Bold Agent Kit vs GoHighLevel
for agencies that sell AI agents.

Bold Agent Kit vs GoHighLevel comes down to scope and price structure: GoHighLevel is an all-in-one agency platform sold by tier with usage billed on top, and Bold Agent Kit is one AI agent that answers and follows up on email, text, calls, website chat and eleven DM platforms, from one knowledge base per client. It is $25 a month for unlimited agents, runs on your own AI key and carrier at cost, and connects to GoHighLevel if you keep it.

Every channel wired into one agent and out to the tools behind it: email, SMS, phone, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Slack, Discord, X, Reddit, Bluesky, website chat, campaign sequences and follow-ups on one side; HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, HubSpot Meetings, Zoho Bookings, Acuity Scheduling, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace on the other.

One flat price, instead of a tier, a sub-account count and a wallet

GoHighLevel is sold to agencies by plan tier. At the time of writing, its published plans start at $97 a month for the Starter plan, which includes three sub-accounts; unlimited sub-accounts begin on the tier above, and SaaS Mode, with rebilling at a markup, sits on the Agency Pro plan above that. Its pricing page says usage-based charges apply for phone numbers, SMS, emails sent and premium AI usage, and its billing guide explains that those are drawn from an agency wallet that recharges the card on file when the balance runs low.

Bold Agent Kit is $25 a month or $200 a year for the whole account, with unlimited agents, contacts and lists and no sub-account count. Texts go out on the client's own carrier account, through Twilio, Telnyx or one of seven other providers, and calls run on Twilio, so the carrier bills that usage directly at its own rates rather than through us. The text step of a campaign carries the sending number, the texts-per-hour pace and the Reply STOP line, and a STOP on any channel ends every sequence to that person at once, including the messages already queued.

The text messages card in the campaign builder: which agent's number sends, texts per hour per number, a TCPA consent tick with the 9am to 8pm sending window and the Reply STOP line, and the opening text of the sequence.

The model on your own key, not an AI plan per location

GoHighLevel's AI suite, which it calls AI Employee, covers Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI, Content AI and more. Its help centre sets out three ways to pay for it: a monthly plan per enabled location in two sizes, one with monthly limits and one unlimited subject to fair use, or pay-per-use with no monthly fee, where usage is billed at token cost and Voice AI by the minute. For an agency, that is a decision to make for every client about which AI plan each location needs.

In Bold Agent Kit, each agent runs on an API key from one of sixteen providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, xAI, Mistral, DeepSeek, Groq, OpenRouter and more, or a model you host yourself. The provider bills the key holder directly at its own rates, usually a few dollars a month for a busy agent, and nothing is metered, marked up or sold as credits on our side. Put a client's agent on a key the client holds and their AI usage never touches your invoice. The agent answers from that client's knowledge base, links only to the pages you allowed, and stores every reply with the material it came from.

A website chat conversation in the Inbox: the visitor asks how much it is, the agent answers with the price and a link, the visitor's story is drawn across the top, and a reply box lets a person take the thread over.

One agent per client, and a login that opens onto it

GoHighLevel organises clients as sub-accounts inside an agency account, and its published plans include white-labelling of the desktop web app, custom domains for funnels and websites, and a white-label mobile app on the Enterprise plan or as an add-on. If your agency sells a platform under its own brand, that is what GoHighLevel is built to do.

Bold Agent Kit organises clients as agents. One account runs unlimited agents, each with its own knowledge base, channels, contacts and analytics, and content from one agent is never used to reply for another. Invite a client by email and their login opens onto the one agent you gave them: its inbox with every conversation on every channel, its numbers and mailboxes, its analytics, and a reply box to take a thread over and hand it back. They do not see the knowledge base, the instructions, your keys, your billing or any other client, because access is deny-by-default. It does not carry your logo or run on your domain, and we do not claim that it does.

The Inbox as one list: web chat, texts and calls together, a call marked no answer, a completed call that booked a roof inspection, texts confirming a Thursday appointment and asking the price, each row tagged with the channel it arrived on.

Fifteen channels, one knowledge base, one contact record

GoHighLevel covers SMS, email, calls, a chat widget and social messaging including Instagram DMs, Messenger and WhatsApp, alongside its broadcast campaigns and workflows. Bold Agent Kit is narrower in what it does and wide in where it answers: email through any mailbox, text on nine SMS providers, calls on Twilio, a website chat widget, and eleven DM platforms, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X, each connected with the client's own app credentials.

