record. The same questions on the phone, in the chat, by email and in a DM.

03 / Books and hands over

The consultation in the calendar, the rest to a person

It is given your real open slots for the week ahead, offers a few of them, and writes the one the client picks into your calendar. Anything you named in its instructions, a request for advice, a distressed caller, a matter outside your practice areas, an existing client, goes to your inbox with the agent standing down until you hand the thread back.

Follow-up on your terms, with hours, consent and a stop word

The prospect who did not book is followed up by a sequence you wrote: an email the next morning, a text two days later, a final note the week after, or whatever timing you choose. The text step carries the number it sends from, how many texts an hour that number may send, the sending window and the Reply STOP line. A STOP on any channel ends the sequence on every channel and cancels anything queued to that person. The campaign is created as a draft and shows the whole plan before it starts. It sends nothing until you press Start.

Every message goes out from your own mailbox and your own number, so it reads as the firm and not as a third party. Every reply, and the material it was generated from, is stored against the person, so the firm can show what was said about fees, timing or scope to any prospect at any point.

The text messages card in the campaign builder: which agent's number sends, texts per hour per number, a TCPA consent tick with the 9am to 8pm sending window and the Reply STOP line, and the opening text of the sequence.

The four things that turn an enquiry into a consultation

Each one answers a problem above, and each one runs without a paralegal remembering to do it.

Speed

Answered in seconds, whoever is in court

The call, the chat, the email and the DM are answered the moment they arrive, from your knowledge base, with your intake questions. No voicemail, no Monday.

Consistency

The same intake, every time

Every enquiry is asked the same questions in the same order and given the same answers about fees and scope, on every channel, because it is one agent with one set of instructions.

Booking

The consultation in the calendar, not a link in an email

It offers real open slots and writes the appointment in when the client picks one. It cannot book a time that was not free or one it did not offer.

Record

A record for the supervising lawyer

Transcripts, recordings, chats and emails on one row per person, with timestamps and the source of every reply, ready for the file, the conflict check or the complaint.

And you can see which channel produced the consultation

Every call, chat, email, DM, follow-up and booking is recorded against a person and reported as a funnel, per agent and across all agents. This is the part that tells the firm which of its marketing actually leads to a client sitting down with a lawyer.

The Bold Agent Kit dashboard: 157 people reached, 89 replied, 59 visited the site, 9 converted and $4,050 of value won over the last 30 days, with a breakdown by channel and by agent, and recent journeys underneath.

The funnel counts people rather than messages: how many enquiries the agent reached, how many replied, how many went on to visit your site, and how many booked, with the total value won and the median time from first contact to booking. Set a goal with a dollar value on a booked consultation, or mark a matter as won by hand with the fee attached, and the dashboard reports what each channel and each campaign brought in.

Below the funnel, a channel table shows where each person first made contact and which channel they were on when they booked, so you learn whether it is the phone, the chat widget or the Instagram DM that produces clients in your practice area. One row per person shows the whole journey in order, and, with the one-line snippet on your site, visit triggers close the loop: when a known prospect returns to your fees page and leaves without booking, the agent tells you, or follows up after a delay on the channel they last used.

A funnel of people, not messagesReached, replied, visited your site, booked a consultation, and the value won.
Time to bookThe median time from first enquiry to consultation, so you know how long the follow-up should run.
Which channel booked itWhere each person first made contact, and the channel they were on when they booked.
The pages before a bookingWhat known prospects read on your site before they booked, by practice area if you have one page per area.
One row per personEvery call, chat, email, DM and booking for that prospect, in order, with timestamps.
Value won per campaignGoals carry a dollar figure, so a follow-up run reports the consultations it produced.
Journey view

Every event for one person

Built from the cookie, email address and phone number attached to that contact, so activity months apart on different channels appears on one row.

A journey row for one contact: their address, then every email reply in order along a single line, with earlier events folded up behind a +5.
Visit triggers

Follow up on a return visit

Page goals and visit triggers require a one-line snippet on your website. Conversations, bookings and manually marking a deal won work without it.

A saved visit trigger: when a lead visits /thank-you, email me after 20 minutes, once per 7 days, with a fired count and an on switch.

