Bold Agent Kit vs Make
Every channel, already wired in.

Bold Agent Kit vs Make is a choice between drawing the system and switching it on. Make, formerly Integromat, is a visual platform where you build scenarios and AI agents across its 3,000+ apps, billed by credits. Bold Agent Kit is the lead-response system already built: one AI agent on chat, texts, calls, email and DMs, from one knowledge base, with booking and follow-up, for $25 a month.

7-day free trial · Cancel anytime

Every channel wired into one agent and out to the tools behind it: email, SMS, phone, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Slack, Discord, X, Reddit, Bluesky, website chat, campaign sequences and follow-ups on one side; HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, HubSpot Meetings, Zoho Bookings, Acuity Scheduling, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace on the other.

An agent you configure, not a scenario you draw

In Make, a scenario is a series of modules that sets out how data is moved and transformed between apps. For lead response that means a trigger module for each way a lead arrives, modules for the AI step, the reply, the CRM record and the calendar, and routers and filters to decide which route each lead takes. Make AI Agents are built on the same canvas, with instructions, tools and knowledge files. It is a canvas on which you can draw a great deal, and the drawing is yours to make and keep.

Bold Agent Kit starts from the finished shape. You build one agent: a name, a model on your own key, a knowledge base and a set of instructions. The channels, the reply rules, the booking, the follow-up sequences and the stop rules are already part of it, so there is no route to draw between them. You decide what the agent should say and which channels it should answer, and the rest is how the product already behaves.

Everything it does lands in one inbox: web chat, texts, call transcripts and recordings, email and DMs, newest first, each tagged with its channel. Reply in any thread yourself and the agent stands down until you hand it back.

The Inbox as one list: web chat, texts and calls together, a call marked no answer, a completed call that booked a roof inspection, texts confirming a Thursday appointment and asking the price, each row tagged with the channel it arrived on.

The phone and the text number are part of the agent

A lead who texts or phones is often the most ready to buy, and on an automation platform the SMS number and the phone line are apps you choose and add as modules, each with its own account, its own connection and its own place in the scenario. What happens on the call itself depends on the voice service you decide to connect and how you wire it in.

In Bold Agent Kit, texts run on your own number through Twilio, Telnyx, SimpleTexting, Plivo, Vonage, Sinch, Bandwidth, MessageBird or ClickSend, and calls run on your own Twilio number, with separate switches for answering and dialling. On a call the agent hears and speaks in real time and uses your provider's fastest model so it does not leave silences, and the recording and transcript land in the inbox against that contact.

The text step of a campaign carries the number it sends from, the texts-per-hour pace for that number, the sending window and the Reply STOP line. A reply of STOP is honoured on every channel at once, not just the one it arrived on.

The text messages card in the campaign builder: which agent's number sends, texts per hour per number, a TCPA consent tick with the 9am to 8pm sending window and the Reply STOP line, and the opening text of the sequence.

The website chat and eleven DM platforms, from one knowledge base

One line of script puts a chat widget on your site, in your colour, with your image and a greeting you wrote. It answers from the knowledge base, links only to the pages of your site you allowed, and asks for an email address when the conversation is worth keeping, so the visitor becomes a contact the agent will recognise when they call or text later.

The same agent answers Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X, each connected with your own app credentials, with replies going out inside each platform's own reply window. A question about price on Instagram gets the same answer as on the website, because the same agent is reading the same Q&A pairs and data points, and every thread lands in the same inbox as the email and the calls.

A website chat conversation in the Inbox: the visitor asks how much it is, the agent answers with the price and a link, the visitor's story is drawn across the top, and a reply box lets a person take the thread over.

A flat fee, against credits per module action

Make bills by credits, which replaced operations as its billing unit. On its pricing page, each module action in a scenario, such as adding a spreadsheet row or fetching data from an account, counts as one credit, and its help centre says AI features on Make's own AI provider add credits based on tokens. Plans are sold by monthly credit allowance, with extra credits available in bundles. At the time of writing, its published paid plans start at $12 a month, billed monthly, for 10,000 credits a month.

Bold Agent Kit is $25 a month or $200 a year for the whole account, with a 7-day free trial and no credits, operations, seats or per-agent charges. Every reply, booking and follow-up step is covered by the plan, whatever the volume. The model runs on your own key with one of sixteen providers and the texts and calls on your own carrier, both billed to you at cost, and the dashboard shows what the month earned rather than what it consumed.