Every channel is answered by the same agent from the same material, so the answer on the phone and the answer in the Instagram DM are the same answer. The cookie from the website, the email address, the phone number and the social account id belonging to one person are merged into one contact, and the agent reads the whole history before it replies, so nobody is asked the same question twice. Replies go out inside each platform's own reply window and land in the same inbox as the email and the calls.

The agent's Social tab: Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X as a grid of platform cards, each connected with your own app credentials.

How Bold Agent Kit and GoHighLevel compare when the agent is what you sell

GoHighLevel is built as an all-in-one platform for agencies and the businesses they serve. On its own site it lists a CRM with pipelines and workflows, websites, funnels and landing pages, forms and surveys, appointment scheduling, SMS, email and calls, a chat widget and social messaging, reputation management with automated review requests, invoicing and payments, membership courses, an ad manager, an affiliate manager, a mobile app, and an AI suite it calls AI Employee. For an agency that wants to run a client's whole marketing operation from one login, that breadth is the point, and it is sold accordingly: at the time of writing, its published plans start at $97 a month, with three sub-accounts on Starter, unlimited sub-accounts on the higher tiers, and SaaS Mode on its Agency Pro plan.

Where the two part company is the job at the centre of the retainer. More and more agency retainers are for one thing: an AI agent that answers every enquiry in seconds, books the appointment and follows up until the customer says yes or no. On GoHighLevel, that job sits on top of the platform subscription. Its pricing page says usage-based charges apply for phone numbers, SMS, emails sent and premium AI usage, drawn from an agency wallet, and its AI Employee is priced per enabled location as a monthly plan, or pay-per-use at token cost. None of that is hidden; it is the model. It does mean that each client's cost moves with their usage and with the locations you switch the AI on for, and that the subscription includes a funnel builder, a course platform and an ad manager whether or not a given client needs them.

Bold Agent Kit is built the other way round. It is one agent type, and everything in the product exists to make that agent answer well, book reliably and follow up without being told. You build an agent per client, load its knowledge base from the client's own material, connect the client's mailbox, number, website chat and social accounts, and the agent answers on all of them from the same brain. It offers real open slots and books the one the customer picks. It runs multichannel campaigns across email, text and calls that stop on a reply, a booking or an opt-out on any channel. Every conversation lands in one inbox, and every client's agent has its own funnel. The plan is $25 a month or $200 a year for unlimited agents, and the AI runs on a key from one of sixteen providers, billed by that provider at cost.

It is also not always an either-or decision. GoHighLevel is one of the eighteen tools Bold Agent Kit connects to: with a client's GoHighLevel account connected, the agent books into its calendar, reads the contact before it replies, writes notes and outcomes back, and pulls a segment of contacts into a list for a campaign. So an agency can keep GoHighLevel for the funnels and the pipeline and put the agent on the conversations. What Bold Agent Kit does not do should be just as clear: it does not build funnels, websites or courses, it does not manage reviews or take payments, and it does not put your brand or your domain on the product. If those are what you sell, GoHighLevel is the better fit, and this page says so further down.

Why agencies selling AI agents start looking beyond GoHighLevel

None of these is a fault in GoHighLevel. Each follows from what it is, an all-in-one platform with tiered agency plans and usage billing, meeting an agency whose product has become a single AI agent.

01

The cost of a client moves with their usage

GoHighLevel's billing guide describes an agency wallet that funds phone, SMS, email and AI usage and recharges the card on file when it runs low, with rebilling to sub-accounts at cost on its Unlimited plan and with a markup on Agency Pro. So an agency either sets up rebilling for every client or absorbs a line that changes each month. Carrier and model costs exist on any platform, including this one. The difference is who bills them, and whether the software fee sits in the same pot.

02

The AI is a decision per location

GoHighLevel prices its AI Employee as a monthly plan per enabled location, in a size with monthly limits and a size that is unlimited subject to fair use, or as pay-per-use at token cost with Voice AI charged by the minute. An agency putting AI on thirty clients is making thirty decisions about which plan each location needs, and revisiting them when a client's volume changes. For an agency whose whole offer is the AI agent, that is the line that matters most.

03

The platform is broader than the job

Funnels, websites, membership courses, invoicing, an ad manager, an affiliate manager and reputation tools are real value for an agency that sells all of them. For a client who only wants every enquiry answered and followed up, most of that is surface they will not use, and each part is another thing to set up, keep tidy or explain when the client logs in. The agency ends up running a platform in order to deliver an agent.

