Bold Agent Kit vs My AI Front Desk
Flat fee, or minutes and credits.

Bold Agent Kit vs My AI Front Desk is a close comparison: both put one AI across calls, texts and chat. My AI Front Desk, which its site now calls Frontdesk, sells that in plans with monthly allowances of voice minutes, chats and texts, topped up with credits. Bold Agent Kit is one AI agent across calls, texts, email, website chat and DMs, on your own carrier and your own AI key, for $25 a month with no allowance from us to run out of.

Every channel wired into one agent and out to the tools behind it: email, SMS, phone, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Slack, Discord, X, Reddit, Bluesky, website chat, campaign sequences and follow-ups on one side; HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, HubSpot Meetings, Zoho Bookings, Acuity Scheduling, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace on the other.

Software at a flat price, and usage at cost

My AI Front Desk sells plans with included usage. It offers a 7-day free trial, and at the time of writing its published plans start at $99 a month, or $79 a month billed annually. That plan includes 200 voice minutes, 100 chatbot conversations and 400 text messages a month, among other allowances, and usage beyond them is drawn from a pool of credits at a set number of credits per minute, per message and per conversation, with an auto-reload option. Its Partner and Enterprise plans are priced to volume.

Bold Agent Kit does not sell usage. The plan is $25 a month or $200 a year for the account, with a 7-day free trial and no per-minute, per-message, per-conversation or per-seat charge from us. Calls and texts run on your own carrier account and the model on your own AI key, and those providers bill their usage to you directly at cost. There is no allowance to watch and no credit pool to top up; a busy month changes your carrier's and AI provider's bills, not ours.

The Bold Agent Kit dashboard: 157 people reached, 89 replied, 59 visited the site, 9 converted and $4,050 of value won over the last 30 days, with a breakdown by channel and by agent, and recent journeys underneath.

Real-time answering on your Twilio number, in a voice you chose

My AI Front Desk's receptionist answers calls, qualifies the caller, books appointments on your calendar, transfers urgent or VIP callers to your team, and records, transcribes and summarises every call. You forward your existing number to it, and its site says it speaks more than 20 languages and handles concurrent calls.

Bold Agent Kit answers on a number in your own Twilio account, with separate switches for answering and dialling. It hears and speaks in real time, using the fastest model your provider offers on a call, with transcription by Google or Deepgram and a voice from Google, Amazon Polly or ElevenLabs, or one you cloned from a recording on your own ElevenLabs or Fish Audio key. It books real open slots into your calendar on the call.

It cannot transfer a live call. For the callers you name in its instructions, it takes their details and puts the recording and transcript in your inbox, tagged as a call, on the caller's contact record, where you can reply by text from the same number.

The Inbox as one list: web chat, texts and calls together, a call marked no answer, a completed call that booked a roof inspection, texts confirming a Thursday appointment and asking the price, each row tagged with the channel it arrived on.

Your own mailboxes, with warm-up and health checks

My AI Front Desk includes an AI email agent that replies to inbound email and form submissions with the same context as its call agent, and writes emails as part of its follow-ups and sequences, with a monthly allowance of email drafts on its Business plan.

Bold Agent Kit works email through your own mailboxes. Connect Gmail or Outlook with an app password, or any other provider as an SMTP and IMAP host, and an agent can hold as many mailboxes as you connect, rotated by campaigns. Mail goes through your own server, so the sending reputation stays on your domain. Warm-up ramps each mailbox, a health score checks SPF, DKIM, DMARC, bounce rate and inbox placement with reasons, and a failing address is rested automatically. Replies come back over IMAP and are answered from the address they arrived at.

An agent's Email tab with three mailboxes connected, each showing a Good 90 health score, warm-up day and inbox placement, SPF, DKIM and DMARC checks, and an Active toggle.

Website chat and eleven DM platforms, from one knowledge base

My AI Front Desk covers voice, SMS, WhatsApp, email and web chat, and its SMS agent page says it also works across Instagram, Facebook and Google messages, with one shared memory per customer across channels.