What law firm intake normally takes, and what it takes here

Each of these is usually a separate person, a separate service or a separate tool, and most of them are priced per call, per minute, per conversation or per seat. Here they are one plan.

Bold Agent Kit is $25 a month, or $200 a year, for the whole firm: every agent, every channel, every enquiry, no per-call or per-seat charge. The only other costs are your carrier's, for calls and texts, and your AI provider's, typically a few dollars a month.

What law firms put an agent on

The same agent covers all of these. Many firms run one per practice area, one per office, or one for intake and another for existing-client questions.

It books your calendar, updates your CRM and knows what they bought

Connect the tools you already run and the agent works them like an assistant would: it takes appointments straight into your calendar, writes notes and outcomes back to the CRM, and reads your store to see what somebody has bought before it answers them.

Bookings are real, not guesses. It is only ever given slots that are genuinely free, and it can only take one it actually offered — so it cannot invent a time or double-book you. The same connection pulls a segment of past customers into a list when you want to run a campaign at them.

Powered by your own keys

Each agent uses a model on your own API key, in the same way it sends from your own mailbox and your own phone number. Sixteen providers are supported: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, xAI and Mistral; DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, Qwen and MiniMax; Groq, Together, Fireworks and OpenRouter; and Ollama or any other OpenAI-compatible endpoint you host yourself.

Bring your own credentials and you own the whole stack: your model provider, your mailboxes, your carrier, your CRM. We charge for the software and nothing else — no token markup, no metering, no credit packs — so your provider bills you direct at their rates, usually a few dollars a month per agent.

None of it matters if the email lands in spam

A new address sending forty cold emails a day gets filtered, and takes the domain with it. Mailboxes that opt into warm-up send each other ordinary mail on a ramp, starting at five a day. The receiving mailbox finds each message, moves it out of spam if it landed there, marks it read and replies to a share of them.

Each mailbox carries a health score out of 100 — SPF, DKIM and DMARC on the sending domain, seven days of real sends and bounces, and where its own warm-up mail is landing — with the reasons listed. A mailbox whose bounce rate or spam placement passes a threshold is pulled out of campaign rotation automatically, before it damages the domain.

AI agents for law firms go live this afternoon, and nothing goes out until you say so

Three steps. Inbound answering is a switch per channel, and a follow-up campaign is created as a draft that shows you the whole plan before it sends anything.

Build the intake agent

Name it, choose a model and paste your API key. Then give it what it needs to take intake for your firm: your practice-area pages, your fee sheet for a first consultation as data points, your office hours and address, and your Q&A pairs for the questions callers actually ask. "Do you take this kind of matter?", "what does the first meeting cost?", "do I need to bring anything?".

Write the instructions last: the intake questions in the order you want them asked, what it may say about scope and fees, the plain rule that it does not give legal advice, and the exact situations in which it must stop and fetch a person. A request for advice, an existing client, an emergency and a matter outside your practice areas are the usual four.

Q&A pairsyour answers to what callers ask
Data pointsconsultation fees, hours, address
Your pagespractice areas and booking page, linked verbatim
Instructionsintake questions, no advice, when to hand over

Connect the phone, the site and the calendar

Add the intake line on Twilio, the intake@ mailbox, the chat snippet for your website and the social accounts clients actually message. Each one runs on your own account, so the calls come from your number, the emails from your domain, and the reputation stays yours.

Then add the calendar the consultations go into, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, Cal.com or Acuity, and the CRM if you run one, so the agent writes the intake answers to the record and knows an existing client when one calls.

Switch inbound on, then read the plan

Switch auto-reply on for the channels you want the agent to answer. Answering calls is its own switch, and dialling is another, so the intake agent can pick up without ever placing a call. From that moment it takes every enquiry that arrives.

For the enquiries that did not book, build a follow-up campaign, set the days, hours and time zone it may send, and read the whole plan on the review screen: every person, every step, every date. Nothing leaves until you press Start. Then watch the inbox: replies are worked by the agent, anything you named comes to you, and a booking ends the sequence.

One account, unlimited agents

One account runs unlimited agents, one per client, and nothing is shared between them. A knowledge base belongs to a single agent, and content from one agent is never used to generate replies for another.

