The best AiSDR alternatives
for founders and lean sales teams.

The best AiSDR alternatives for a founder or a small revenue team depend on what you want the money to buy: prospects researched for you, more sending capacity, or every lead you already have followed up and booked. This list ranks six, from AI SDRs to cold email platforms to one agent on every channel at a flat price, with who each one suits and how it charges.

Every channel wired into one agent and out to the tools behind it: email, SMS, phone, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Slack, Discord, X, Reddit, Bluesky, website chat, campaign sequences and follow-ups on one side; HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, HubSpot Meetings, Zoho Bookings, Acuity Scheduling, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace on the other.

Why founders and small teams look for AiSDR alternatives

AiSDR is an AI sales development rep for teams that want pipeline without adding headcount. Its site describes it finding prospects with a live AI search built on the buying signals you describe, researching each one, writing personalised messages, and running them as a multi-channel sequence with conditional logic across email and LinkedIn, with voice notes, videos and other media in the mix. It answers replies, handles objections and books meetings into your calendar, and its AI strategist, Ami, helps plan the campaigns. HubSpot is a native two-way integration, Salesforce sync is available, and phone work runs through an Aircall integration.

It also publishes its prices, which makes the reasons people look around easy to see. At the time of writing, its published plans start at $250 a month on Solo, billed month to month, for 200 AI-researched contacts, one user, one domain, three mailboxes and one LinkedIn account. Explore and Scale add contacts, users, domains, mailboxes and LinkedIn accounts on quarterly contracts billed monthly, and Salesforce sync comes with Scale. So the plan is measured in contacts researched a month, with the sending capacity counted alongside it.

That is a clear model for a team whose problem is finding the next few hundred prospects. It sends people looking in three situations: when the list already exists and research is not the bottleneck; when the team wants more sending capacity than the plan it can justify; and when it wants channels beyond the email and LinkedIn its plans list, such as text messages, or an AI that places the call itself.

This page ranks six AiSDR alternatives for founders and lean sales teams, each described from its own website, with how it charges and when it is the better choice. Bold Agent Kit is first, for teams whose leads already exist: one agent working them by email, text and call, answering the replies and the inbound, for $25 a month for the account. After it come the other AI SDRs, then the outbound platforms where you trade some autonomy for volume and control.

Four reasons founders move on from AiSDR

AiSDR publishes its plans in full, so the trade-offs are on its own pricing page. These are the four that come up most.

01

The meter is research, and the list may already exist

Every AiSDR plan is measured in AI-researched contacts a month: 200 on Solo, 800 on Explore and 2,500 on Scale at the time of writing. That is the right unit when finding and researching net-new prospects is the work. A founder with a CRM full of past customers, stalled deals and old enquiries needs those people followed up, not researched again, and a plan measured in new contacts is measuring the part they already have.

02

More capacity means a bigger plan and a longer term

Solo is month to month, with one user, one domain, three mailboxes and one LinkedIn account. Explore and Scale add users, domains, mailboxes and LinkedIn accounts, and both are quarterly contracts billed monthly. A team that wants a fourth mailbox or a second user steps up a plan, and a term, to get it. For some teams that is fine; others want sending capacity that does not change the price at all.

03

The channels on the plan are email and LinkedIn

AiSDR's plans list email through Gmail or Outlook and LinkedIn connection requests, direct messages and InMail, with voice notes, videos and other media in the sequence; phone work runs through its Aircall integration, with call summaries and follow-up. For B2B prospecting that is the core. A business whose buyers answer text messages, or that wants the day 5 call placed and spoken by the AI to everyone still silent, is looking for more channels inside the sequence itself.

04

Salesforce sync sits on the top plan

HubSpot is a native two-way integration on every plan, and AiSDR is built comfortably around it, reading and writing CRM data for its strategist. Salesforce sync is listed on Scale only, at the time of writing. A small team on Salesforce, or one that expects to move to it, finds the CRM it runs deciding which plan it buys, before any question of how much outreach it needs.