04

The software cost steps up as you sign clients

GoHighLevel's Starter plan includes three sub-accounts. The fourth client moves an agency to the next tier, where sub-accounts are unlimited, and reselling usage at a margin through SaaS Mode moves it to the tier after that. That is a reasonable structure for a full platform. It does mean an agency's software bill is tied to its client count, which is the number an agency most wants to grow without thinking about.

One agent per client, on the client's own accounts, for one flat price

Bold Agent Kit does one job, the job most agency AI retainers are now sold on: answer every enquiry, book the appointment, follow up until there is an answer, and show the client what it produced.

01 / One per client

Unlimited agents, and nothing shared

Each client gets an agent of their own, with its own identity, instructions, knowledge base, channels, contacts and analytics. A knowledge base belongs to a single agent, and content from one agent is never used to generate a reply for another, so two competing roofers or two rival dental practices can sit on one account and neither will ever know. Add the fiftieth client the same way you added the first, with no change to the bill.

02 / One price

The software is flat; the usage is theirs, at cost

The plan is $25 a month or $200 a year for the account, with no per-seat, per-agent, per-channel or per-message charge. Each agent runs on an AI key from one of sixteen providers and texts and calls on a carrier account, and many agencies put both in the client's name, so the provider bills the client directly at its own rates. You charge what you like for the build and the retainer, and we take no percentage of it.

03 / One job

Answers, books and follows up, on every channel

The agent answers genuine incoming messages on email, text, calls, website chat and eleven DM platforms from the client's own material. It offers real open slots from the client's calendar or CRM, GoHighLevel included, and books the one the customer picks. It runs multichannel sequences that stop on a reply, a booking or an opt-out on any channel, and it hands the thread to a person when the instructions say it should.

Each client's agent runs on the client's own accounts

The biggest difference between Bold Agent Kit and GoHighLevel, for an agency, is where the usage lives. In Bold Agent Kit the agent sends from the client's own mailboxes, texts and calls on the client's own carrier account, and thinks on an AI key the client can hold. Gmail and Outlook connect with an app password and any other provider as an SMTP and IMAP host, so mail goes out through the client's own server rather than a shared relay, and every mailbox carries a health score out of 100, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC checked and warm-up on a ramp. A mailbox that starts bouncing is rested automatically before it damages the client's domain.

Because the carrier and the model provider bill the account holder directly, there is no wallet to fund and nothing to rebill. Your own cost is $25 a month, or $200 a year, however many clients you run, and it does not change in a busy month. What you charge each client for building the agent and keeping it sharp is entirely yours to decide. If a client leaves, their number, their mailbox and their AI account are already in their name.

An agent's Email tab with three mailboxes connected, each showing a Good 90 health score, warm-up day and inbox placement, SPF, DKIM and DMARC checks, and an Active toggle.

The four things an agency needs from the agent it sells

Each one answers a reason agencies look past an all-in-one platform, and each one runs without you remembering to do it for every client.

Margin

Your cost does not rise with each client

One plan, unlimited agents. The tenth client and the fiftieth cost you nothing more in software, and the usage is billed to whoever holds the carrier account and the AI key, at cost.

Speed

Every enquiry answered in seconds

An enquiry at 11pm is answered at 11pm, on the channel it arrived on, from the client's own material. A call is answered in real time on the client's number, on the provider's fastest model.

Persistence

Follow-up that runs to the end

Email on day 0, a text on day 2, a call on day 5, and on for as long as you set. It stops the moment the customer replies, books or opts out, on any channel, and cancels anything queued.

Proof

A funnel the client can read

Each agent has its own funnel, reached, replied, visited, converted and value won, and the client sees it through their own login. The renewal conversation starts with numbers, not adjectives.

And every client can see exactly what their agent produced

Every send, reply, call, visit, booking and sale is recorded against a person and reported as a funnel for each agent, and across all of them for you. For an agency, this is the page that renews the retainer.

The Bold Agent Kit dashboard: 157 people reached, 89 replied, 59 visited the site, 9 converted and $4,050 of value won over the last 30 days, with a breakdown by channel and by agent, and recent journeys underneath.

The funnel counts people rather than messages: how many the client's agent reached, how many replied, how many went on to visit the client's website, and how many converted, with the total value won and the median time from first contact to conversion. Goals carry a dollar value, set as a page rule or marked won by hand, so a reactivation campaign reports what it brought in rather than how many texts it sent. The client opens their login and sees their own agent's numbers; you see every agent side by side.

