AI agents for retail stores
that answer while you serve.

AI agents for retail stores that pick up the phone on your own number, answer "are you open on Sunday?", "do you have it in a medium?" and "how much is the repair?" from the hours, stock and prices you gave them, book the fitting or the consultation into your calendar, and text last season's customers about the new arrivals. One agent per location, $25 a month for all of them.

7-day free trial · Cancel anytime

Every channel wired into one agent and out to the tools behind it: email, SMS, phone, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Slack, Discord, X, Reddit, Bluesky, website chat, campaign sequences and follow-ups on one side; HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, HubSpot Meetings, Zoho Bookings, Acuity Scheduling, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace on the other.

The phone answered on the shop floor's busiest hour, on your own number

The phone rings while you are mid-sale and the person who called about the hours goes to the shop that picked up. The agent answers on your own Twilio number, hears and speaks in real time, and gives the hours, the directions, the price and whether the item is in from the data points and Q&A pairs you loaded. When the caller wants a fitting or a repair slot, it offers real open times and books one. The transcript and recording land in the inbox.

Texts run on the same number through Twilio or one of eight other carriers. "Are you open today?" at 8am gets the day's hours at 8am. Answering and dialling are separate switches, so it can pick up without ever placing a call you did not ask for.

The Inbox as one list: web chat, texts and calls together, a call marked no answer, a completed call that booked a roof inspection, texts confirming a Thursday appointment and asking the price, each row tagged with the channel it arrived on.

The stock question answered on the site, and the fitting booked from it

One line of script puts a chat widget on your site in your colour, with your image and a greeting you write. A visitor asks whether you carry a brand, whether the shoe comes in a wide fit, or what parking is like, and the agent answers from your material, links only to the pages of your site you allowed, and asks for an email address when the conversation is worth keeping.

If the answer leads to a visit, the agent offers open slots from Square Appointments, Acuity or Google Calendar and writes the fitting, the repair drop-off or the consultation in. The customer gets a confirmed time, not a link.

A website chat conversation in the Inbox: the visitor asks how much it is, the agent answers with the price and a link, the visitor's story is drawn across the top, and a reply box lets a person take the thread over.

Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp answered by the same agent, from the same hours

A local shop's Instagram is where half the questions arrive now. Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X are each connected with your own app credentials and answered by the same agent inside each platform's own reply window, from the same hours, stock and prices as the phone and the chat.

The DM under the new-arrivals post that asks "do you have this in a 10?" is answered from your Q&A pairs, and the one that asks about a refund on a gift is handed to your inbox with the agent standing down, because you wrote that rule.

The agent's Social tab: Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X as a grid of platform cards, each connected with your own app credentials.

The new arrivals text to last season's customers, with the opt-out built in

Upload the customer list as a CSV, or pull a segment from a connected Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace or Stripe account if the shop sells online too, and run a text campaign for the event, the sale or the new range. The text step carries the number it sends from, the texts-per-hour pace, the TCPA consent tick with its sending window, and the Reply STOP line.

A reply of STOP is honoured on every channel at once and anything queued to that person is cancelled. A reply of "is it still on Saturday?" is answered by the agent from the event details you loaded, and lands in the inbox.

The text messages card in the campaign builder: which agent's number sends, texts per hour per number, a TCPA consent tick with the 9am to 8pm sending window and the Reply STOP line, and the opening text of the sequence.

AI agents for retail stores that know the hours, the stock and the price

A shop's questions are the same all day and they arrive in the worst moments. Are you open on the bank holiday. Do you have the blue one in a large. How much to resole a pair of boots. Where do I park. Can I book a bra fitting on Saturday. They come in on the phone while a customer is at the till, as Instagram DMs while the shop is closed, in the website chat at 10pm, and as texts to the number on the door. Each one is a sale or a visit if it is answered, and each one waits for whoever is free, which on a Saturday is nobody. AI agents for retail stores exist to answer those questions the way the best member of staff would, on every channel, at every hour, from what you told them.

Bold Agent Kit gives you one agent per shop, an AI receptionist for retail that works phone calls, text messages, website chat and social DMs from a single knowledge base. You give it the shop once: your hours, including the holiday ones, as data points; your address, parking and directions; your prices for repairs, alterations and services; the brands and ranges you carry and the answers to the questions you get asked most as Q&A pairs; and the pages of your site it may link to. Then it answers on your own number, your own chat widget and your own social accounts, and every reply is stored with the material it came from. When a question is outside what you gave it, it says so, and if you wrote the rule, hands the conversation to a person.

It books, too. Connect Square Appointments, Acuity Scheduling, Google Calendar or one of the others and the agent is given your real open slots, offers a few, and writes the fitting, the repair drop-off, the consultation or the personal shopping hour into the calendar when the customer picks one. It cannot book a time that was not free. And when the new range lands or the event is next Thursday, the customer list you built from the till or the online store becomes a text and email campaign, in the hours you set, with the replies worked by the agent and the STOP honoured everywhere.