What to look for in an AiSDR alternative

For a founder or a small team, the right alternative is the one that spends the budget on the bottleneck. Three things decide it.

01 / Bottleneck

Research, volume or follow-up

If finding and researching prospects is the hard part, stay with an AI SDR that includes it. If you have the prospects and need to send more, a cold email platform with unlimited mailboxes fits. If you have the leads and they go quiet after the second touch, what you need is follow-up across channels and every reply answered, and neither research nor raw volume fixes that.

02 / Meter

What the price moves with

Researched contacts, active contacts, uploaded contacts, emails sent, seats, mailboxes, or nothing at all. Read the unit before the number. A plan that moves with the list penalises a big list; a plan that moves with seats penalises a growing team; a flat plan moves with neither, and the only usage you pay for is your own provider's.

03 / Channels

The channels your buyers answer

Email and LinkedIn cover a lot of B2B. Some buyers answer a text; some only pick up the phone; some reply on WhatsApp or Instagram; some come back through your website chat a week later. Check which channels are in the sequence itself, which are add-ons, and whether the AI works the reply on each one or hands it back to you.

The best AiSDR alternatives, ranked

Bold Agent Kit is first, for founders and small teams whose leads already exist and who need them followed up on every channel. After it, the list runs from the tools that work most like AiSDR to the ones that trade autonomy for volume: Reply.io and Artisan, AI SDRs that find and work prospects; then lemlist, a multichannel outbound platform with AI agents; then Instantly and Smartlead, cold email platforms with unlimited mailboxes for teams that want to send more and steer it themselves.

We make Bold Agent Kit, which is why it is first on this list. Every other entry is described from its own website, including when it is the better choice.

01 / Best for founders with leads who want every one followed up

Bold Agent Kit

Bold Agent Kit is one AI agent that works the list you already have, on more channels than email, for one flat price. A campaign sends an email on day 0 from your own mailbox, a text on day 2 from your own number through Twilio, Telnyx or one of seven other carriers, and a call on day 5 that the agent places on your Twilio number and speaks in real time. Each step has a send condition, opened, not opened, clicked or not clicked, and the schedule holds to your days, hours and time zone. When someone replies, the agent answers from your documents, Q&A pairs and prices, and books a real open slot in your calendar.

Nothing about the price moves with the list. It is $25 a month or $200 a year for the whole account, with a 7-day free trial, unlimited agents, contacts, lists and mailboxes, and no per-seat or per-contact charge. Each mailbox warms up on a ramp from five a day, carries a health score out of 100 and leaves rotation on its own if its bounces or spam placement slip. The model runs on your own key with one of sixteen providers, and your carrier bills texts and calls, both at cost. The same agent answers the website chat, the phone and DMs on eleven platforms, into one inbox.

Choose it when the leads exist and the bottleneck is the follow-up. It does not research prospects and has no contact database: lists come from a CSV, a segment of a connected CRM such as HubSpot, or the Chrome side panel as you browse. It does not automate LinkedIn or connect to Salesforce, so if LinkedIn steps are the core of your outbound, AiSDR or a tool further down may suit that part better.

02 / Best for an AI SDR with data, LinkedIn and your own sequences

Reply.io

Reply.io is close to AiSDR in kind: an AI SDR, Jason, on a platform that also runs sequences for your team. Jason finds prospects from an ideal-customer description you write in plain language, researches them across LinkedIn, company websites and other sources, drawing on data from more than a billion B2B contacts, and reaches them by email and LinkedIn, in more than 50 languages. It answers replies from the company information, product details and objection handling you give it, in autopilot or approval mode, and books meetings against real-time Google Calendar availability. When a call would help, it adds a call step as a task with a personalised script.