Bold Agent Kit connects Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X, each with your own app credentials, plus a chat widget on your site from one line of script, in your colour with your image and greeting. Replies go out inside each platform's reply window, every conversation lands in the same inbox as calls and email, and every handle seen for a person, browser cookie, email address, phone number or social account, is attached to one contact record.

The agent's Social tab: Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X as a grid of platform cards, each connected with your own app credentials.

How Bold Agent Kit and My AI Front Desk compare, where they overlap and where they part

My AI Front Desk, whose site now presents it as Frontdesk, describes itself as an AI customer platform: a phone receptionist, a web chatbot, SMS and email agents, a built-in CRM, ticketing, a calendar, outbound calls and automation sequences, sold together. Its receptionist answers calls, qualifies the caller, books on your calendar and warm-transfers urgent callers, and its site says it speaks more than 20 languages. Of the AI receptionists, it is one of the closest in scope to Bold Agent Kit, which is why the comparison is worth doing carefully.

Where the two part is the model. My AI Front Desk prices by plan with included usage: a set number of voice minutes, chatbot conversations, texts, form submissions and email drafts each month, with credits drawn for anything beyond. It brings its own CRM, and sets some limits by plan, such as editor seats, knowledge base pages and how many interaction logs you can look back on. Bold Agent Kit sells the software alone and leaves the usage on accounts you hold.

In Bold Agent Kit you build an agent, give it your hours, prices and services as its knowledge base, and connect your own Twilio number, your mailboxes, your website, your social accounts and the calendar and CRM you already run. It answers calls in real time and books the slot the caller picks, answers texts, email, chat and DMs from the same material, and runs follow-up campaigns that stop the moment someone replies, books or opts out. The model runs on your own key with one of sixteen providers, and the voice on Google, Amazon Polly, ElevenLabs or your own cloned voice.

The trade-offs are real. Bold Agent Kit cannot transfer a live call; it takes the caller's details and puts the transcript in your inbox. It does not try to be your CRM, connecting instead to HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan and Jobber. It gives clients a login onto their agent but no white-label branding or custom domain. And you hold your own carrier account and AI key. If those suit you, it is a straightforward alternative at $25 a month for the account, with nothing metered by us.

Where a plan with allowances stops fitting

None of these is a fault in My AI Front Desk, and all of them are published openly on its pricing page. They follow from a model built on included usage, and each one is a reason a business might look at something else.

01

The busiest months draw on credits

My AI Front Desk's Business plan includes 200 voice minutes a month, alongside set numbers of chatbot conversations, texts and form submissions. Beyond those, usage is drawn from a pool of credits, at 25 credits a voice minute on that plan, with an option to auto-reload. It is a transparent model, and it means the months when the phone rings most are the months that draw on credits.

02

Outbound calls have a daily cap

On the Business plan, outbound calls are listed at 20 a day, which the pricing page describes as a hard daily cap. A business that wants to call back every enquiry from a busy weekend, or run a reminder round for next week's appointments, works within that figure or moves to a custom plan.

03

Seats, knowledge and history are set by plan

The Business plan includes 2 editor seats, 20 knowledge base pages and the last 200 interaction logs, with more on custom plans. For many small businesses that is enough. For one that writes a lot of material, has several people changing the agent, or wants to look back over months of conversations, the plan sets the ceiling.

04

Several meters to watch

Voice minutes, chatbot conversations, texts, form submissions, email drafts and outbound calls each have their own monthly or daily figure on the Business plan, and credits are drawn at a different rate for each. None of that is hidden. It does mean that knowing what next month will cost involves watching several allowances rather than one number.

One agent on every channel, and nothing metered by us

You build the agent once, from the material your front desk already uses. From then on it answers every channel you connect, books into your calendar, follows up on a schedule, and runs on accounts you hold.

