Bold Agent Kit vs Conversica
two ways to follow up every lead.

Bold Agent Kit vs Conversica compares two AI agents that follow up every lead and keep the conversation going until something happens. Conversica builds its AI agents with your team, for marketing, sales and service, across email, SMS, chat and messaging apps, and connects them to systems such as Salesforce, Marketo and Microsoft Dynamics. Bold Agent Kit is one agent you set up yourself on email, texts, phone calls, website chat and eleven DM platforms, for a published $25 a month.

Every channel wired into one agent and out to the tools behind it: email, SMS, phone, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Slack, Discord, X, Reddit, Bluesky, website chat, campaign sequences and follow-ups on one side; HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, HubSpot Meetings, Zoho Bookings, Acuity Scheduling, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace on the other.

Adaptive persistence, or a sequence you schedule

Conversica connects to your website forms, chatbots or inbound tools and starts a two-way conversation with each new enquiry in real time. If the lead does not reply, its AI agent follows up over several days, adjusting tone, timing and channel for each attempt, and Conversica suggests a mix of email, SMS and instant messenger for high-value enquiries. When the lead engages, the agent qualifies them, then books a meeting or routes them to the right team.

Bold Agent Kit follows the sequence you write. An email on day 0 from your own mailbox, a text on day 2 on your own number, a call placed by the agent on day 5, each step with its own delay and send condition, inside the days, hours and time zone you set. The whole plan shows on a review screen, every contact, step and date, before anything sends. A reply, a booking or an opt-out on any channel ends the sequence on every channel and cancels anything already queued to that person.

An agent's Email tab with three mailboxes connected, each showing a Good 90 health score, warm-up day and inbox placement, SPF, DKIM and DMARC checks, and an Active toggle.

Both put an agent on the site. The terms are different

Conversica Website Chat is a JavaScript widget that answers visitors from a knowledge base of facts, using semantic search and a large language model. It captures a name and email address by form or in the conversation, writes the lead and the full chat history to a supported CRM or marketing automation platform, and can follow up by email after the chat. Its help centre describes the widget as covering a single domain, with additional domains at extra charge, and says links, including calendar links, are placed in the facts it answers from.

Bold Agent Kit's widget goes on with one line of script, in your colour, with your image and a greeting you wrote, and it is part of the plan. The agent answers from your documents, Q&A pairs, data points and the pages of your own site it may link to, asks for an email address when the conversation is worth keeping, and books the meeting inside the chat: it offers real open slots from your calendar and writes in the one the visitor picks. Unlimited agents are included, so a second brand with its own site is a second agent on the same plan.

A website chat conversation in the Inbox: the visitor asks how much it is, the agent answers with the price and a link, the visitor's story is drawn across the top, and a reply box lets a person take the thread over.

The phone line and the social inbox

The channels Conversica lists are email, SMS, chat and messaging apps, 24 hours a day, in any language you need. Its help centre says the website chat supports more than sixty languages out of the box through the Google Translate API.

Bold Agent Kit covers the phone line as well. On your own Twilio number the agent answers inbound calls and places outbound ones, hearing and speaking in real time on your provider's fastest model, with the recording and transcript in the inbox. Texts run on your own account with one of nine carriers. Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X are each connected with your own app credentials and answered by the same agent, inside each platform's own reply window, into the same inbox as your email and calls.

The agent's Social tab: Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X as a grid of platform cards, each connected with your own app credentials.

Handing over to a person, and what the person sees

Conversica's agents escalate complex cases to a person without breaking the conversation, and route qualified leads to the right team, with the complete chat history captured against the lead in your CRM. Conversica tracks each conversation for response time, engagement, conversion and drop-off, so a marketing team can see which enquiries convert.

In Bold Agent Kit, every conversation on every channel lands in one inbox, newest first, tagged with the channel it arrived on, and filterable by channel, number, mailbox or agent. Your instructions name the conversations the agent should hand over, such as a complaint, a custom quote or a request for a person, and those arrive with the agent standing down. Reply in any thread yourself and it stops talking; hand the thread back and it picks up where you left it. Bookings and notes go back to the contact in a connected CRM.

The Inbox as one list: web chat, texts and calls together, a call marked no answer, a completed call that booked a roof inspection, texts confirming a Thursday appointment and asking the price, each row tagged with the channel it arrived on.

