AI agents for auto shops
that book service, chase quotes.

AI agents for auto dealers and repair shops that answer the phone while every advisor is under a bonnet, book the service into your calendar from the slots that are actually free, follow up the estimate you sent on Tuesday until the customer approves it or says no, answer the used-car enquiry with a test drive booked, and send the MOT, inspection and service reminders to last year's customers. On your own number, from your own material.

Every channel wired into one agent and out to the tools behind it: email, SMS, phone, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Slack, Discord, X, Reddit, Bluesky, website chat, campaign sequences and follow-ups on one side; HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, HubSpot Meetings, Zoho Bookings, Acuity Scheduling, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace on the other.

The phone answered and the service booked, while the advisors are on the floor

A repair shop's phone rings most when nobody can answer it: the advisor is with a customer at the counter, the technician is under a car, the owner is on the other line with a supplier. The caller wants to know whether you can do a brake job Thursday and what it will cost, and if it goes to voicemail they call the next shop on the list. Connect your own Twilio number and the agent answers in real time from the script you saved, as an auto repair answering service that actually books.

Service appointment booking works the same on every channel. With Google Calendar, Square Appointments, Acuity Scheduling, Microsoft 365 or another calendar connected, the agent is given your genuinely open slots for the week ahead and offers a few. The one the customer picks, on the phone, by text or in the chat, is checked against the slots it offered, written into the calendar and confirmed on the channel they used. It cannot book a bay that was not free.

It asks the questions you told it to ask: year, make and model, what the car is doing, whether they need a courtesy car, whether they will wait. The booking lands in the inbox with the transcript, the recording and the answers, so the advisor opens the ticket on Thursday morning already knowing what is coming in.

The Inbox as one list: web chat, texts and calls together, a call marked no answer, a completed call that booked a roof inspection, texts confirming a Thursday appointment and asking the price, each row tagged with the channel it arrived on.

The estimate chased until it is approved, declined or handed to you

Every shop has a pile of estimates that were sent and never answered. The customer took the car home to think about it, meant to call back, and did not. Chasing them is the job the advisor never gets to, because the cars in the bays come first. The agent runs it as a sequence: a text the day after the estimate, an email on day three from a saved template with the estimate details filled in, a call on day six on your own number, and a final text a week later.

The text step carries the number it sends from, the texts-per-hour pace for that number, the sending window with its days, hours and time zone, and the Reply STOP line. A reply of STOP is honoured on every channel at once and anything queued to that customer is cancelled. Each step can be conditional: place the call only if they did not open the email.

A reply of "go ahead" ends the sequence and books the work into the calendar from the slots that are free. "Can you do it any cheaper?" or "what if we just do the pads?" is the kind of reply you tell it to hand over: it lands with the service advisor, with the thread, and the agent stands down. The agent cannot take a deposit; it links to the payment page on your own site you allowed.

The text messages card in the campaign builder: which agent's number sends, texts per hour per number, a TCPA consent tick with the 9am to 8pm sending window and the Reply STOP line, and the opening text of the sequence.

Auto dealer lead follow-up in seconds, with the test drive booked

A used-car enquiry from your website, a chat that starts with "is the silver one still there?", a WhatsApp message with a photo of the listing. The person is asking three dealers the same question tonight and buying from the one who answers with a real reply and a time to come in. The agent answers from the stock list and the Q&A you gave it, at any hour, and offers test-drive slots from the sales calendar.

It asks what you would ask: whether they have a part-exchange, whether they need finance, when they are looking to buy. Finance questions are answered from the material you wrote and only that; a rate it was not given is a question it hands to a salesperson. The chat widget is one line of script on your website, in your colour, and it asks for a number or an email when the conversation is worth keeping.

The enquiry that does not book today goes into a nurture sequence by email and text, for as long as you set, and stops the moment they reply, book or opt out. When the person who chatted on Monday walks in on Saturday, the salesperson has the whole thread, and the customer is not asked the same three questions again.