The Bold Agent Kit dashboard: 157 people reached, 89 replied, 59 visited the site, 9 converted and $4,050 of value won over the last 30 days, with a breakdown by channel and by agent, and recent journeys underneath.

How Bold Agent Kit and Make compare when the job is answering leads

Make, formerly Integromat, is a visual automation platform. You build scenarios on a canvas, a scenario being a series of modules that moves and transforms data between apps, and its homepage counts more than 3,000 pre-built apps to draw from. It has added AI alongside: Make AI Agents, which reason about what to do next and trigger workflows, Maia by Make for building automations and agents through conversation, Make Grid for an overview of everything you have automated, and an MCP server. Teams use it for many kinds of work, and some use it to stitch a lead-response system together from a chat tool, an SMS provider, a calendar, a CRM and an AI model.

Bold Agent Kit is that system without the stitching. It is one AI agent that answers email, text messages, phone calls, website chat and eleven social DM platforms from one knowledge base. It replies in seconds on the channel the lead used, offers real open slots from your calendar and books the one they pick, follows up on a schedule across email, text and calls, and stops the moment the lead replies, books or opts out on any channel. Every conversation is in one inbox, and every person is one contact.

The honest comparison is about scope. Make can automate a great deal that Bold Agent Kit never will: data moving between thousands of apps, back-office processes, agents on internal work, almost anything you can draw. What it asks in return is that you design it: which module triggers on a new lead, how often the scenario runs, which route a reply takes, which tools the agent may call, and how a follow-up knows to stop. Bold Agent Kit asks you to decide what the agent should say and which channels to switch on. The rest is decided.

The billing follows the same line. Make is billed by credits, one per module action, with AI on its own provider adding credits by tokens, and plans sized by monthly credit allowance. Bold Agent Kit is a flat $25 a month or $200 a year with no credits, operations or seats, running on your own AI key and your own carrier, both at cost. Both let you bring a model key of your own; the difference is that here nothing else is metered. Plenty of teams run both: Make for operations, Bold Agent Kit for customers.

Four things that come with stitching lead response together in scenarios

None of these is a criticism of Make. They follow from building a customer-facing system out of modules, on a platform that is billed by use.

01

A module for every tool, and a tool for every channel

The chat widget, the SMS provider, the phone service, the calendar, the CRM and the AI model each arrive as an app with its own account, its own connection and often its own subscription, and each becomes modules in the scenario. Make connects them. Choosing them, paying for them separately and keeping every connection current stays with you, and so does knowing what the whole stack costs.

02

Credits on every step

Make counts a credit for each module action, and when an AI agent runs on Make's own AI provider it adds credits based on the tokens used; on your own provider connection, the agent still uses a credit per operation. A lead-response scenario runs often by design, so the allowance you need grows with the number of leads and the number of steps each one takes. When credits run out, the options Make gives are to upgrade, buy extra credits or turn on automatic top-ups.

03

Timing is a setting you own

By default a Make scenario runs every 15 minutes, on a schedule you can change, or it starts immediately when a webhook receives a request or an app's instant trigger fires. For lead response that choice matters, because speed to lead decides who wins the job, and it is one more setting per scenario that somebody has to get right and keep right as channels and routes are added.

04

Memory and handover are yours to build

A person who chats on the website, then texts, then calls arrives through three different modules. Recognising them as one contact, keeping one history, putting every thread in one inbox and letting a person step in and hand back are pieces you would design, store and maintain yourself. Without them the same lead is three strangers, and nobody can see at a glance what they were told.

One agent. Fifteen channels. Nothing to draw.

You build the agent once and switch channels on. There is no canvas, no router and no run schedule: answering, booking, following up and stopping are how the agent already behaves.

01 / Listens

Every channel, in seconds

Email over IMAP, texts on your carrier, calls on Twilio, the website widget and eleven DM platforms are all worked by the same agent. A genuine incoming message is answered from the knowledge base as it arrives, once per thread, inside daily and hourly caps, and bounces, out-of-office replies and no-reply addresses are ignored so it never gets into a loop with an autoresponder.

02 / Books

The slot, not the module

Connect Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, Cal.com, Acuity, Zoho Bookings, Square or HubSpot Meetings, and the agent is given the slots that are genuinely free. The lead picks one, the pick is checked against what was offered, and it is written in and confirmed in the reply. It cannot book a time that was not free, and it cannot cancel an appointment it was not shown.