How Bold Agent Kit and Conversica compare, and who each is for

Conversica and Bold Agent Kit both do the job most businesses never quite get round to: they start a conversation with every lead, keep following up when there is no reply, answer questions, and book a meeting or hand over to a person when the lead is ready. Conversica's AI agents qualify leads, re-engage customers and resolve issues across email, SMS, chat and messaging apps, and its published use cases run from event, ad and content follow-up to renewals, upsells and changes to a customer's plan or billing. Bold Agent Kit is one AI agent that answers every channel a customer can reach you on, and follows up the ones who went quiet, on a plan you can start today.

The way you buy them is the first difference. Conversica does not publish prices. Its route in is a meeting with its team, who help you define the outcomes you want and match you with an agent; the agent is then built with industry-trained flows, tailored messaging and the integrations your systems need, and starts conversations within days. Bold Agent Kit publishes its price: $25 a month or $200 a year for the account, with a 7-day free trial, unlimited agents, contacts and channels, and your own AI key and carrier billed to you at cost. You build the agent yourself, from your own material, and nothing sends until you press Start.

The second is the stack each one is built around. Conversica's help centre documents integrations with Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua, Pardot, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Sales Cloud, Velocify and 6sense, plus CSV over SFTP, and its industry pages cover automotive, sports and entertainment, hospitality, enterprise and higher education. Bold Agent Kit connects to HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan and Jobber, to Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace, and to eight calendars: the stack of a local business, a service company, a store, or an agency running several of them. HubSpot is the one system both of them name.

The third is the channels. Both cover email, text and website chat. Conversica lists messaging apps; Bold Agent Kit connects eleven DM platforms by name, and it also answers and places phone calls, with the agent speaking in real time on your own number. Conversica's service agents can update plans, preferences and payment details inside the conversation; Bold Agent Kit's agent answers from your knowledge base and reads a connected store or CRM, but it does not change a customer's plan or take a payment. What follows sets the two side by side, from Conversica's own website and help centre as of 11 September 2026.

Why a business compares Conversica with something smaller

Conversica is built for marketing, sales and service teams that run programmes at scale on enterprise systems. Four things lead other businesses to look at a different shape of product.

01

There is no price to read

Conversica does not publish prices on its website. Its pages lead to a demo request and a meeting with its team, and the cost is something you learn in that conversation. For a large organisation buying through procurement that is normal. For an owner or a small team who wants to know the monthly figure before spending an hour on a call, it is the first hurdle.

02

Setup begins with a meeting

Conversica's published process is three steps: meet with its team to define the outcomes and match you with an agent, build the agent with industry-trained flows, tailored messaging and your integrations, and start seeing conversations within days. That is a guided build, and for many buyers a welcome one. A business that wants to write its own instructions tonight, change an answer tomorrow and add a channel next week is looking for something it can run itself.

03

The integrations are enterprise systems

The integrations Conversica's help centre documents are Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua, Pardot, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Sales Cloud, Velocify, 6sense and CSV over SFTP, with a webhook for pushing chat leads into other systems. A plumbing company on Jobber, a clinic booking through Acuity or a shop on Shopify will not find its own system named in that list.

04

The phone is not on the list

The channels Conversica lists are email, SMS, chat and messaging apps. For many businesses the enquiry that matters most still arrives as a phone call, or as a missed call, and the follow-up that ends in a two-minute conversation is often the one that books. If the phone is where your enquiries arrive, that line needs its own answer.

One agent you build yourself, on every channel you own

Bold Agent Kit is built for the business that wants to set the agent up itself, change it whenever it likes, and have every channel answered by the same one.

01 / Build

Your material, your instructions

Name the agent, choose one of sixteen model providers and paste your own key, then give it your documents, your Q&A pairs, your prices and hours as data points, and the pages of your own site it may link to. Write the instructions: how it should talk, what it may offer, and when it should stop and fetch you. It only says what you told it to say, and every reply is stored with the material it came from.

02 / Answers

Every channel, one voice

Email, texts, phone calls, website chat and eleven DM platforms, answered in seconds by the same agent from the same knowledge base. The cookie, the email address, the phone number and the social account id belonging to one person are merged into one contact, so the agent reads the whole history before it replies and nobody has to explain themselves twice.

