Bold Agent Kit vs Synthflow
a flat plan, or a scoped contract.

Bold Agent Kit vs Synthflow comes down to scope and price structure. Synthflow is an enterprise voice AI platform sold on a scoped contract; Bold Agent Kit is one AI agent that answers and places calls on your own Twilio number and works email, text, website chat and social DMs from the same knowledge base, for $25 a month with no per-minute charge from us. Here is how the two compare, and when each one fits.

Every channel wired into one agent and out to the tools behind it: email, SMS, phone, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Slack, Discord, X, Reddit, Bluesky, website chat, campaign sequences and follow-ups on one side; HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, HubSpot Meetings, Zoho Bookings, Acuity Scheduling, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace on the other.

Calls on your own number, answered and dialled by one agent

Synthflow is built around the phone. Its site describes AI voice agents for automated phone calls, its own telephony, and the option to bring your own Twilio account or connect an existing phone system over SIP. Bold Agent Kit covers the same core job for a smaller operation: calls run on your own Twilio number, with a separate switch for answering and for dialling, so an agent can pick up every inbound call without ever placing one, or work a call list without ever picking up.

The agent hears and speaks in real time, and on a call it switches to the fastest model your AI provider offers so it does not leave silences. Transcription comes from Google, or from Deepgram on your own key, and the voice from Google, Amazon Polly or ElevenLabs, or from your own ElevenLabs or Fish Audio account, including a voice you recorded in the browser and cloned. Every call ends with the recording and the transcript in your inbox, tagged as a call, on the caller's contact record next to their texts, emails and chats.

The Inbox as one list: web chat, texts and calls together, a call marked no answer, a completed call that booked a roof inspection, texts confirming a Thursday appointment and asking the price, each row tagged with the channel it arrived on.

The same agent on email, text, website chat and eleven DM platforms

Synthflow's documentation describes chat agents launched through an API, an embeddable website widget, WhatsApp and SMS, with WhatsApp and SMS available to US-region workspaces through Twilio. Bold Agent Kit is built the other way round: the phone is one channel of five. One agent works email from as many mailboxes as you connect, text messages through Twilio, Telnyx, SimpleTexting, Plivo, Vonage, Sinch, Bandwidth, MessageBird or ClickSend, calls on Twilio, a chat widget on your site, and Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X.

Every one of those channels answers from the same knowledge base, with the same instructions, so the price it gives on a call is the price it gives in an Instagram DM. Every handle seen for a person, an email address, a phone number, a browser cookie, a social account id, is attached to one contact record, and when two records turn out to be the same person they merge and the history moves across. Auto-reply is a separate switch per channel, so you can start on the phone and add the rest later.

The agent's Social tab: Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X as a grid of platform cards, each connected with your own app credentials.

Email, text and call steps in one campaign, reviewed before it starts

Most small businesses need an agent that follows up as much as one that answers: the quote that went quiet, the no-show, the customer who has not booked in a year. A campaign here sends an email on day 0, a text on day 2 and places a call on day 5, each step with its own delay and send condition, so the call goes only to the people who did not open the email, or only to the ones who did. The days, hours and time zone anything may go out are set once, with an hourly pace per mailbox and per number.

The campaign is created as a draft, shows its whole plan on a review screen, every contact and every step, and sends nothing until you press Start. A reply, a booking or an opt-out on any channel ends the sequence on every channel, and anything already queued to that person, the text or the call, is cancelled. Every campaign email carries a one-click unsubscribe, and a reply of STOP to a text is honoured everywhere at once.

The text messages card in the campaign builder: which agent's number sends, texts per hour per number, a TCPA consent tick with the 9am to 8pm sending window and the Reply STOP line, and the opening text of the sequence.

One flat plan, with the AI and the carrier billed to you at cost

At the time of writing, Synthflow's pricing page says its enterprise contracts start at $30,000 a year, with the final figure scoped around call volume, concurrency, telephony setup, integrations, security needs and launch support, and its billing documentation describes the pricing as sales-led. Its usage documentation says phone calls are measured per second and reported as billable minutes, and that chat is converted into usage minutes, at the rate set in your agreement.

Bold Agent Kit is $25 a month or $200 a year for the whole account, with unlimited agents, every channel and a 7-day free trial you start on your own. Twilio bills you for the number and the minutes at its rates, and your AI provider bills you for the model at theirs, both at cost. There is no per-minute, per-message or per-seat charge from us, and the dashboard counts people rather than minutes: how many the agent reached, how many replied, how many booked or converted, and the value won.