01 / Answers

Every channel, one knowledge base

Calls on your own Twilio number in real time, texts on the same number, email through your own mailboxes, a chat widget on your site and DMs on eleven platforms, all answered from the same documents, Q&A pairs, data points and pages of your own site. Every conversation lands in one inbox, and every handle seen for a person is attached to one contact.

02 / Books

A real slot, checked and written

Connected to one of eight calendars, it is given the slots that are genuinely free, offers a few and books the one the customer picks, on a call, by text, in the chat or in a DM. The choice is checked against what was offered and written to the calendar. It cannot double-book you, invent a time or cancel an appointment it was not shown.

03 / Follows up

Campaigns you review before they start

Email, text and call steps in one campaign, each with its own delay and send condition, inside the days, hours and time zone you allow. A reply, a booking or an opt-out on any channel ends the sequence on all of them. The campaign is created as a draft, shows its whole plan on a review screen, and sends nothing until you press Start.

Nothing to run out of, because you hold the accounts

The biggest difference between Bold Agent Kit and My AI Front Desk is where the usage sits. My AI Front Desk sells it: minutes, chats, texts and credits are part of the plan. Bold Agent Kit leaves it with you. Calls run on your own Twilio number, texts on Twilio or one of eight other carriers, and the model on your own key with one of sixteen providers, from OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini to Groq, OpenRouter or a model you host yourself on Ollama. Each bills you directly at its own rates.

What we charge for is the software, at $25 a month for the account. Nothing is metered, marked up or sold as credits on our side. Instead, the text step of a campaign carries the controls that matter: which agent's number sends, how many texts an hour that number may send, the consent tick and sending window, and the Reply STOP line. You can change provider or model at any time without touching anything else.

The text messages card in the campaign builder: which agent's number sends, texts per hour per number, a TCPA consent tick with the 9am to 8pm sending window and the Reply STOP line, and the opening text of the sequence.

What changes when the usage is on your own accounts

Each of these follows from the differences above. Whether they outweigh having usage bundled into one plan is yours to judge.

Reporting built around the person and the outcome

My AI Front Desk turns each conversation into structured fields, such as intent, timing and sentiment, and reports on them in its dashboards. Bold Agent Kit's reporting is built around the person and the outcome: who was reached, who replied, who booked, and what it was worth, on every channel.

The Bold Agent Kit dashboard: 157 people reached, 89 replied, 59 visited the site, 9 converted and $4,050 of value won over the last 30 days, with a breakdown by channel and by agent, and recent journeys underneath.

The funnel counts people rather than minutes or messages: how many the agent reached, how many replied on any channel, how many went on to visit your site, and how many booked or converted, with the value won and the median time from first contact to conversion. Goals carry a dollar value, a page rule or a manual "won", so a campaign reports what it brought in rather than how much usage it consumed.

A channel table shows where each person first made contact and which channel they were on when they converted, and a pages view shows which pages known people read and how many of them went on to convert. One row per person shows every call, text, email, chat, visit and booking in order, with recordings, and open and click tracking is added to that history. Visit triggers close the loop: when a known person returns to a page, the agent can tell you or follow up.

Built from the cookie, email address and phone number attached to that contact, so activity months apart on different channels appears on one row.

A journey row for one contact: their address, then every email reply in order along a single line, with earlier events folded up behind a +5.
Visit triggers

Follow up on a return visit

Page goals and visit triggers require a one-line snippet on your website. Conversations, bookings and manually marking a deal won work without it.

A saved visit trigger: when a lead visits /thank-you, email me after 20 minutes, once per 7 days, with a fired count and an on switch.

My AI Front Desk and Bold Agent Kit overlap more than most: both put one AI across the phone, texts and chat, both book appointments and both follow up. My AI Front Desk sells the whole thing as a platform, with a built-in CRM, warm transfers, more than 20 languages, a white-label programme and plans with monthly allowances topped up by credits. Bold Agent Kit is the software alone, at $25 a month or $200 a year for the account, running on your own carrier, AI key and mailboxes billed at cost, with deliverability tools for email, eleven DM platforms and no live transfer. Moving from My AI Front Desk, choosing between them, or staying

Three honest ways this goes. The trial is seven days, so you can test every channel on your own number before deciding.