03 / Stops

On a reply, a booking or an opt-out

Follow-up runs as a campaign of email, text and call steps with their own delays and send conditions, created as a draft and reviewed on one screen before you press Start. A reply, a booking or an opt-out on any channel ends it on every channel, an unsubscribe is honoured automatically, including on queued mail, and you can pause and resume it at any point.

The same agent on the chat, the DMs and the phone

The biggest difference is not any single feature. It is that the channels share one brain. Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X sit on the agent's Social tab next to its mailboxes, its number and its chat widget, each connected with your own credentials. They all read the same documents, Q&A pairs, data points and pages, and follow the same instructions, so there is no route per channel to keep in step with the others.

Every handle seen for a person, the chat cookie, the email address, the phone number, the social account id, is attached to one contact, and records are merged when a new handle turns out to belong to someone the agent already knows. The agent reads that history before it replies. Change a price once in the knowledge base and every channel quotes it from the next reply, with no module to edit on each route.

The agent's Social tab: Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Slack, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X as a grid of platform cards, each connected with your own app credentials.

What you get on the first day, without a scenario

Each one answers a problem above, and each one comes with the agent rather than being built around it.

Speed

Seconds, on every channel

An enquiry at 11pm is answered at 11pm, on the channel it arrived on. No run schedule to shorten, and no webhook to wire up per channel.

Price

A plan that does not grow with volume

$25 a month or $200 a year for every agent and channel. No credits per step, no top-up bundles, no seat charges.

Simplicity

One place to change anything

Prices, hours, offers and answers live in one knowledge base. Edit it once and every channel uses it from the next reply.

Control

Step in on any thread

Reply yourself and the agent stands down; hand the thread back and it carries on. The conversations you named come straight to you.

And it reports what it earned, not what it consumed

Usage figures tell you how much a system ran. Here every message, reply, page view, call, booking and sale is recorded against a person and reported as a funnel, per agent and across all agents.

The Bold Agent Kit dashboard: 157 people reached, 89 replied, 59 visited the site, 9 converted and $4,050 of value won over the last 30 days, with a breakdown by channel and by agent, and recent journeys underneath.

The funnel counts people: how many leads the agent reached, how many replied, how many visited your website and how many converted, with the total value won and the median time from first contact to the sale. Goals carry a dollar value, set by a page rule or by marking a deal won by hand, so each agent reports revenue rather than runs.

A channel table shows where each person first made contact and which channel they converted on, which is how you learn whether the WhatsApp leads book on WhatsApp or on the phone. A pages table shows what known people read before they bought, and one row per person shows their whole journey in order, months apart and across channels. Visit triggers close the loop: a known lead returns to a page you named, and the agent tells you or follows up after a delay on the channel they last used. Page goals and visit triggers need a one-line snippet on your site.

People, not creditsReached, replied, visited your site, converted, and the total value won.
Median time to convertHow long leads take from first message to sale, so follow-up runs for the right length.
First channel and closing channelWhere each lead started, and where they were when they booked.
Pages that come before a saleWhat the leads you already know read before they converted.
A journey per personEvery chat, DM, text, call, email, visit and booking, in order, on one row.
Follow-up on a return visitThey open the pricing page again, and the agent follows up on their last channel.
Journey view

Every event for one person

Built from the cookie, email address and phone number attached to that contact, so activity months apart on different channels appears on one row.

A journey row for one contact: their address, then every email reply in order along a single line, with earlier events folded up behind a +5.
Visit triggers

Follow up on a return visit

Page goals and visit triggers require a one-line snippet on your website. Conversations, bookings and manually marking a deal won work without it.

A saved visit trigger: when a lead visits /thank-you, email me after 20 minutes, once per 7 days, with a fired count and an on switch.

Bold Agent Kit vs Make, side by side

The middle column is how Make handles each part of lead response, as its own website and help centre describe it. Make covers far more than this list; these are the jobs a lead-response system has to do.

Make is a general automation platform, and for designing processes across many apps it covers ground Bold Agent Kit does not attempt. For customer conversations specifically, Make gives you the canvas, the modules and the agents to build a system yourself, billed by credits; Bold Agent Kit gives you the built system, at $25 a month or $200 a year for the whole account, with your AI provider and your carrier billing you directly at cost. Plans, credit rates and allowances change, so check Make's pricing page for the current detail.