The Bold Agent Kit dashboard: 157 people reached, 89 replied, 59 visited the site, 9 converted and $4,050 of value won over the last 30 days, with a breakdown by channel and by agent, and recent journeys underneath.

How Bold Agent Kit and Synthflow compare

Synthflow presents itself as an enterprise voice AI platform. Its site speaks to BPOs and call centres, healthcare, financial services and insurance, retail, real estate and telecom, and the product is built around that buyer: a visual flow designer, a test centre, real-time monitoring, its own telephony alongside SIP and contact-centre integrations, call transfers, an API and webhooks, and a pricing page that, at the time of writing, lists enterprise contracts starting at $30,000 a year, scoped with its sales team. For an organisation running a large voice operation, that is a coherent offer.

Many of the businesses comparing the two are not that organisation. They are a clinic, a trades business, a small firm or an agency with a handful of clients, who want an AI agent that answers the phone and books the appointment, and who would rather not scope a contract to get one. Many of them also want the same agent on the website chat, in the DMs and in the email inbox, and a way to follow up on the people who rang once and did not book. For them the question is less "which voice platform?" than "which agent covers the whole front door?".

Bold Agent Kit is built for them. One agent, built from your own material, answers and places calls on your own Twilio number, texts on nine carriers, works email from your own mailboxes, answers a chat widget on your site and eleven DM platforms, and runs campaigns that mix email, text and call steps. It books real slots on eight calendars and reads the CRM, job software or store you connect. Everything lands in one inbox, against one contact record, with every call kept as a recording and a transcript.

It is priced like a tool a small business buys on a card: $25 a month or $200 a year for the whole account, unlimited agents, a 7-day free trial, and nothing held back behind a sales call. The AI runs on your own key with one of sixteen providers, and your carrier and AI provider bill you at cost. There is no per-minute charge from us, so a busy month costs the same as a quiet one. Where Synthflow is the better fit, and there are cases where it is, this page says so.

Where Synthflow and a small business part ways

Synthflow is built for enterprise voice operations, and it says so. These are the four places a smaller customer usually feels that, and all of them are about scope and price structure rather than the calls themselves.

01

The pricing is a contract, not a plan

At the time of writing, Synthflow's pricing page lists enterprise contracts that start at $30,000 a year, with the final figure scoped around call volume, concurrency, telephony, integrations, security and launch support, and its billing docs describe the pricing as sales-led. A business that wants to try an AI receptionist next week, on a card, is looking at a different kind of purchase.

02

Usage is counted in minutes

Synthflow's documentation says phone calls are measured per second and reported as billable minutes, and that chat is converted into usage minutes, at the rate in your agreement. That is a sensible model for a contact centre forecasting its volume. For a small business it means the cost of the phone line moves with every busy week, and the busiest week is the one it most needed answering.

03

The phone is the centre of it

Synthflow is built around voice, with chat agents on a widget, WhatsApp and SMS alongside. A small business also lives in its email inbox, its Instagram and Messenger DMs and its follow-up list, and wants one agent across all of them, with one record per customer, so the person who rang on Monday and messaged on Wednesday is recognised as one person.

04

Follow-up needs more than a call

Following up on quotes, reactivating past customers and chasing no-shows usually takes an email, then a text, then a call, each inside allowed hours and each cancelled when the person replies or books. That is a campaign across channels, with a schedule, a pace and stop rules, and it is the part of the job Bold Agent Kit was built around.

One agent. Every channel. One flat plan.

Bold Agent Kit takes the part of Synthflow a small business actually needs, an AI agent that answers and places calls, puts it on the same agent as every other channel, and prices it so you can start today.

01 / Answers

On your own number, from your own material

It picks up on your own Twilio number in real time and answers from the knowledge base you gave it: documents, Q&A pairs, data points for hours and prices, and the pages of your own site it may link to. It says what you wrote and nothing else. When a caller wants to book, it offers real open slots from your connected calendar and writes in the one they pick before the call ends.

02 / Follows up

Across every channel, then stops

Campaigns mix email, text and call steps, each with its own timing and condition, inside the days and hours you set. The same agent answers the replies from the same knowledge base. A reply, a booking or an opt-out anywhere ends the sequence on every channel, and anything queued to that person is cancelled, so nobody is rung the day after they booked by text.