Choose My AI Front Desk if you want minutes, texts and chats included in one plan rather than holding a carrier account and an AI key; if urgent or VIP callers must be warm-transferred to your team; if you need a receptionist its maker says speaks more than 20 languages; if you want a built-in CRM and ticketing rather than connecting your own; if you need API access or webhooks; or if you resell to clients and want your own logo and domain on the product, which its white-label programme offers and Bold Agent Kit does not.

It books your calendar, updates your CRM and knows what they bought

Connect the tools you already run and the agent works them like an assistant would: it takes appointments straight into your calendar, writes notes and outcomes back to the CRM, and reads your store to see what somebody has bought before it answers them.

Bookings are real, not guesses. It is only ever given slots that are genuinely free, and it can only take one it actually offered — so it cannot invent a time or double-book you. The same connection pulls a segment of past customers into a list when you want to run a campaign at them.

None of it matters if the email lands in spam

A new address sending forty cold emails a day gets filtered, and takes the domain with it. Mailboxes that opt into warm-up send each other ordinary mail on a ramp, starting at five a day. The receiving mailbox finds each message, moves it out of spam if it landed there, marks it read and replies to a share of them.

Each mailbox carries a health score out of 100 — SPF, DKIM and DMARC on the sending domain, seven days of real sends and bounces, and where its own warm-up mail is landing — with the reasons listed. A mailbox whose bounce rate or spam placement passes a threshold is pulled out of campaign rotation automatically, before it damages the domain.

From My AI Front Desk to your own agent in an afternoon

Three steps. Answering and dialling are separate switches, auto-reply is a switch per channel, and a campaign sends nothing until you start it, so nothing reaches a customer before you are ready.

Carry your Frontdesk training across

Everything your My AI Front Desk receptionist was trained on has a place here. Its knowledge base pages become documents and pages of your own site the agent may link to; its FAQs become Q&A pairs; your prices, hours and service areas become data points. Name the agent, choose a model from one of sixteen providers and paste your own API key.

Choose a voice from Google, Amazon Polly or ElevenLabs, or clone your own on an ElevenLabs or Fish Audio key. Then write the instructions: how to greet, which qualification questions to ask, what it may offer, and the situations your transfer triggers covered, which here become callers it takes details from and passes to you.

Point your forwarding at your own Twilio number

My AI Front Desk works by forwarding your existing number to it. Here, add a number in your own Twilio account and change the forwarding to point at it, or port your number into Twilio so it lives on an account you hold. Switch answering on and leave dialling off. Texts run on the same number, or on one of eight other carriers.

Connect the calendar it books into and the CRM or job software that holds your customers. Bring contacts across as a CSV, or pull a segment from HubSpot, GoHighLevel or another connected CRM. Connect your mailboxes, add the chat snippet to your site, and connect your social accounts with your own app credentials.

Ring it, text it, then move the line

Before moving the line, test every channel yourself: ring the number, text it, write to the mailbox, open the chat and send a DM. Ask for a price, a slot on Thursday, and the question My AI Front Desk used to transfer. Read each transcript in the inbox and fix the data point or instruction that needs it.

Then move the forwarding. From that day every call lands with its recording, texts and chats sit on the same contact, and any campaign you build shows its whole plan and sends nothing until you press Start. Step into any thread yourself and the agent stands down until you hand it back.

One account, unlimited agents

One account runs unlimited agents, one per client, and nothing is shared between them. A knowledge base belongs to a single agent, and content from one agent is never used to generate replies for another.

Invite a client by email address and they get their own login, which opens onto the one agent you gave them: its conversations, its numbers, its analytics and a reply box. They cannot see your other clients, your API keys, your settings or your billing. Access is deny-by-default.

Is Bold Agent Kit better than My AI Front Desk?