We checked Make’s public website on 11 September 2026 for this comparison. Plans and features change, so check make.com for the current detail. Make is a trademark of its owner, and Bold Agent Kit is not affiliated with or endorsed by it.

Switching, running both, or staying with Make

Three honest situations. Most teams comparing the two end up in one of them.

You drew lead response in Make: a webhook for the website form, a module watching the SMS provider, an AI agent to draft replies, a router for the answers, a calendar module and some way of remembering who is who. You want the outcome without owning the canvas. Rebuild it once as an agent: the instructions and knowledge files become a knowledge base, the channel modules become connected channels, and the scenarios that handled leads can be switched off.

If what you want is to automate work across many apps, Make is the better fit, and Bold Agent Kit is not a substitute for it. Its canvas, its 3,000+ pre-built apps, its routers and filters, its schedules and webhooks, and its AI agents that can call modules, scenarios and MCP servers as tools are there for designing processes of your own. Bold Agent Kit does one job, customer conversations and follow-up, and it does not automate the rest of a business.

It books your calendar, updates your CRM and knows what they bought

Connect the tools you already run and the agent works them like an assistant would: it takes appointments straight into your calendar, writes notes and outcomes back to the CRM, and reads your store to see what somebody has bought before it answers them.

Bookings are real, not guesses. It is only ever given slots that are genuinely free, and it can only take one it actually offered — so it cannot invent a time or double-book you. The same connection pulls a segment of past customers into a list when you want to run a campaign at them.

Powered by your own keys

Each agent uses a model on your own API key, in the same way it sends from your own mailbox and your own phone number. Sixteen providers are supported: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, xAI and Mistral; DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, Qwen and MiniMax; Groq, Together, Fireworks and OpenRouter; and Ollama or any other OpenAI-compatible endpoint you host yourself.

Bring your own credentials and you own the whole stack: your model provider, your mailboxes, your carrier, your CRM. We charge for the software and nothing else — no token markup, no metering, no credit packs — so your provider bills you direct at their rates, usually a few dollars a month per agent.

None of it matters if the email lands in spam

A new address sending forty cold emails a day gets filtered, and takes the domain with it. Mailboxes that opt into warm-up send each other ordinary mail on a ramp, starting at five a day. The receiving mailbox finds each message, moves it out of spam if it landed there, marks it read and replies to a share of them.

Each mailbox carries a health score out of 100 — SPF, DKIM and DMARC on the sending domain, seven days of real sends and bounces, and where its own warm-up mail is landing — with the reasons listed. A mailbox whose bounce rate or spam placement passes a threshold is pulled out of campaign rotation automatically, before it damages the domain.

From a scenario to an agent, in an afternoon

Three steps. Nothing is answered until you switch a channel on, and no campaign sends until you press Start, so you can build next to your scenarios and switch them off when you are ready.

Carry your Make agent's instructions across

Name the agent, choose a model and paste your key from one of sixteen providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, xAI, Mistral, DeepSeek, Groq, OpenRouter and the rest, or a model you host behind an OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Then move the material across: the knowledge files your Make agent used become documents, the facts buried in your prompts become data points, and the answers you gave to common questions become Q&A pairs.

Write the instructions last: how it should talk, which offer it may make, whether it should always ask for the booking, and when it should stop and fetch you. The routing your scenario did with routers and filters becomes a few plain rules in one place.

Connect the channels your modules were watching

Each trigger module in a lead-response scenario is watching a channel. Connect that channel to the agent instead: the mailbox with an app password or as an SMTP and IMAP host, the number through one of nine SMS carriers, Twilio for calls, one line of script for the chat widget, and your own app credentials for each DM platform.

Then connect the calendar to book into and the CRM to read, from the eighteen Bold Agent Kit supports, and bring your leads across as a CSV or as a segment pulled out of a connected CRM. Bookings, notes and outcomes are written back to that contact.

Switch a channel on, then switch the scenario off

Turn auto-reply on for one channel and watch the inbox. Genuine messages are answered from the knowledge base, once per thread, inside the daily and hourly caps. When that channel behaves the way you want, switch the next one on and turn off the scenario that used to handle it.

For the leads who went quiet, build a campaign of email, text and call steps, set its days, hours and time zone, and read the full plan on the review screen before you press Start. It stops on a reply, a booking or an opt-out, and pauses and resumes whenever you like.