Below the funnel, a channel table shows where each person first made contact and which channel they were on when they converted, which is the question every client eventually asks. There is a table of the pages known people read before they bought, one row per person with their whole history in order, and visit triggers that close the loop: when a known lead returns to a page you named, the agent tells you or follows up after a delay on the channel they last used. Page goals and visit triggers need a one-line snippet on the client's site; conversations, bookings and a manual "won" work without it.

GoHighLevel is the broader product: if your agency sells websites, funnels, courses, reputation management and payments under its own brand, it covers ground Bold Agent Kit does not, and its plans include unlimited contacts and users. Bold Agent Kit is the narrower one, built only around the AI agent, at $25 a month or $200 a year for unlimited agents, with the AI on your own key and texts and calls on your own carrier, both billed at cost. Many agencies use both, with the agent connected to GoHighLevel. Check both pricing pages for current figures before you decide.

Three ways agencies weigh Bold Agent Kit against GoHighLevel

Some agencies move their AI work across, some keep GoHighLevel and connect the agent to it, and some are better served staying where they are. Here is how each looks.

An agency that sells the whole marketing stack should choose GoHighLevel. If your clients need websites, funnels and landing pages, membership courses, invoicing and payments, reputation management and pipelines in one place, and you want to resell that platform under your own brand with SaaS Mode and a white-labelled app and domain, GoHighLevel is built for exactly that, and Bold Agent Kit does none of it.

It books your calendar, updates your CRM and knows what they bought

Connect the tools you already run and the agent works them like an assistant would: it takes appointments straight into your calendar, writes notes and outcomes back to the CRM, and reads your store to see what somebody has bought before it answers them.

Bookings are real, not guesses. It is only ever given slots that are genuinely free, and it can only take one it actually offered — so it cannot invent a time or double-book you. The same connection pulls a segment of past customers into a list when you want to run a campaign at them.

None of it matters if the email lands in spam

A new address sending forty cold emails a day gets filtered, and takes the domain with it. Mailboxes that opt into warm-up send each other ordinary mail on a ramp, starting at five a day. The receiving mailbox finds each message, moves it out of spam if it landed there, marks it read and replies to a share of them.

Each mailbox carries a health score out of 100 — SPF, DKIM and DMARC on the sending domain, seven days of real sends and bounces, and where its own warm-up mail is landing — with the reasons listed. A mailbox whose bounce rate or spam placement passes a threshold is pulled out of campaign rotation automatically, before it damages the domain.

Moving a client from GoHighLevel, and nothing sends until you say so

Three steps per client. A campaign is created as a draft and shows the whole plan before it sends anything, and inbound answering can be switched on channel by channel with no campaign at all.

Rebuild the client's agent from what it already knows

Create an agent for the client, name it, choose a model and paste the API key, the client's or yours. Then load what the agent needs to answer the client's customers: their price list and service sheets as documents, their hours, service area and fees as data points, their answers to the questions they get every day as Q&A pairs, and the pages of their website it may link to, which it reads, stores and links verbatim. Much of this already exists in the scripts and snippets you wrote for the client in GoHighLevel.

Write the instructions last: how the agent should talk for this client, what it may offer, which questions it must ask before it books, and the exact situations in which it should stop and fetch a person. A complaint, a price negotiation and anything outside the client's service area are the usual three.

Connect the channels and, if you keep it, the GoHighLevel account

Add the client's mailbox, a number on their own carrier account for texts and calls, the chat snippet for their website and the social accounts their customers actually message. Each runs on the client's own account, so the rates and the sending reputation stay theirs, and so does everything else if they ever leave.

Then connect the calendar or CRM the agent should book into. If the client stays on GoHighLevel, connect it: the agent is given its open slots, reads the contact before it replies, writes bookings and notes back, and pulls a segment of contacts into a list when you want to run a campaign. If not, choose from the other seventeen, from HubSpot and Jobber to Google Calendar and Calendly.

Switch answering on, then hand the client their login

Switch auto-reply on for the channels you are ready to move, one at a time if you prefer, and the agent starts answering what already arrives. For reactivation and follow-up, build a campaign across email, text and calls, set the days, hours and time zone it may contact anyone, and read the whole plan on the review screen. Nothing leaves until you press Start.

Then invite the client by email. Their login opens onto their agent: the inbox, the numbers, the analytics and a reply box, and nothing of your account. Check the first week's conversations together, adjust the knowledge base where the agent handed over something it could have answered, and move the next client across.