03 / Costs

A flat plan on your own keys

$25 a month or $200 a year for the account, unlimited agents, and a 7-day free trial you start without speaking to anyone. The model runs on your own key with one of sixteen providers, the calls on your own Twilio account, and both bill you directly at cost. A month with three times the calls costs the same $25 from us.

One agent on every channel, on a plan you can start today

The biggest difference between Bold Agent Kit and Synthflow is not the call itself. It is what sits around the call and how you buy it. Synthflow is built for enterprise voice operations and sold on a scoped contract. Bold Agent Kit is built for a business, or an agency with clients, that wants one agent across the phone, the email inbox, the website and the DMs, and wants to start it this afternoon on a card, with the calls on its own Twilio number and the model on its own key.

In practice that means the call from Tuesday, the text on Wednesday, the Instagram DM on Thursday and the booking on Friday sit on one row, in one inbox, newest first, tagged by channel. Filter it to one number, one mailbox or one agent. Reply in any thread yourself and the agent stands down on it; hand it back when you are done. The funnel then reports what all of those conversations produced, per person, across every channel at once.

The Inbox as one list: web chat, texts and calls together, a call marked no answer, a completed call that booked a roof inspection, texts confirming a Thursday appointment and asking the price, each row tagged with the channel it arrived on.

What changes when you move from Synthflow to Bold Agent Kit

Four differences you notice in the first week. Each is a matter of scope or price structure, and each runs without anybody having to remember it.

Buying

A trial, not a scoping call

Sign up, add your number and your key, and ring your own agent the same afternoon. The plan is one price, shown on the page, with nothing held back behind an enterprise conversation.

Channels

One agent everywhere

Calls, texts, email, the website chat and eleven DM platforms, from one knowledge base, with one contact record per person across all of them and one inbox to read.

Follow-up

Campaigns that stop themselves

Email, text and call steps in one sequence, inside the hours you set, ended on every channel by a reply, a booking or an opt-out, with anything queued cancelled.

Cost

Flat, whatever the volume

No per-minute charge from us. Twilio and your AI provider bill you at cost, so the bill for the software does not move with a busy month or a big campaign.

And you can see what it brought in, not how many minutes it used

Every call, text, email, chat and booking is recorded against a person and reported per agent and across all agents. For anyone coming from a platform where usage is counted in minutes, this is the part that changes the question from "how much did we use?" to "what did it produce?".

The Bold Agent Kit dashboard: 157 people reached, 89 replied, 59 visited the site, 9 converted and $4,050 of value won over the last 30 days, with a breakdown by channel and by agent, and recent journeys underneath.

The funnel counts people: how many the agent reached, how many replied on any channel, how many went on to visit your site, and how many booked or converted, with the value won and the median time from first contact to conversion. A goal with a dollar value attached, a booked appointment marked won, turns the phone line into a number you can put next to the $25 a month it costs.

Below the funnel, a channel table shows where each person first made contact and which channel they were on when they converted, so you learn whether the phone closes or whether the DM before it did the work. A pages report shows which pages of your site known people read and how many of them converted. One row per person shows every call with its recording, every text, email and booking in order, and visit triggers close the loop: when a known caller opens your pricing page and leaves, the agent can follow up after a delay on the channel they last used.

Every event for one person

Built from the cookie, email address and phone number attached to that contact, so activity months apart on different channels appears on one row.

A journey row for one contact: their address, then every email reply in order along a single line, with earlier events folded up behind a +5.
Visit triggers

Follow up on a return visit

Page goals and visit triggers require a one-line snippet on your website. Conversations, bookings and manually marking a deal won work without it.

A saved visit trigger: when a lead visits /thank-you, email me after 20 minutes, once per 7 days, with a fired count and an on switch.

Synthflow is an enterprise voice AI platform with its own telephony, contact-centre integrations, call transfers, an API and a sales-led contract, and for a large voice operation that is what it is built to do. Bold Agent Kit is a single agent for calls, texts, email, website chat and DMs, priced at $25 a month or $200 a year for the account, with your carrier and AI provider billing you at cost. If the phone is the whole job and a contract suits your volume, Synthflow is built for you; if you want one agent across every channel on a plan you can start today, Bold Agent Kit is.

We checked Synthflow’s public website on 11 September 2026 for this comparison. Plans and features change, so check synthflow.ai for the current detail. Synthflow is a trademark of its owner, and Bold Agent Kit is not affiliated with or endorsed by it.