At the time of writing, its published plans start at $49 a month per user, billed annually, for the Email Volume plans, which move up in tiers of active contacts, with LinkedIn automation and Calls & SMS as add-ons. The Multichannel plan bundles those channels per user and has a 14-day trial. Jason's own plans start at $500 a month, billed annually, for 1,000 active contacts, with unlimited users, unlimited mailboxes and warm-ups under a fair usage policy, and LinkedIn accounts included. Monthly billing is available at a higher rate.

Choose Reply.io if you like what AiSDR does but want a large contact database built in, mailboxes that are not counted per plan, a choice of AI engine among Claude, Gemini, Mistral and OpenAI, and room for your own team to sequence alongside the AI.

03 / Best for an AI BDR with a large B2B database and a team behind it

Artisan

Artisan's AI BDR, Ava, does the same kind of job as AiSDR at a larger default scale. Its site describes her searching more than 250 million verified B2B contacts across over 200 countries, enriching them from more than 22 sources, prioritising by intent signals such as hiring and funding activity and website visits, writing each email individually, sending by email and social from your own domains in your reps' names, handling replies and booking meetings on your reps' calendars. Salesforce and HubSpot sync in both directions on every plan, and custom webhooks bring in your own data.

Pricing is scoped rather than published: plans are sized to your lead volume, mailboxes and dialer seats, about 2,500 leads contacted a month on Team and 6,000 on Scale, and every plan comes with CSM support and onboarding. You can require approval before sending, lock tone and calls to action, and set banned phrases. Its FAQ says Ava does not make calls; she queues qualified prospects in a dialer, an add-on per seat, for your reps. Its site also says Ava is free to start, so you can see her working before a paid plan.

Choose Artisan if you have outgrown the contact volumes you were buying on AiSDR and want a database of more than 250 million contacts, Salesforce sync on any plan and a team to help roll it out, and you are comfortable agreeing the price with its sales team.

04 / Best for LinkedIn-led outbound with WhatsApp, SMS and calls added

lemlist

lemlist is the alternative for teams who value AiSDR's LinkedIn steps and want more channels around them. It runs email, LinkedIn, calls, WhatsApp and SMS from one workflow, with a lead database of more than 650 million, an email and phone finder and verifier, and lemwarm, its warm-up tool, with every seat. Its AI agents, including lemAgent and agents for intent signals and data enrichment, research leads, spot buying signals and personalise the outreach, and it connects to Salesforce and HubSpot, with an API, MCP support and more than 500 integrations.

At the time of writing, its published plans start at $69 a month, or $55 a month billed annually, for the Email plan, with 50,000 emails a month and unlimited users. The Multichannel plan, which adds LinkedIn, SMS and WhatsApp automation and a built-in dialer, is priced per user and comes with a 14-day free trial, no card required. Finding emails and phone numbers uses credits.

Choose lemlist if you want to design and run the sequences yourself, with AI agents helping on research and personalisation, across more channels than email and LinkedIn, on a plan you can pay month to month.

05 / Best for high-volume cold email across unlimited mailboxes

Instantly

Instantly is a cold email platform for teams that want to send more, from more mailboxes, and steer it themselves. Every Outreach plan includes unlimited email accounts and unlimited warm-up, and the platform adds a B2B lead database, a CRM, and AI agents, including an AI Reply Agent and AI sales agents, plus a copilot mode that finds leads, writes copy and builds campaigns from start to finish. It reports on opportunities, pipeline, conversions and revenue as well as sends.

At the time of writing, its published plans start at $47 a month for the Growth Outreach plan, with 5,000 emails and 1,000 uploaded contacts a month, and the higher plans raise both. Lead data runs on separate credits plans, bundles combine the two, and the AI Reply Agent is listed in the bundles from Scale up. Its pricing page says no credit card is required to get started.

Choose Instantly if the mailbox counts on your AiSDR plan were the constraint and you are happy to write and run the campaigns yourself, with AI help where you want it. It suits agencies, freelancers and founders who send cold email at volume.