A website chat conversation in the Inbox: the visitor asks how much it is, the agent answers with the price and a link, the visitor's story is drawn across the top, and a reply box lets a person take the thread over.

MOT and service reminders to last year's customers, and a record of every contact

The customers who came in last October are due again this October, and most shops have never told them so. Pull the segment out of HubSpot or GoHighLevel, or import a CSV from wherever the history lives, write the reminder in your own words, set the days and hours it may send, read the plan and press Start. The agent works the replies and books the appointments; a reply of "we sold that car" is recorded and ends the sequence for that customer.

One row per customer: the enquiry, the booking, the estimate, the follow-up, the approval, the reminder the following year. Every reply the agent wrote is stored alongside the material it was generated from, so when a customer says "you told me it was included", the message, its source and the timestamp are there.

The dashboard counts people rather than messages: how many customers the reminder reached, how many replied, how many booked, and the value won if you set the campaign goal with a figure for an average service. A channel table shows whether it was the text or the call that got the booking.

The Bold Agent Kit dashboard: 157 people reached, 89 replied, 59 visited the site, 9 converted and $4,050 of value won over the last 30 days, with a breakdown by channel and by agent, and recent journeys underneath.

AI agents for auto dealers and repair shops, one per department

A dealership or a repair shop is three businesses under one roof, and all three are answering the same phone. The service department is booking work and chasing estimates. The sales floor is answering "is it still available?" and trying to get people through the door. The parts counter is telling people whether it is in stock and what time you close. Every one of those conversations is worth money, every one of them arrives when the person who should answer it is busy with the last one, and the ones that arrive after six are answered tomorrow, if the caller has not gone elsewhere.

Bold Agent Kit gives you AI agents for auto dealers and repair shops that answer each department on every channel, in seconds, from your own material. Build one for service, one for sales and one for parts, each with its own number, mailbox, calendar, knowledge base and instructions, on one subscription. The service agent answers the phone, books the work into the calendar from the slots that are free, and chases the estimates. The sales agent answers the enquiry, books the test drive and follows up until they buy or say stop. The parts agent answers hours, prices and lead times from your data points and hands the rest to the counter.

Everything each agent says comes from you. The service agent gets your labour rates, your hours, your courtesy-car policy and your standard-job prices as data points, and your answers to the questions you get every day as Q&A pairs. The sales agent gets the stock list as a document, and the pages of your own site it may link to. You write the instructions: what it should ask, what it must never quote, and the exact situations in which it stops and fetches a person. Every reply is stored alongside the source it came from.

It is an AI receptionist for car dealerships and repair shops that does more than take a message. It books, because it is given your real open slots and can only take one it offered. It chases, because a campaign runs the follow-up on the days you set, inside the hours you allowed, until the customer answers or opts out. It remembers, because the phone number that called, the email that enquired and the WhatsApp that sent the photo are one contact with one history, read before every reply. And it hands over, because anything you named, a price negotiation, a complaint, a finance question, a warranty claim, comes to the right person with the thread already gathered.

It does not replace the advisor, the salesperson or the parts manager. It does the part of their job that is answering the same questions for the tenth time today, chasing the same estimates for the third week, and sending the reminders that never got sent. It cannot take a payment or a deposit; it links to the payment page on your own site. It cannot check live stock it was not given; it hands that to the counter. What it can do, it does at 7pm on a Saturday exactly as it does at 10am on a Tuesday.

It is $25 a month, or $200 a year, for the whole account: unlimited agents, unlimited customers, unlimited campaigns. You pay your carrier for the texts and calls and your AI provider for the model, both at cost and both a few dollars a month per agent. There is no per-minute charge for the calls it answers, no per-message charge for the reminders it sends, and no per-seat charge for the three departments.

The phone rings when nobody can pick it up, and the estimates go quiet

The work is good, the prices are fair and the customers mostly come back. Four things get in the way, and none of them is anybody's fault.