Moving from Synthflow, starting instead of it, or staying

Three situations people are usually in when they compare the two. Bold Agent Kit covers the first two; the third is where Synthflow is the better fit, and it is worth being plain about it.

You run a Synthflow agent on a phone line and want the same job done on a flat plan, with email, texts and DMs added. Moving means rebuilding the agent here from what it already knows: its greeting, its answers, its booking rules and its call script, written into a knowledge base, a saved template and a set of instructions. If the number sits in your own Twilio account, it stays yours. Your contacts come across as a CSV or as a segment from the CRM you connect.

You looked at Synthflow for an AI receptionist or a follow-up line and found an enterprise contract rather than a plan. Start here instead: build one agent from the material you already have, connect a Twilio number and a calendar, and ring it yourself the same afternoon. Add the email inbox, the website chat and the DMs when you are ready, on the same agent and the same plan, and build a campaign when there is a list worth following up.

It books your calendar, updates your CRM and knows what they bought

Connect the tools you already run and the agent works them like an assistant would: it takes appointments straight into your calendar, writes notes and outcomes back to the CRM, and reads your store to see what somebody has bought before it answers them.

Bookings are real, not guesses. It is only ever given slots that are genuinely free, and it can only take one it actually offered — so it cannot invent a time or double-book you. The same connection pulls a segment of past customers into a list when you want to run a campaign at them.

Powered by your own keys

Each agent uses a model on your own API key, in the same way it sends from your own mailbox and your own phone number. Sixteen providers are supported: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, xAI and Mistral; DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, Qwen and MiniMax; Groq, Together, Fireworks and OpenRouter; and Ollama or any other OpenAI-compatible endpoint you host yourself.

Bring your own credentials and you own the whole stack: your model provider, your mailboxes, your carrier, your CRM. We charge for the software and nothing else — no token markup, no metering, no credit packs — so your provider bills you direct at their rates, usually a few dollars a month per agent.

None of it matters if the email lands in spam

A new address sending forty cold emails a day gets filtered, and takes the domain with it. Mailboxes that opt into warm-up send each other ordinary mail on a ramp, starting at five a day. The receiving mailbox finds each message, moves it out of spam if it landed there, marks it read and replies to a share of them.

Each mailbox carries a health score out of 100 — SPF, DKIM and DMARC on the sending domain, seven days of real sends and bounces, and where its own warm-up mail is landing — with the reasons listed. A mailbox whose bounce rate or spam placement passes a threshold is pulled out of campaign rotation automatically, before it damages the domain.

Moving from Synthflow, in an afternoon

Three steps. Nothing about your current line has to change until the day you move it: build and test here first, on a second number if you like, with answering and dialling as separate switches.

Rebuild the agent from what your Synthflow agent knows

Name the agent, choose a model and paste your API key; on calls it switches to that provider's fastest model on its own. Then write down what your current agent knows. The greeting and the call script become a saved template. The answers it gives become Q&A pairs. Hours, prices, lead times and service areas become data points, and your policies go in as documents. Add the pages of your own site it may send people to.

Choose the voice: Google, Amazon Polly or ElevenLabs, or connect your own ElevenLabs or Fish Audio account and pick from your library, including a voice you cloned. Write the instructions last: how it greets people, what it may offer, and the situations in which it should take details and fetch you. There is no live transfer to fall back on, so name those situations plainly.

Call scriptsaved as a template, reused
Q&A pairsthe answers your agent already gives

Connect the number, the calendar and the other channels

Add your Twilio account for calls. If your number already lives in your own Twilio account, it is yours to point wherever you choose; until the day you move the line, test on a second number with answering switched on and leave the main line where it is. Texts can run on the same number, or on one of eight other carriers if you keep them elsewhere.

Connect the calendar it books into and the CRM or job software it should read before it answers: HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan and the rest. Then add the mailboxes, the chat snippet and the social accounts you want the same agent on, and import your contacts as a CSV or as a segment from the connected CRM.

Ring it, read the transcript, then move the line

Ring the agent yourself. Ask it what your current agent gets asked, ask it for a slot on Thursday afternoon, and read the transcript in the inbox a minute later. Adjust a data point or an instruction and ring again. When it answers the way you want, switch answering on for the main line.

Then build the first campaign if you want one: the quotes that went quiet, the customers who have not booked in a year. It is created as a draft, shows the whole plan, and sends nothing until you press Start. Step into any thread yourself and the agent stands down; hand it back when you are done.