It depends on the buyer. A business that wants usage bundled into one plan, warm transfers to its team, a built-in CRM, API access or a white-label product to resell is better served by My AI Front Desk. A business that wants a flat $25 a month for the software, its own carrier and AI key billed at cost, email with warm-up and deliverability tools, eleven DM platforms and an agent that reads the CRM it already runs is better served by Bold Agent Kit. Both answer, book and follow up, so the price model and the transfer question usually decide it.

What is the difference between Bold Agent Kit and My AI Front Desk?

Both put one AI across several channels. My AI Front Desk, which its site now calls Frontdesk, bundles a phone receptionist, chatbot, SMS and email agents, a built-in CRM, ticketing and outbound calls into plans with monthly allowances, topped up by credits, and offers warm transfers, more than 20 languages and a white-label reseller programme. Bold Agent Kit is one flat plan with no allowances: calls and texts on your own carrier, the model on your own key, email through your own mailboxes with warm-up, eleven DM platforms, and connections to the CRM and calendar you already run.

How does My AI Front Desk pricing compare with Bold Agent Kit?

My AI Front Desk offers a 7-day free trial, and at the time of writing its published plans start at $99 a month, or $79 a month billed annually. That plan includes set monthly amounts of voice minutes, chatbot conversations, texts, form submissions and email drafts, with usage beyond them drawn from credits at published rates. Bold Agent Kit is $25 a month or $200 a year for the account, with a 7-day free trial and no per-minute, per-message or per-conversation charge from us. Your carrier and AI provider bill their usage to you at cost.

How do I move from My AI Front Desk to Bold Agent Kit?

Build the agent from what your Frontdesk setup already holds: the knowledge base pages, the FAQs, the qualification questions, the booking rules and the transfer triggers become data points, Q&A pairs, documents and instructions. Add a number in your own Twilio account and connect your calendar and CRM. Bring contacts across as a CSV, or pull a segment from a connected CRM such as HubSpot or GoHighLevel. Ring and text the agent yourself until it answers the way you want, then change your business line's forwarding to the Twilio number, or port the number into Twilio.

When is My AI Front Desk the better choice?

When you want the usage included: minutes, texts and chats in one plan rather than on your own carrier and AI accounts. When urgent or VIP callers must be warm-transferred to your team, which Bold Agent Kit cannot do. When you want a built-in CRM and ticketing rather than connecting the CRM you have, or need API access and webhooks. And when you resell to clients and want your own logo and domain on the product: its white-label programme offers that, while Bold Agent Kit gives clients their own login but no custom branding or domain.

Is My AI Front Desk the same as Frontdesk?

Its website, myaifrontdesk.com, now presents the product as Frontdesk, and in places as AI Frontdesk or Frontdesk AI, from a company named AI Front Desk, Inc. We call it My AI Front Desk on this page because that is the name many people know it by. Everything said about it here was read on that site on the date shown on this page, and Bold Agent Kit is not affiliated with it in any way. Check its own site for anything that may have changed since then, particularly plans and prices.

Can Bold Agent Kit transfer calls like My AI Front Desk?

No. My AI Front Desk warm-transfers urgent or VIP callers to your team. Bold Agent Kit cannot put a live call through to another number. For the callers you name in its instructions, it takes their name, number and reason for calling, tells them what will happen next, and puts the recording and transcript in your inbox, tagged as a call, on their contact record. You can reply by text from the same number, and the agent stands down on that thread. If live transfer is essential to how you work, My AI Front Desk is the better fit.

Is Bold Agent Kit white label like My AI Front Desk?

Not in the same way. My AI Front Desk has a reseller programme with your own logo, colours and domain, and billing through your own Stripe account. Bold Agent Kit gives each client their own login onto the agent you built for them, where they see its inbox, analytics and a reply box, and nothing of your account, your keys or your other clients. It does not put your logo on the product or run on your own domain. Unlimited agents are included, so one client or fifty costs the same $25.