01

The call goes to voicemail, and the caller goes elsewhere

The advisor is at the counter, the technician is under a car, the owner is on the other line. The caller wanted a brake job on Thursday and a rough price. They got voicemail, and they called the next shop, who answered. The job was lost in the forty seconds it took for nobody to be free.

02

The estimate is sent, and then nothing

The customer took the car home to think about a $900 repair, meant to call back, and did not. Chasing it is the advisor's job, and the advisor has four cars in the bays. So the estimate sits, the customer forgets, and the work is eventually done somewhere cheaper or not at all.

03

The sales enquiry waits until the morning meeting

A website enquiry at 8pm on a used car gets answered at 9:30 the next morning, after the enquirer has heard back from two other dealers and booked a test drive with one of them. Speed to lead decides who sells the car, and the sales floor cannot be at its desk at 8pm.

04

Last year's customers are never reminded

The customers who came in last October are due again this October, and the shop has their number and their car and has never sent them a word. That list is the cheapest work a shop will ever book, and it is the campaign that never gets sent, because nobody has the afternoon.

One agent per department. Every channel. Every call answered.

You build each agent once from your hours, prices, policies and stock. From then on it answers every channel you connect, books what can be booked, chases what you told it to chase, and hands the rest to a person with the context already gathered.

01 / Answers

In seconds, on every channel, from your material

The phone, the text, the website chat, the email and the WhatsApp are answered on the channel they arrived on, at any hour, from the data points, documents and Q&A pairs you gave that department's agent. Hours, labour rates, standard-job prices, courtesy cars, the stock list. It links only to the pages of your own site you allowed, and a question it cannot answer from your material is handed to a person.

02 / Books

The service and the test drive, into the calendar

With Google Calendar, Square Appointments, Acuity Scheduling or another calendar connected, the agent is given your real open slots and offers a few. The one the customer picks is checked against what was offered, written in and confirmed. It cannot book a bay or a salesperson who was not free, and it cannot cancel an appointment it was not shown. Every booking is recorded against the customer.

03 / Chases

The estimate and the reminder, on a schedule, until there is an answer

Quote follow-up and service reminders run as campaigns: text, email and call steps on the days you set, inside the hours and time zone you allowed, with send conditions on opens and clicks. A reply, a booking or an opt-out on any channel ends the sequence on every channel and cancels what is queued. "Go ahead" books the work; "any cheaper?" comes to you.

The WhatsApp with a photo of the car, answered by the same agent

Used-car buyers message the way they message everybody else: a WhatsApp with a screenshot of the listing, a Messenger DM asking whether the price is negotiable, an Instagram reply to the reel you posted of the car. Connect each platform with your own app credentials and the sales agent answers them inside each platform's own reply window, from the same stock list and the same instructions as the website chat, and offers the same real test-drive slots.

The handle that messaged is attached to the same contact record as the email address that enquired and the number that called, so when the same person turns up on the forecourt on Saturday, the salesperson has one thread, not three. Every DM lands in the same inbox as the calls and the emails, tagged with the platform.

The same applies to the service department. A customer who texts a photo of a warning light to the service number is answered from the material you gave the agent, asked the questions you wrote, and offered a slot. The conversation is in the inbox, with the picture, before the advisor has finished with the customer at the counter.

The agent's Social tab: Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X as a grid of platform cards, each connected with your own app credentials.

The four things that actually fill the bays and sell the cars

Each one answers a problem above, and each one runs without anybody on the floor remembering to do it.

Speed

The call answered, the enquiry replied to

The 8pm enquiry is answered at 8pm with a real reply and a time to come in. The call at the busiest hour of the day is answered, booked and in the inbox before the advisor is free.

Persistence

The estimate chased until there is an answer

A text, an email, a call and a final text, on the days you set. It stops the moment they approve, decline or opt out, and it never decides a $900 job is not worth the next message.

Memory

One customer, one car, one history

The call, the text, the WhatsApp and the email become one contact, read before every reply, so the customer who booked last year is greeted as a customer and not a stranger.