Invite a client by email address and they get their own login, which opens onto the one agent you gave them: its conversations, its numbers, its analytics and a reply box. They cannot see your other clients, your API keys, your settings or your billing. Access is deny-by-default.

Do AI agents for law firms give legal advice?

No, and the agent is configured not to. It answers about the firm: which practice areas you take, how a first consultation is charged, where the office is, what to bring, all from the material you gave it. When a caller asks whether they have a case, what a deadline is or what they should do next, the agent says that a lawyer will answer that, takes the details a lawyer needs in order to call back, and the thread lands in your inbox with the agent standing down. The rule is written into its instructions, and every reply is stored beside the source it was generated from, so you can check that it held.

Is an AI receptionist for law firms compatible with bar rules on client communication and advertising?

The agent says only what you instructed it to say, from your own documents, Q&A pairs and data points, and keeps a full record of every conversation with timestamps and recordings. It answers on your own number and from your own mailbox. Whether your intake script, your fee statements and your follow-up messages comply with the rules of your bar or regulator on advertising, solicitation, confidentiality and the handling of prospective-client information is the firm's decision and responsibility, exactly as it would be with a receptionist or an answering service. The firm decides what may be said, and the agent does not say anything else.

What intake questions does it ask?

Whichever ones you write. Most firms ask for the type of matter, how urgent it is, where the person is located and how they found the firm. If you want it to ask for the name of the other party so your team can run the conflict check, add that to the instructions. The agent asks the same questions in the same order on the phone, in the chat widget, by email and in a DM, records the answers in the thread against that person, and, with HubSpot or GoHighLevel connected, writes them to the contact record. It does not run the conflict check itself; it collects what your team needs to run it.

Can it book the consultation, or does it just send a booking link?

It books. The agent is given your real open slots for the week ahead from Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, Cal.com, Acuity Scheduling or one of the other supported calendars, and offers a few of them. When the client picks one, the choice is checked against the slots that were offered, written into the calendar and confirmed in the reply. It cannot book a time that was not free, and it cannot cancel an appointment it was not shown. With one agent per lawyer or per office, each books into its own calendar.

What happens when a caller needs to speak to a lawyer straight away?

That is one of the situations you name in its instructions. When a caller says it is an emergency, is distressed, or is an existing client, the agent takes the details and the thread lands in your inbox with the agent standing down on that conversation. Your inbox is one list across every channel, newest first, tagged with the channel, so the person on duty sees the call transcript alongside the chats and emails. A person replies in the thread themselves, and hands it back to the agent when they are done.

Can AI agents for law firms answer the phone after hours?

Yes. The agent answers calls on your own Twilio number in real time, speaking from the script you saved, and it uses the fastest model your provider offers on a call so it does not leave silences. Transcription comes from Google or Deepgram, and the voice from Google, Amazon Polly or ElevenLabs. Every call is recorded and transcribed against the caller's record. Answering and dialling are separate switches, so you can have it pick up every incoming call and never place one. If you would rather it only answered outside office hours, leave the switch off during the day.

Can I run one agent per practice area or per office?

Yes. Unlimited agents are included in the one plan, and each has its own number, mailbox, calendar, knowledge base, instructions and analytics. Nothing is shared between them: a knowledge base belongs to one agent and is never used to generate a reply for another. A family-law intake does not quote the commercial team's fees, and each office books into its own calendar. You can invite an office manager into one agent with their own login, and they see that agent's inbox and funnel and nothing else on the account.

What does it cost per call or per lead?

Nothing per call, per lead or per seat. The plan is $25 a month or $200 a year for the whole firm, with unlimited agents, contacts and lists, and a 7-day free trial. The AI runs on your own key with one of sixteen providers, billed to you by that provider at cost, typically a few dollars a month. Calls and texts are billed by your carrier at its rates. There is no per-minute charge from us for calls, no per-conversation charge for chat, and no percentage of anything.

The same agent, in other industries

One subscription, unlimited agents. What changes is the knowledge base, the channels and the instructions.

The next enquiry arrives while you are in court.

Build the intake agent, connect the line and the calendar, switch inbound on. Every enquiry is answered, every consultation is booked, and every word is kept for the lawyer who takes the matter.