03 / Follows up

Until they reply, book or opt out

A sequence across email, text and a call placed by the agent, each step on its own delay and send condition, inside the hours you set. It offers real slots from your calendar and books the one they pick, and a reply, a booking or an opt-out on any channel ends the sequence on every channel and cancels anything queued.

You set the rules, and read the plan, before anything sends

The text step of a follow-up sequence carries the number it sends from, how many texts an hour that number may send, the sending window with days, hours and time zone, and the Reply STOP line. Email steps carry their own hourly cap per mailbox and a one-click unsubscribe on every message. A STOP, an unsubscribe or an opt-out on any channel ends the sequence on every channel, adds the person to a suppression list and cancels anything already queued to them.

The campaign is created as a draft and shows its whole plan on a review screen: every contact, every step, every date. It sends nothing until you press Start, and it can be paused and resumed at any point. This is the difference in how the two are run. Conversica builds the agent and its flows with you; in Bold Agent Kit the rules, the wording and the schedule are yours to set and change, from the same screen, whenever you like.

The text messages card in the campaign builder: which agent's number sends, texts per hour per number, a TCPA consent tick with the 9am to 8pm sending window and the Reply STOP line, and the opening text of the sequence.

What a smaller team gets from running it themselves

Each of these answers one of the points above, and each one runs without anybody remembering to do it.

Real open slots from your calendar offered in the conversation, and the one they pick written in and confirmed. Not a link to go and find a time.

And you can see what every conversation led to

Conversica tracks response time, engagement, conversion and drop-off for its conversations. In Bold Agent Kit, every message, reply, call, page view, booking and sale is recorded against a person and reported as a funnel per agent and across all agents.

The Bold Agent Kit dashboard: 157 people reached, 89 replied, 59 visited the site, 9 converted and $4,050 of value won over the last 30 days, with a breakdown by channel and by agent, and recent journeys underneath.

The funnel counts people rather than conversations: how many the agent reached, how many replied, how many went on to visit your website, and how many converted, with the total value won and the median time from first contact to the sale. Set a goal with a dollar value, as a page rule or a manual "won", and a follow-up campaign reports what it brought in, not only how many conversations it started.

Below the funnel, a channel table shows where each person first made contact and which channel they were on when they converted, so you learn whether your enquiries book by email, by text, on the phone or in the chat. A pages table shows what known people read before they bought. One row per person shows the whole history in order, months apart and across channels. And a visit trigger, which needs the one-line snippet on your site, closes the loop: when a known lead comes back to a page you named, the agent tells you or follows up after a delay you set, on the channel they last used.

A funnel of people, not conversationsReached, replied, visited your site, converted, and the total value won.

Journey view

Every event for one person

Built from the cookie, email address and phone number attached to that contact, so activity months apart on different channels appears on one row.

A journey row for one contact: their address, then every email reply in order along a single line, with earlier events folded up behind a +5.
Visit triggers

Follow up on a return visit

Page goals and visit triggers require a one-line snippet on your website. Conversations, bookings and manually marking a deal won work without it.

A saved visit trigger: when a lead visits /thank-you, email me after 20 minutes, once per 7 days, with a fired count and an on switch.

Each row is a job a lead follow-up agent needs to do. The middle column is how Conversica does it, or sells it, as its own website and help centre describe at the time of writing; the right-hand column is Bold Agent Kit.

Conversica is built for marketing, sales and service teams on enterprise systems: agents built with its team, industry-trained flows, integrations with Salesforce, Marketo, Eloqua, Microsoft Dynamics and Oracle, and service agents that can change a customer's plan in the conversation, with pricing agreed through its sales team. Bold Agent Kit is built for businesses and agencies that want to set up one agent themselves on every channel, including the phone and social DMs, at a published $25 a month or $200 a year, plus AI and carrier usage at cost. Conversica's details were checked on its own website and help centre on 11 September 2026 and may have changed since.

Which one fits your business

Three situations people are usually in when they compare the two. The honest answer is different in each.