One account, unlimited agents

One account runs unlimited agents, one per client, and nothing is shared between them. A knowledge base belongs to a single agent, and content from one agent is never used to generate replies for another.

Invite a client by email address and they get their own login, which opens onto the one agent you gave them: its conversations, its numbers, its analytics and a reply box. They cannot see your other clients, your API keys, your settings or your billing. Access is deny-by-default.

Is Bold Agent Kit better than Make?

For different buyers, each is the better choice. If you run a business, or an agency serving businesses, and you want every lead answered on chat, text, phone, email and DMs, booked into a real calendar slot and followed up, without designing and maintaining scenarios, Bold Agent Kit is the more direct fit, at one flat price. If you want to automate processes across many apps, design every step visually and run AI agents on internal work, Make is the better fit, and Bold Agent Kit does not try to replace it. You can also run the two side by side.

What is the difference between Bold Agent Kit and Make?

Make is a visual automation platform: you build scenarios, which are series of modules that move and transform data between its 3,000+ apps, and AI agents on the same canvas, all billed by credits. Bold Agent Kit is a finished product for one job: an AI agent that answers customer conversations on fifteen channels from one knowledge base, books real calendar slots and follows up until the lead books, buys or opts out. In Make you draw a lead-response system yourself; in Bold Agent Kit it is already drawn, for a flat $25 a month.

How does Make pricing compare with Bold Agent Kit pricing?

Make is billed by credits, which replaced operations as its billing unit: each module action counts as one credit, AI on Make's own provider adds credits by tokens, and plans are sized by monthly credit allowance, with extra credits sold in bundles. At the time of writing, its published paid plans start at $12 a month, billed monthly, for 10,000 credits. Bold Agent Kit is $25 a month or $200 a year for the whole account, with no credits, operations or seats. Your AI provider and your carrier bill you directly at cost. Check Make's pricing page for its current plans.

How do I move a lead-response scenario from Make to Bold Agent Kit?

Rebuild it as an agent rather than importing it, since there is no scenario to carry over. Copy your Make agent's instructions into the new agent, upload its knowledge files as documents, and turn the facts in your prompts into data points and Q&A pairs. Connect the mailbox, number, chat widget and DM accounts your trigger modules were watching, then your calendar and CRM. Import your leads as a CSV or as a CRM segment. Switch one channel on, check the inbox, and turn off the matching scenario when you are satisfied.

Does Bold Agent Kit connect to Make?

No. There is no Make integration in Bold Agent Kit, and nothing passes between the two. Bold Agent Kit connects directly to the channels it works on, your mailboxes, nine SMS carriers, Twilio, the website widget and eleven DM platforms, and to eighteen CRMs, calendars and stores, including HubSpot, GoHighLevel, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Google Calendar, Calendly, Stripe and Shopify. If you use both, run them side by side for different jobs: Make for your internal operations, Bold Agent Kit for your customer conversations, each keeping its own records.

When is Make the better choice?

When the work is wider than customer conversations. If you need to move and transform data across many apps, automate internal processes, design each step visually with routers and filters, schedule runs or start them by webhook, or put AI agents to work on internal tasks with modules, scenarios and MCP servers as their tools, Make covers that and Bold Agent Kit does not. It is also the better choice when you need tools outside Bold Agent Kit's eighteen integrations. If lead response is one small part of a bigger automation picture, Make may be the right home for the rest.

Make lets me use my own AI key too. What is different?

Both let you bring a model key. Make's help centre says custom AI provider connections, such as OpenAI and Anthropic Claude, are available on its paid plans, and that an agent run on your own connection still uses one credit per operation, with your provider billing the tokens. In Bold Agent Kit your key, with any of sixteen providers or a model you host yourself, is billed by your provider at cost, and nothing else is metered: no credits, no operations and no per-message charge, whether the agent has ten conversations in a month or ten thousand.

Is Make the same as Integromat?

Make is what Integromat became. Make's own site says Make is the name of its brand, its business and its flagship platform, and describes Integromat as a legacy product, with existing customers given the chance to move across to Make. So comparing Bold Agent Kit with Integromat today means comparing it with Make. The difference is the same either way: Make is a platform for building automations and agents across many apps, and Bold Agent Kit is a finished AI agent for customer conversations, booking and follow-up, at one flat price.