One account, unlimited agents

One account runs unlimited agents, one per client, and nothing is shared between them. A knowledge base belongs to a single agent, and content from one agent is never used to generate replies for another.

Invite a client by email address and they get their own login, which opens onto the one agent you gave them: its conversations, its numbers, its analytics and a reply box. They cannot see your other clients, your API keys, your settings or your billing. Access is deny-by-default.

Is Bold Agent Kit better than GoHighLevel?

It depends on what your agency sells. If your retainers are for an AI agent that answers every enquiry on every channel and follows up until the customer books, buys or opts out, Bold Agent Kit is the better fit: unlimited agents and client logins for $25 a month, on your own AI key and carrier. If you sell websites, funnels, courses, reputation management and payments under your own brand, GoHighLevel is the better fit, because Bold Agent Kit does none of that. If you sell both, the two connect, and many agencies run the agent on top of GoHighLevel.

What is the difference between Bold Agent Kit and GoHighLevel?

Scope and price structure. GoHighLevel is an all-in-one platform for agencies, covering CRM, pipelines, workflows, funnels, websites, calendars, reputation, invoicing, memberships and an AI suite, sold on tiered agency plans with usage-based charges for phone numbers, SMS, email and premium AI, and its AI Employee priced per enabled location or pay-per-use. Bold Agent Kit is one thing: an AI agent across fifteen channels, with an inbox, multichannel campaigns and analytics, at a flat $25 a month for unlimited agents. The model runs on your own key and texts and calls on your own carrier account, each billed directly at cost.

How does Bold Agent Kit pricing compare with GoHighLevel pricing?

At the time of writing, GoHighLevel's published plans start at $97 a month, with three sub-accounts on Starter and unlimited sub-accounts on the higher tiers, plus usage-based charges for phone numbers, SMS, emails sent and premium AI; its AI Employee is a monthly plan per enabled location, or pay-per-use. Check its pricing page for current figures. Bold Agent Kit is $25 a month or $200 a year for the account, with a 7-day free trial, unlimited agents and no per-seat, per-agent or per-message charge. Your carrier and your AI provider bill you directly for usage, at cost.

How do I move a client from GoHighLevel to Bold Agent Kit?

One client at a time, and nothing has to be switched off first. Create an agent for the client and load its knowledge base from what they already use: price list, service sheets, the answers they give every day. Connect their GoHighLevel account and pull a segment of contacts straight into a list, or upload a CSV. Connect their mailbox, a number on their own carrier account and the chat snippet, switch auto-reply on channel by channel, and invite the client into their agent. Workflows and funnels are not imported; the agent takes over the conversations, not the website.

When is GoHighLevel the better choice?

When you sell the whole marketing stack rather than the agent. If your clients need websites, funnels, landing pages, membership courses, invoicing and payments, reputation management and pipelines in one place, GoHighLevel is built for that and Bold Agent Kit does none of it. It is also the better fit if you want a platform under your own brand: its published plans include a white-labelled desktop web app, custom domains, a white-label mobile app on Enterprise or as an add-on, and SaaS Mode for reselling with a markup. Its plans also include unlimited contacts and users.

Can I use Bold Agent Kit and GoHighLevel together?

Yes. GoHighLevel is one of the eighteen tools the agent connects to. With a client's GoHighLevel account connected, the agent is given the open slots in its calendar and books the one the customer picks, reads the contact before it replies, and writes bookings, cancellations and notes back against that contact. You can also pull a segment of GoHighLevel contacts into a list and run a campaign across email, text and calls at it. GoHighLevel keeps the funnels, the pipeline and the website; the agent takes the conversations on every channel.

Is Bold Agent Kit white label like GoHighLevel?

Not in the same sense, and we would rather say so plainly. Your client gets their own login onto a dashboard for the one agent you gave them, with its inbox, numbers and analytics, and nothing about the builder, your other clients, your keys or your billing is visible to them. It does not put your logo on the product or run on your own domain. GoHighLevel's published plans include a white-labelled desktop web app and custom domains, so if a fully branded platform is part of what you sell, that is a real difference to weigh.

Whose AI key and phone number does each client's agent use?

Whichever you choose. Each agent has its own key, from one of sixteen providers, and many agencies put it on a key the client holds so the model usage is billed to the client directly, usually a few dollars a month for a busy agent. Texts and calls work the same way: connect the client's own account with Twilio or another of the nine SMS providers and the carrier bills them. Keys are stored encrypted and sent nowhere but the provider. Your cost stays $25 a month however many clients you add, and we take no percentage of what you charge.