A business that used Conversica to follow up web enquiries and now wants to run the agent itself, add the phone line and social DMs, and pay a published price. Load the facts the old agent answered from into a knowledge base, bring the open leads across as a CSV from your CRM or marketing automation platform, or as a segment from a connected HubSpot, put the widget on the site, and rebuild the follow-up as a sequence you can read before it starts.

An organisation that keeps Conversica on the programmes it is wired into, such as event follow-up, ABM and nurture through Marketo or Eloqua, and wants a separate agent on a channel or a business unit those programmes do not reach: the phone line, the social inbox, or a local branch with its own site. The two do not connect to each other. If both are connected to HubSpot, that is where the records meet; otherwise keep the lists apart, so nobody hears from both.

An enterprise or large marketing, sales or service organisation on Salesforce, Marketo, Eloqua, Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle, running events, ABM and nurture programmes at volume, or service and retention flows where the agent updates plans, preferences and payment details inside the conversation. Conversica is built for that, with industry-trained flows for sectors such as automotive and higher education and a team that builds the agent with you. Bold Agent Kit does not integrate with those systems or change a customer's account, so for that buyer Conversica is the better fit.

It books your calendar, updates your CRM and knows what they bought

Connect the tools you already run and the agent works them like an assistant would: it takes appointments straight into your calendar, writes notes and outcomes back to the CRM, and reads your store to see what somebody has bought before it answers them.

Bookings are real, not guesses. It is only ever given slots that are genuinely free, and it can only take one it actually offered — so it cannot invent a time or double-book you. The same connection pulls a segment of past customers into a list when you want to run a campaign at them.

Powered by your own keys

Each agent uses a model on your own API key, in the same way it sends from your own mailbox and your own phone number. Sixteen providers are supported: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, xAI and Mistral; DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, Qwen and MiniMax; Groq, Together, Fireworks and OpenRouter; and Ollama or any other OpenAI-compatible endpoint you host yourself.

Bring your own credentials and you own the whole stack: your model provider, your mailboxes, your carrier, your CRM. We charge for the software and nothing else — no token markup, no metering, no credit packs — so your provider bills you direct at their rates, usually a few dollars a month per agent.

None of it matters if the email lands in spam

A new address sending forty cold emails a day gets filtered, and takes the domain with it. Mailboxes that opt into warm-up send each other ordinary mail on a ramp, starting at five a day. The receiving mailbox finds each message, moves it out of spam if it landed there, marks it read and replies to a share of them.

Each mailbox carries a health score out of 100 — SPF, DKIM and DMARC on the sending domain, seven days of real sends and bounces, and where its own warm-up mail is landing — with the reasons listed. A mailbox whose bounce rate or spam placement passes a threshold is pulled out of campaign rotation automatically, before it damages the domain.

Moving from Conversica, and running it yourself

Three steps. Auto-reply is a separate switch per channel, and a campaign is a draft that shows its whole plan until you press Start, so you can build everything before the old agent is switched off.

Turn the old agent's facts into a knowledge base

Name the agent, choose a model and paste your own API key; sixteen providers are supported, and the usage is billed to you by the provider. Then give it what it answers from: the facts your Conversica agent used, as documents and Q&A pairs, your prices, hours and policies as data points, and the pages of your own site it may link to, which it reads, stores and links verbatim.

Write the instructions last: how it should talk, how it should qualify, which offer it may make, whether it should always ask for the booking, and the exact situations in which it should stop and fetch you. A complaint, a billing change and a request for a person are the usual three.

Connect the channels, including the phone

Add the mailbox your leads write to, with an app password for Gmail and Outlook or SMTP and IMAP for anything else, a number with one of nine SMS carriers, and Twilio if the agent should answer and place calls. Put the one-line chat snippet on your site in place of the old widget, and connect your social accounts on your own app credentials.

Then connect the calendar it books into and the CRM or store it reads before it answers, and bring the open leads across as a CSV, or as a segment pulled from a connected HubSpot or other CRM.

Read the plan, then switch it on

Switch auto-reply on for the channels the agent should answer, and read the first conversations in the inbox. Calls have separate switches for answering and dialling, so the agent can pick up the phone without ever placing a call.

Then build the follow-up sequence across email, text and call, set the days, hours and time zone, and read the whole plan on the review screen before you press Start. Pause it at any point and resume it later. When you are happy, switch the old agent off.