Booking

The slot in the calendar, not a callback

Real open bays and test-drive times offered, the one they pick written in and confirmed. The advisor opens Thursday morning already knowing what is coming in.

And you can see which channel booked the work

Every call, text, chat, estimate, follow-up, booking and approval is recorded against a customer and reported as a funnel, per department and across the business. This is the part that tells you whether the text or the call is what gets an estimate approved, and which channel brings the sales enquiries that actually buy.

The Bold Agent Kit dashboard: 157 people reached, 89 replied, 59 visited the site, 9 converted and $4,050 of value won over the last 30 days, with a breakdown by channel and by agent, and recent journeys underneath.

The funnel counts people rather than messages: how many customers the agent reached, how many replied, how many went on to visit your website, and how many converted, with the total value won and the median time it took. A conversion is what you define it to be. Set a goal for a booked service with your average ticket as the value, or mark a sold car as won with its margin, and each campaign reports what it produced rather than how many texts it sent.

Below the funnel, a channel table shows where each person first made contact and which channel they were on when they converted, so you learn whether it is the day-six call or the day-one text that gets estimates approved, and whether the Instagram enquiries or the website enquiries are the ones that buy. One row per customer shows the whole history in order: the first call, the booking, the estimate, the chase, the approval, the reminder a year later.

With a one-line snippet on your website, page goals and visit triggers close the loop. When a known enquirer comes back to the listing page for the same car three days later, or a customer opens the estimate page you sent and leaves without approving it, the agent can tell you, or send a follow-up after a delay you set, on the channel they last used.

Journey view

Every event for one person

Built from the cookie, email address and phone number attached to that contact, so activity months apart on different channels appears on one row.

A journey row for one contact: their address, then every email reply in order along a single line, with earlier events folded up behind a +5.
Visit triggers

Follow up on a return visit

Page goals and visit triggers require a one-line snippet on your website. Conversations, bookings and manually marking a deal won work without it.

A saved visit trigger: when a lead visits /thank-you, email me after 20 minutes, once per 7 days, with a fired count and an on switch.

What answering a shop normally takes, and what it takes here

What dealers and repair shops put an agent on

The same agent type covers all of these. Most accounts run one per department: service, sales and parts, each with its own number, mailbox and knowledge base.

An independent shop or a dealer service department. The agent answers the service number in real time, books the work into the calendar from the slots that are free, asks the questions you wrote about the car and the fault, and chases every estimate that went quiet with a text, an email and a call on the days you set. "Go ahead" books the job; "any cheaper?" and "is that covered under warranty?" come to the advisor with the thread. Past customers get the service reminder when it is due, in your words.

A dealer's sales floor. The agent answers the website enquiry, the chat and the WhatsApp in seconds from the stock list, asks about part-exchange, finance and timing in your words, and books the test drive into the sales calendar. The enquiry that does not book goes into a nurture sequence by email and text until they buy, book or say stop. On the phone it works as an AI receptionist for car dealerships on your own number, so the caller at 6:30pm asking about the silver estate gets an answer and a time, not a message.

The parts counter and the customer list. The parts agent answers hours, prices, lead times and what you stock as a matter of course from data points and your price list, and hands "have you got one on the shelf right now?" to the counter with the customer's number. The reminder campaigns work the customer list: pull the segment whose MOT, inspection or service is due next month out of HubSpot or GoHighLevel, or import a CSV, write the reminder, read the plan and press Start. The agent books the replies into the calendar.

It books your calendar, updates your CRM and knows what they bought

Connect the tools you already run and the agent works them like an assistant would: it takes appointments straight into your calendar, writes notes and outcomes back to the CRM, and reads your store to see what somebody has bought before it answers them.

Bookings are real, not guesses. It is only ever given slots that are genuinely free, and it can only take one it actually offered — so it cannot invent a time or double-book you. The same connection pulls a segment of past customers into a list when you want to run a campaign at them.