One shop or twelve, it is the same $25 a month, or $200 a year, with unlimited agents. Each location gets its own agent on its own number, its own hours and its own calendar, and nothing is shared between them. You pay your carrier for the calls and texts and your AI provider for the model, both at cost and both a few dollars a month per shop. Nothing is charged per call, per minute, per message or per seat.

The shop is full, the phone is ringing, and the DMs are from yesterday

The customer wanted to visit. Four things get between the question and the sale, and none of them is the customer.

01

The phone rings at the worst moment

The call about the hours or the repair price arrives while you are wrapping a gift for the customer in front of you. It rings out, or goes to a voicemail nobody checks until closing, and the caller rings the shop two streets over instead. A retail store answering service costs more than the call was worth, so it rings out.

02

The DMs are answered a day late

The Instagram post about the new range brings twenty questions in the comments and the DMs, and they are answered on Tuesday by whoever has the login. "Do you have this in a 12?" is a visit on Saturday if it is answered on Saturday, and a lost customer if it is answered on Tuesday.

03

The fitting is a phone tag

A bra fitting, a suit alteration, a watch repair drop-off: each one needs a time, and the time is agreed over three missed calls and a voicemail. The customer who could have been booked in thirty seconds books somewhere with an online calendar, or does not book at all.

04

The customer list is never used

The names and numbers from the till, the loyalty card and the online orders are the cheapest footfall the shop has, and the text about the event never goes, because building it is the job that loses to the delivery and the rota. The event is on Thursday and the people who would have come do not know.

One agent per shop. Every channel. The same answers on all of them.

You build the shop agent once. From then on it answers on the number, the widget and the accounts you connect, books into the calendar you use, and fetches a person only for the conversations you named.

01 / Answers

Hours, stock, price and directions, from your material

Phone, text, website chat and eleven social DM platforms, answered by the same agent from the same knowledge base: your hours as data points, your ranges and sizes and repair prices as Q&A pairs, your directions and parking, and the pages of your site it may link to. Every reply is stored alongside the material it used, so what it said about Sunday opening is what you told it.

02 / Books

A fitting, a repair, a consultation, written in

Connect Square Appointments, Acuity Scheduling, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, Cal.com, Zoho Bookings or HubSpot Meetings and the agent offers real open slots and books the one the customer picks, on the phone, in chat or in a DM. It cannot book a time that was not free and cannot cancel an appointment it was not shown.

03 / Campaigns

The event text, with the STOP honoured

Upload the customer list or pull a segment from the connected online store, write the text and the email, set the days, hours and time zone, and read the plan before you start it. Replies are worked by the agent. STOP, unsubscribe or an opt-out on any channel ends the sequence on every channel and cancels anything queued.

One list, every channel, and the call transcript next to the DM

Every call transcript and recording, every text, every chat and every DM lands in one inbox, newest first, each row tagged with the channel it came in on: a call that booked a fitting for Thursday, a text asking whether the boots are back, a DM about parking. Filter it to a single number when you are checking one shop, or to a single agent when each location has its own.

Reply in any thread yourself and the agent stands down on that conversation, so it never talks over you. The refund on a gift, the complaint about an alteration and the trade enquiry are the ones you named in the instructions, and they arrive with the agent already standing aside. Hand the thread back when you are finished and it picks up where you left it.

The Inbox as one list: web chat, texts and calls together, a call marked no answer, a completed call that booked a roof inspection, texts confirming a Thursday appointment and asking the price, each row tagged with the channel it arrived on.

The four things AI agents for retail stores change about the front desk

Each one answers a problem above, and each one runs without anybody on the floor remembering to do it.

Speed

Answered while you serve

The call at 2pm on Saturday is answered at 2pm on Saturday, the DM at 10pm at 10pm, on the channel it arrived on, from the hours and stock you loaded.

Accuracy

The hours you set, the price you set

Holiday hours, repair prices and the ranges you carry come from your data points and Q&A pairs, not from the model's memory, and every answer is stored with its source.

Closing

The fitting is in the diary

Real open slots offered, the chosen one checked against what was offered, written to Square Appointments, Acuity or Google Calendar and confirmed in the reply.

Footfall

The campaign that goes out on Tuesday

The customer list texted and emailed about Thursday's event, in the window you set, with replies answered and opt-outs honoured everywhere.

And you can see which channel booked the fitting

Every call, text, DM, chat, page view and booking is recorded against a person and reported as a funnel, per agent and across all agents. With one agent per shop, that is one funnel per location.

The Bold Agent Kit dashboard: 157 people reached, 89 replied, 59 visited the site, 9 converted and $4,050 of value won over the last 30 days, with a breakdown by channel and by agent, and recent journeys underneath.