One account, unlimited agents

One account runs unlimited agents, one per client, and nothing is shared between them. A knowledge base belongs to a single agent, and content from one agent is never used to generate replies for another.

Invite a client by email address and they get their own login, which opens onto the one agent you gave them: its conversations, its numbers, its analytics and a reply box. They cannot see your other clients, your API keys, your settings or your billing. Access is deny-by-default.

Is Bold Agent Kit better than Synthflow?

It depends on the buyer. For a small business, a clinic, a trades firm or an agency with local clients that wants one agent answering calls, texts, email, website chat and DMs, booking real slots and following up, Bold Agent Kit is the closer fit: $25 a month, a 7-day free trial, and your own Twilio number and AI key. For an enterprise running a large voice operation that needs live call transfers, contact-centre integrations, an API and a scoped contract, Synthflow is built for that and Bold Agent Kit is not. Neither is better in general; they are built for different jobs.

What is the difference between Bold Agent Kit and Synthflow?

Scope and price structure. Synthflow is built around voice for enterprise operations: its own telephony, SIP and contact-centre integrations, warm and cold call transfers, an API and webhooks, and a sales-led contract with usage counted in minutes. Bold Agent Kit is built around one agent for a business across five channels, calls, texts, email, website chat and social DMs, with multichannel campaigns, one inbox, a funnel of people and eighteen built-in integrations. It costs $25 a month for the account, with the AI on your own key and the calls on your own Twilio number, both billed to you at cost.

How does Synthflow pricing compare with Bold Agent Kit?

They are priced on different models. At the time of writing, Synthflow's pricing page says its enterprise contracts start at $30,000 a year, scoped around call volume, concurrency, telephony, integrations, security and launch support, and its documentation describes usage measured in minutes at the rate in your agreement. Bold Agent Kit is $25 a month or $200 a year for the whole account, with unlimited agents and a 7-day free trial. Twilio bills you for the minutes and your AI provider for the model, both at cost. We charge nothing per minute, per message or per seat.

How do I move my agent from Synthflow to Bold Agent Kit?

You rebuild it rather than import it. Write the greeting and the call script as a saved template, the answers your agent gives as Q&A pairs, and your hours, prices and lead times as data points, then add your policies as documents. Connect your Twilio number, your calendar and your CRM, and import contacts as a CSV or as a segment from HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Jobber or another connected CRM. Test on a second number first, then switch answering on for the main line when the transcripts read the way you want. Most of the work is writing down what your agent already says.

When is Synthflow the better choice?

When the job is a large voice operation rather than a business's whole front door. If you need live calls transferred to people or SIP destinations, which Synthflow documents and Bold Agent Kit does not do, if your agents must plug into a contact-centre platform such as Genesys or Five9, if you plan to build your own product on an API and webhooks, or if you are an agency that wants subaccounts with custom domains and rebilling, Synthflow's scope fits better. Bold Agent Kit is the better fit when you want one agent across every channel on a flat plan.

Can I keep my phone number if I switch?

Calls on Bold Agent Kit run on a number in your own Twilio account. If your number is already in a Twilio account you hold, it stays yours: add the account here, test on a second number, and switch answering on for the main line on the day you move it. If the number is held somewhere else, you would first move it into a Twilio account of your own through Twilio's porting process. Either way the number, the caller ID and the minutes belong to you, and Twilio bills you at its own rates, with nothing added by us.

Can Bold Agent Kit transfer a call to a person, as Synthflow can?

No. Synthflow's documentation describes warm and cold transfers to phone numbers and SIP destinations; Bold Agent Kit cannot put a live call through to another number. What it does instead is take the caller's name, number and reason for calling, tell them what happens next, and put the recording and transcript in your inbox with those details, tagged as a call. You name in its instructions which callers get that treatment, an emergency, a complaint, an existing job, and the same number can text them back, with you replying in the thread yourself.

Does it work for agencies with several clients?

Yes, on the one plan. Build one agent per client, each with its own number, voice, knowledge base, calendar and instructions, and nothing shared between them; unlimited agents are included. Invite a client into their own agent with their own login and they see its inbox, recordings and analytics, not your other clients, keys or billing. It does not put your logo on the product or run on your own domain; Synthflow documents custom domains and rebilling if that is what you need. Your cost stays $25 a month however many clients you add.