Each agent uses a model on your own API key, in the same way it sends from your own mailbox and your own phone number. Sixteen providers are supported: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, xAI and Mistral; DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, Qwen and MiniMax; Groq, Together, Fireworks and OpenRouter; and Ollama or any other OpenAI-compatible endpoint you host yourself.

Bring your own credentials and you own the whole stack: your model provider, your mailboxes, your carrier, your CRM. We charge for the software and nothing else — no token markup, no metering, no credit packs — so your provider bills you direct at their rates, usually a few dollars a month per agent.

None of it matters if the email lands in spam

A new address sending forty cold emails a day gets filtered, and takes the domain with it. Mailboxes that opt into warm-up send each other ordinary mail on a ramp, starting at five a day. The receiving mailbox finds each message, moves it out of spam if it landed there, marks it read and replies to a share of them.

Each mailbox carries a health score out of 100 — SPF, DKIM and DMARC on the sending domain, seven days of real sends and bounces, and where its own warm-up mail is landing — with the reasons listed. A mailbox whose bounce rate or spam placement passes a threshold is pulled out of campaign rotation automatically, before it damages the domain.

Live before the end of the shift, and nothing sends until you say so

Three steps. Inbound switches on when you connect a channel. A follow-up or reminder campaign is created as a draft and shows you the whole plan, every customer and every step, before it sends anything.

Build the service, sales and parts agents from your prices and policies

Name each one, choose a model and paste your API key. Then give each agent what its department needs. Service: labour rates, standard-job prices, hours, the courtesy-car and waiting policy as data points, your answers to the questions you get every day as Q&A pairs, and the booking and payment pages of your own site it may link to. Sales: the stock list as a document, your finance wording, and the listing pages. Parts: hours, the price list and lead times.

Write the instructions last: what to ask about the car and the fault, what it must never quote, how firm to be when chasing an estimate, and the exact situations in which it should stop and fetch a person. A price negotiation, a warranty question, a complaint and a finance rate it was not given are the usual four.

Connect the service number, the sales mailbox and the calendars

Add the service number for texts and calls, the sales@ and service@ mailboxes, the chat snippet for your website, and the WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram accounts buyers actually use. Each one runs on your own account, so the calls come from your number, the emails from your address, and the reputation stays yours.

Then connect the calendars, one for the bays and one for test drives, so each agent books into the right one, and the CRM, HubSpot or GoHighLevel, so it reads what you already know about a customer before it answers and writes the outcome back. Import the customer list as a CSV, or pull the segment that is due next month straight out of the CRM into a list.

Switch the phone on, then start the chase and the reminders

Switch answering on for the service number and auto-reply on for each channel, and the agents start answering what already arrives. For the estimate chase and the reminders, build the sequence across text, email and call, set the days, hours and time zone it may contact anyone, and read the whole plan on the review screen: every customer, every step, every date. Nothing leaves until you press Start.

Then watch the inbox. Bookings appear in the calendars, approvals end the chase, and anything you named comes to the advisor or the salesperson with the thread. Pause a campaign when the bays are full and resume it when they are not.

One account, unlimited agents

One account runs unlimited agents, one per client, and nothing is shared between them. A knowledge base belongs to a single agent, and content from one agent is never used to generate replies for another.

Invite a client by email address and they get their own login, which opens onto the one agent you gave them: its conversations, its numbers, its analytics and a reply box. They cannot see your other clients, your API keys, your settings or your billing. Access is deny-by-default.

What do AI agents for auto dealers and repair shops do when a customer calls to book a service?

With your own Twilio number connected and answering switched on, the agent picks up in real time and speaks from the script you saved, using your provider's fastest model so it does not leave silences. It asks what you told it to ask, the year, make and model, what the car is doing, whether they need a courtesy car, and answers what it can from your data points: hours, labour rate, standard-job prices. Then it offers real open slots from the calendar you connected and books the one the caller picks, confirming it on the call. The recording, the transcript and the booking land in the inbox against that customer, so the advisor knows what is coming in before the car arrives.