The funnel counts people rather than messages: how many customers the agent reached, how many replied, how many went on to visit your site, and how many converted, with the total value won and the median time to convert. A booking counts as a conversion; a sale you mark as won does too, with the figure you give it, so an event campaign reports what it brought in and not just how many texts it sent.

Below the funnel, a channel table shows where each customer first made contact and which channel they were on when they booked, so you learn whether it is the phone, the chat or Instagram that fills the fitting room. One row per customer shows the whole history in order: the DM in March, the fitting in April, the event text in June. With the one-line snippet on your site, a pages table shows which pages known people read, and a visit trigger fires when a known customer returns to the repairs page, so the agent tells you or follows up after a delay on the channel they last used. Conversations, bookings and marking a sale won work without the snippet.

Journey view

Every event for one person

Built from the cookie, email address and phone number attached to that contact, so activity months apart on different channels appears on one row.

A journey row for one contact: their address, then every email reply in order along a single line, with earlier events folded up behind a +5.
Visit triggers

Follow up on a return visit

Page goals and visit triggers require a one-line snippet on your website. Conversations, bookings and manually marking a deal won work without it.

A saved visit trigger: when a lead visits /thank-you, email me after 20 minutes, once per 7 days, with a fired count and an on switch.

What a shop's front desk normally takes, and what it takes here

Each of these is usually a separate person, a separate service or a separate app, and most of them are priced per call, per minute, per seat or per contact. Here they are one plan.

Bold Agent Kit is $25 a month, or $200 a year, for the whole account: every agent, every shop, every channel, no seat tiers. The only other costs are your carrier's, for calls and texts, and your AI provider's, typically a few dollars a month per agent, both billed to you at cost.

What shops put an agent on

The same agent covers all of these. A single shop runs one; a group runs one per location; a shop that also sells online connects the store so the agent knows what a customer bought.

It books your calendar, updates your CRM and knows what they bought

Connect the tools you already run and the agent works them like an assistant would: it takes appointments straight into your calendar, writes notes and outcomes back to the CRM, and reads your store to see what somebody has bought before it answers them.

Bookings are real, not guesses. It is only ever given slots that are genuinely free, and it can only take one it actually offered — so it cannot invent a time or double-book you. The same connection pulls a segment of past customers into a list when you want to run a campaign at them.

Powered by your own keys

Each agent uses a model on your own API key, in the same way it sends from your own mailbox and your own phone number. Sixteen providers are supported: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, xAI and Mistral; DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, Qwen and MiniMax; Groq, Together, Fireworks and OpenRouter; and Ollama or any other OpenAI-compatible endpoint you host yourself.

Bring your own credentials and you own the whole stack: your model provider, your mailboxes, your carrier, your CRM. We charge for the software and nothing else — no token markup, no metering, no credit packs — so your provider bills you direct at their rates, usually a few dollars a month per agent.

None of it matters if the email lands in spam

A new address sending forty cold emails a day gets filtered, and takes the domain with it. Mailboxes that opt into warm-up send each other ordinary mail on a ramp, starting at five a day. The receiving mailbox finds each message, moves it out of spam if it landed there, marks it read and replies to a share of them.

Each mailbox carries a health score out of 100 — SPF, DKIM and DMARC on the sending domain, seven days of real sends and bounces, and where its own warm-up mail is landing — with the reasons listed. A mailbox whose bounce rate or spam placement passes a threshold is pulled out of campaign rotation automatically, before it damages the domain.

Live this afternoon, and nothing sends until you say so

Three steps. Inbound answering is a switch per channel; a campaign is created as a draft and shows you the whole plan before it sends anything.

Build the shop agent

Name it, choose a model and paste your API key. Then give it the shop: your hours, holiday hours, address, parking and directions as data points; your repair, alteration and service prices as data points; the brands, ranges and sizes you carry and the answers to the questions you get most as Q&A pairs; your returns policy as a document; and the pages of your site it may link to.

Write the instructions last: how it should talk, what it should offer, what to do when it does not know whether an item is in, and the exact situations in which it should stop and fetch a person. A refund, a complaint and a trade enquiry are the usual three.

Connect the number, the widget, the accounts and the calendar

Add the shop's number for calls and texts on your own Twilio account, the chat snippet for the website, and the Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp accounts on your own app credentials. Each one runs on your own account, so the number on the door is the number that answers.

Then connect the calendar you take fittings and repairs in, Square Appointments, Acuity, Google Calendar or one of the others, so the agent can book, and the online store if you have one, so it knows what a customer bought and can pull a segment into a list for the next campaign.

Switch on answering, then press Start on the campaign

Switch on answering for calls and auto-reply for texts, chat and DMs, and the agent starts picking up from the hours and stock you loaded. Complaints and refunds come to your inbox as you instructed. Reply in any thread yourself and it stands down on that conversation until you hand it back.