One account, unlimited agents

One account runs unlimited agents, one per client, and nothing is shared between them. A knowledge base belongs to a single agent, and content from one agent is never used to generate replies for another.

Invite a client by email address and they get their own login, which opens onto the one agent you gave them: its conversations, its numbers, its analytics and a reply box. They cannot see your other clients, your API keys, your settings or your billing. Access is deny-by-default.

Is Bold Agent Kit better than Conversica?

It depends on who is buying. For an enterprise or large team running marketing, sales and service programmes on Salesforce, Marketo, Eloqua, Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle, with agents that update a customer's plan or payment details in the conversation and a vendor team that builds the agent with you, Conversica is built for that and Bold Agent Kit is not. For a business, a service company or an agency that wants to build its own agent today, answer the phone and social DMs as well as email, text and chat, book into its own calendar and pay a published $25 a month, Bold Agent Kit fits better.

What is the difference between Bold Agent Kit and Conversica?

Conversica provides AI agents for marketing, sales and service teams that qualify leads, re-engage customers and resolve issues across email, SMS, chat and messaging apps. You meet its team, the agent is built with industry-trained flows and your integrations, and there is no published price. Bold Agent Kit is one AI agent you build yourself that answers email, texts, phone calls, website chat and eleven DM platforms from one knowledge base, runs follow-up sequences, and books real calendar slots. It connects to small-business CRMs, stores and calendars, and costs $25 a month or $200 a year for the account.

How does Conversica pricing compare with Bold Agent Kit?

Conversica does not publish prices on its website. Its pages lead to a demo request and a conversation with its team, so there is no figure we can put next to ours, and we will not guess at one. Bold Agent Kit is $25 a month or $200 a year for the whole account, with a 7-day free trial, unlimited agents, contacts and channels, and no per-seat, per-contact or per-message charge. The AI runs on your own key and texts and calls on your own carrier account, both billed to you directly at cost, usually a few dollars a month.

How do I move from Conversica to Bold Agent Kit?

Gather the facts your Conversica agent answered from and load them into a Bold Agent Kit agent as documents, Q&A pairs, data points and pages of your own site. Bring your open leads across as a CSV from your CRM or marketing automation platform, or pull a segment from a connected HubSpot. Replace the chat widget with the one-line Bold Agent Kit script, connect a mailbox, a number and a calendar, and rebuild your follow-up as a sequence. The campaign shows its whole plan before it sends anything, so you can check it before the old agent is switched off.

When is Conversica the better choice?

When you are an enterprise or large organisation whose systems are Salesforce, Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle Sales Cloud, and you run programmes at volume: event and ABM follow-up, nurture, renewals and upsells. It is also the better choice when you want the agent to update plans, preferences and payment details inside the conversation, or you want a vendor team to build the agent with industry-trained flows for sectors such as automotive, hospitality or higher education. Bold Agent Kit does none of those things, and it is better to know that before you start.

Can Bold Agent Kit change a customer's plan or payment details like Conversica?

No. Bold Agent Kit's agent answers from your knowledge base, and with a CRM or store connected it reads what a customer has bought and what is open before it replies. It can offer real calendar slots and book one, and write bookings and notes back to a connected CRM. It does not change a subscription, update payment details or take a payment. It can link to the page on your own site where the customer does that, if you allow it, and hand the conversation to you whenever your instructions say so.

Does Bold Agent Kit integrate with Marketo, Eloqua or Salesforce?

No. Bold Agent Kit connects to HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan and Jobber as CRMs; Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace as stores; and Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, Cal.com, Acuity, Zoho Bookings, Square and HubSpot Meetings as calendars. Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and Oracle are not among them. HubSpot is the one system both Bold Agent Kit and Conversica name, so a HubSpot user can connect either. If your programmes run on the others, Conversica is built around them.

Can I set Bold Agent Kit up myself?

Yes, and it can be live the same afternoon. Name the agent, choose a model and paste your own key; give it your documents, Q&A pairs, prices and hours and the pages of your site it may link to; write the instructions. Connect a mailbox, a number, the chat widget and your social accounts, then a calendar and a CRM. Auto-reply is a separate switch per channel, and a campaign is a draft that shows its whole plan until you press Start. If you would rather have it built for you, a build on the platform is available for a fixed fee.
