Is Bold Agent Kit better than Lindy?
It depends on the job and on who is buying. For a team that wants an assistant in Slack to run inboxes, prepare for meetings, research and update tools across many apps, Lindy is built for that and Bold Agent Kit is not. For a business that wants the people who contact it answered on email, text, phone, website chat and social DMs, booked into a real calendar slot and followed up until they reply or opt out, Bold Agent Kit is built for exactly that, at $25 a month for the account. Neither is better in general. They do different work, for different people.
What is the difference between Bold Agent Kit and Lindy?
Lindy is a general AI assistant for your team. Its documentation describes it living in Slack, connecting to more than 1,000 tools, running the inbox and meetings, and learning skills and routines you describe in plain English, priced per user with pooled credits. Bold Agent Kit is a ready-made sales and service agent that talks to your customers on fifteen channels, answers from a knowledge base you give it, books real calendar slots and follows up on a schedule you set, for $25 a month for the account on your own AI key. One works for your staff; the other talks to your customers.
How does Bold Agent Kit pricing compare with Lindy pricing?
Lindy is priced per user per month, and each seat adds a set number of credits to a pool the whole workspace shares. Credits refresh each billing cycle and do not roll over, and top-ups are available. At the time of writing, its published plans start at $29.99 a month per user. Bold Agent Kit is $25 a month or $200 a year for the account, with a 7-day free trial, unlimited agents and no seat, credit or per-message charge. The AI runs on your own key, billed by your provider at cost, and texts and calls run on your own carrier account.
Can I move my Lindy set-up across to Bold Agent Kit?
Not by import. The two are not connected, and nothing moves across automatically. What moves is the substance: the way you answer customers, whether it lives in skills you wrote for Lindy or in your head, becomes Q&A pairs, data points and instructions in the agent's knowledge base. Your documents upload as PDF or Word, and the pages of your own site are read and linked verbatim. Contacts come in as a CSV or as a segment from a connected CRM such as HubSpot or GoHighLevel. An agent can be answering on its first channel the same afternoon, and you can keep Lindy for internal work.
When is Lindy the better choice?
When the work is for your team rather than for your customers. If you want an assistant in Slack that runs people's inboxes, prepares for and records meetings, writes the daily brief, researches, and updates tools across many of the more than 1,000 apps it connects to, Lindy is designed for that and Bold Agent Kit is not. It is also the better choice when you want one assistant taught many different procedures for many departments. Bold Agent Kit does one job: answering, booking and following up the people who contact your business, on the channels they already use.
Does Bold Agent Kit connect to Lindy or to Slack?
It does not connect to Lindy. The two run side by side for different jobs, and each has its own set-up and its own inbox. Slack appears in Bold Agent Kit in a different role: it is one of the eleven DM platforms the agent can answer, connected with your own app credentials, alongside Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Viber, Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and X. That is for people messaging your business, such as members of a community you run, rather than for your staff asking an assistant to do internal work.
Can Bold Agent Kit book appointments for customers?
Yes, and it books rather than sending a link. Connect one of eight calendars, including Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, Cal.com, Acuity Scheduling, Zoho Bookings, Square Appointments and HubSpot Meetings, and the agent is given your real open slots for the week ahead. It offers a few in the conversation; when the customer picks one, the choice is checked against what was offered, written to your calendar and confirmed in the reply. It cannot book a time that was not free. The booking is recorded against that contact and written back to a connected CRM.
Which AI model does Bold Agent Kit use?
Whichever you choose, on your own key. Sixteen providers are supported: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, xAI and Mistral; DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, Qwen and MiniMax; Groq, Together, Fireworks and OpenRouter; and Ollama or any other OpenAI-compatible endpoint you host yourself. Your provider bills you directly at its own rates, usually a few dollars a month for a busy agent on a small model, and we sell no credits and add no markup. On a phone call the agent switches to your provider's fastest model so it does not leave silences. Keys are stored encrypted.