For the event, import the list, build the text and email steps with the days, hours and time zone they may send, and read the whole plan on the review screen. Nothing leaves until you press Start, and you can pause it and resume it at any point.

One account, unlimited agents

One account runs unlimited agents, one per client, and nothing is shared between them. A knowledge base belongs to a single agent, and content from one agent is never used to generate replies for another.

Invite a client by email address and they get their own login, which opens onto the one agent you gave them: its conversations, its numbers, its analytics and a reply box. They cannot see your other clients, your API keys, your settings or your billing. Access is deny-by-default.

Can AI agents for retail stores really answer the phone?

Yes, on your own Twilio number. The agent hears and speaks in real time, using your provider's fastest model so it does not leave silences, and answers from the same knowledge base as the chat and the DMs: your hours, prices, directions and stock answers. It can offer open slots from your calendar and book a fitting or a repair drop-off on the call. Transcription comes from Google or Deepgram, the voice from Google, Amazon Polly or ElevenLabs, or your own ElevenLabs or Fish Audio account. Answering and dialling are separate switches, so it can pick up every call without ever placing one you did not ask for. Every call's transcript and recording land in the inbox.

How does it know whether something is in stock?

From what you loaded. Stock and hours questions are answered from your data points and Q&A pairs: the brands and ranges you carry, the sizes you stock, what is seasonal, what is on order. It does not read a live inventory feed from a till, and the page does not claim it does; when the stock changes, you update the Q&A pair or the data point and every channel answers the new way. For anything you have not told it, you write the rule: say it will check and hand the thread to a person, or point the customer to the page of your site you allowed. It does not guess at stock it cannot see.

Does it book fittings and repairs, or send a booking link?

It books. Connect Square Appointments, Acuity Scheduling, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, Cal.com, Zoho Bookings or HubSpot Meetings and the agent is given your real open slots for the week ahead. It offers a few, and when the customer picks one, on the phone, in chat or in a DM, the choice is checked against the slots that were offered, written to the calendar and confirmed in the reply. It cannot book a time that was not free and cannot cancel an appointment it was not shown. A shop that takes fittings on Saturdays only puts Saturdays in the calendar and the agent offers Saturdays.

Can I run one agent for each of my stores?

Yes, and that is the usual shape. Unlimited agents are included in the plan, each with its own identity, number, hours, calendar, social accounts, knowledge base and analytics, and nothing is shared between them. The Manchester shop's agent gives Manchester's hours and books Manchester's fitting room; the Leeds one does the same for Leeds. Each has its own funnel, so a manager sees their store and the owner sees all of them. You can invite a manager into their shop's agent with a login that opens onto that agent's inbox and analytics and nothing else.

How do retail customer text campaigns handle opt-outs?

The controls are built into the text step. It carries the number it sends from, the texts-per-hour pace for that number, the TCPA consent tick with its sending window, and the Reply STOP line. A reply of STOP is honoured on every channel at once, the person is added to a suppression list skipped by every future send, and anything already queued to them is cancelled. Every campaign email carries a one-click unsubscribe with the same effect. Whether the list you upload was consented for marketing texts is your responsibility, as it would be with any SMS platform, and the record of every send and every opt-out is there to show.

Which channels can it answer for a shop?

Phone calls on your own Twilio number. Text messages on your own number through Twilio, Telnyx, SimpleTexting, Plivo, Vonage, Sinch, Bandwidth, MessageBird or ClickSend. Website chat through one line of script, in your colour with your greeting. Social DMs on Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X, each on your own app credentials. Email from any mailbox. Every conversation lands in one inbox tagged by channel, and every handle seen for a customer, the phone number, the Instagram account, the email, is merged into one record the agent reads before it replies.

What does an AI receptionist for retail do with a complaint?

Hands it to you. In the agent's instructions you name the situations it should not handle, a refund, a complaint about an alteration, a damaged item, a trade or wholesale enquiry, and when a message or a call matches, the thread lands in your inbox with the agent standing down on that conversation. You reply yourself, on the same channel, and hand the thread back when you are done. The agent then answers that customer's next ordinary question as normal. What it says before handing over is what you instructed, and every reply is stored with the material it used.

What do AI agents for retail stores cost for a small shop?

The plan is $25 a month or $200 a year for the whole account, with a 7-day free trial and unlimited agents, contacts and lists. There is no per-call, per-minute, per-message or per-seat charge. You pay your carrier for calls and texts on your own account and your AI provider for the model on your own key, one of sixteen supported, both at cost and typically a few dollars a month for a busy shop. A single shop pays the same as a group of twelve; the group simply runs twelve agents.

The same agent, in other industries

One subscription, unlimited agents. What changes is the knowledge base, the channels and the instructions.