Can it book the service appointment into my calendar, or does it just take a message?

It books. Connect Google Calendar, Square Appointments, Acuity Scheduling, Microsoft 365, Calendly, Cal.com, Zoho Bookings or HubSpot Meetings, and the agent is given your genuinely open slots for the week ahead. It offers a few of them, on the phone, by text, in the chat or in a DM, and when the customer picks one, that choice is checked against the slots it offered, written into the calendar and confirmed on the same channel. It cannot book a bay that was not free, it cannot double-book a technician, and it cannot cancel an appointment it was not shown. Run one calendar for the bays and one for test drives, and each department's agent books into its own.

How does it chase a quote or an estimate?

As a campaign, in your words, on your timing. Add the customer to a list when the estimate goes out, and the sequence runs: a text the next day, an email on day three from a saved template with the estimate details filled in, a call on day six on your own number, a final text a week later. Each step has its own delay and send condition, and everything goes out inside the days, hours and time zone you allowed. A reply of "go ahead" ends the sequence and the agent books the work from the slots that are free. A reply asking for a discount, or about warranty, is handed to the advisor with the thread. STOP ends it on every channel and cancels what is queued.

Can it answer the sales enquiry and book a test drive?

Yes. The website enquiry, the chat, the email and the WhatsApp are answered in seconds from the stock list you uploaded and the Q&A you wrote: whether the car is still available, the price, the mileage, the spec. It asks about part-exchange, finance and timing in your words, and offers real test-drive slots from the sales calendar, booking the one they pick. On finance it says only what you wrote, and hands a rate it was not given to a salesperson. The enquiry that does not book goes into an auto dealer lead follow-up sequence by email and text until they buy, book or opt out, and the salesperson sees the whole thread when the buyer walks in.

Can it send MOT and service reminders to past customers?

Yes, and it is usually the cheapest work a shop books all year. Connect HubSpot or GoHighLevel and pull the segment whose service, inspection or MOT is due next month into a contact list, or import a CSV from wherever the history lives. Write the reminder in your own words, an email and a text, set the days and hours it may send, read the plan and press Start. The agent works the replies: "yes, next week" is answered with real slots and booked into the calendar, "we sold that car" is recorded and ends the sequence, and anything else you named comes to you. Every campaign email carries a one-click unsubscribe, honoured automatically, including on messages already queued.

Does it know our hours, prices and whether a part is in stock?

It knows what you gave it. Store your hours, labour rate, standard-job prices, lead times and policies as data points, upload the price list and the stock list as documents, and add your answers to the everyday questions as Q&A pairs. The agent quotes those verbatim and never guesses at a price or a closing time. What it was not given, such as whether a specific part is on the shelf right now, it does not invent: it says so and hands the question to the parts counter with the customer's number and the thread. Every reply is stored alongside the material it was generated from, so you can read back exactly why it quoted what it quoted.

Can I run one agent per department?

Yes, and most dealers do. Unlimited agents are included in the one plan, and each has its own number, mailboxes, calendar, knowledge base, instructions, contacts and analytics, with nothing shared between them. The service agent answers the service number and books into the bays; the sales agent answers the enquiries and books test drives; the parts agent answers the counter's questions. Because a knowledge base belongs to one agent, the sales agent never quotes a labour rate and the service agent never discusses finance. A department manager can be invited into their own agent with a login that shows its inbox and its funnel, and nothing else on the account.

What do AI agents for auto dealers and repair shops cost?

The plan is $25 a month or $200 a year for the whole account, with a 7-day free trial, unlimited agents, unlimited contacts and unlimited campaigns. There is no per-minute charge for the calls it answers, no per-message charge for the reminders it sends, and no per-seat charge for the three departments. You pay your carrier for texts and calls, at the carrier's rates, and your AI provider for the model on your own key, both at cost and typically a few dollars a month per agent. Sixteen providers are supported, and you can change provider or model at any time. Nothing is metered or marked up on our side.