06 / Best for agencies and senders who want control of deliverability

Smartlead

Smartlead is cold email infrastructure first. It lets you add unlimited mailboxes and store unlimited leads, with done-for-you setup on Google and Outlook, dedicated-tenant infrastructure and IPs, a warm-up pool that simulates real opens, reads and replies, and SPF, DKIM and DMARC handled for you. Beyond email it offers calling from the same dashboard with parallel dialling and local-presence numbers, AI agents that research leads, write personalised emails and update your CRM, and SmartProspect for verified leads. It also has features for agencies, including client access.

At the time of writing, its published plans start at $39 a month for Base, with 6,000 sends and 2,000 verified prospect emails a month, rising through Pro, Unlimited Smart and Unlimited Prime, with a discount for paying yearly. All plans include unlimited email accounts and warm-up, and you can try it free without a card and pick a plan later. Mailbox provisioning, deliverability testing, the dialer, verification credits and dedicated servers are add-ons.

Choose Smartlead if what held you back on AiSDR was sending capacity and control over deliverability, and you would rather run the infrastructure and the campaigns yourself, adding AI agents where they help.

For comparison, AiSDR prices by AI-researched contacts a month, and at the time of writing its published plans start at $250 a month on Solo, month to month, with Explore and Scale on quarterly contracts. Bold Agent Kit is $25 a month or $200 a year for the account, plus your own AI and carrier usage at cost.

Which AiSDR alternative is right for you

If AiSDR's model suits you and you want another AI SDR to compare, Reply.io is close in shape, pairing Jason with a sequencing platform and a large contact database on published plans. Artisan is the larger-scale option, with its own database, CRM sync on every plan and a rollout team, priced through its sales team.

If LinkedIn is the channel you rely on and you want more around it, lemlist adds WhatsApp, SMS and calls to LinkedIn and email. If sending capacity was the constraint, Instantly and Smartlead both include unlimited mailboxes and warm-up on every plan, and leave the campaigns in your hands, with AI agents available when you want them.

And if you already have the leads, and what they need is following up by email, text and a call the agent makes itself, the replies answered, the meeting booked and the website chat and DMs answered too, Bold Agent Kit does that for $25 a month for the account, whatever the size of the list. The full side-by-side is on the Bold Agent Kit vs AiSDR page.

What is the best AiSDR alternative?

It depends on your bottleneck. If you want another AI SDR that finds and researches prospects, Reply.io is close in shape, with Jason on published plans and a sequencing platform alongside, and Artisan suits teams wanting a large database and a rollout team. If LinkedIn plus more channels matters, look at lemlist. If sending volume matters, Instantly or Smartlead, both with unlimited mailboxes. If your leads already exist and you want one agent following them up by email, text and call, answering replies and inbound, and booking meetings, Bold Agent Kit, at $25 a month for the account.

Why do people switch from AiSDR?

Usually because the pricing unit or the channels do not match their situation. AiSDR prices by AI-researched contacts a month, which suits net-new prospecting but less so a team whose list already exists. Plans above Solo are quarterly contracts, and domains, mailboxes and LinkedIn accounts are fixed per plan, so more capacity means a bigger plan. The plans list email and LinkedIn, with phone work through Aircall, and Salesforce sync is on Scale. None of that is a flaw; it is a shape that fits some teams better than others.

How is Bold Agent Kit different from AiSDR?

AiSDR is an AI SDR that finds and researches prospects, then works them by email and LinkedIn, priced by researched contacts a month. Bold Agent Kit does not research prospects or include data; it works the list you bring, by email, text and a call the agent places and speaks itself, as one sequence with send conditions and stop rules. It answers replies from your material, books real calendar slots, and answers website chat, calls and DMs on eleven platforms too. It costs $25 a month for the account, with unlimited mailboxes and contacts. The full side-by-side is on our Bold Agent Kit vs AiSDR comparison page.

How do I move from AiSDR to another tool?

Start with the CRM. AiSDR syncs two ways with HubSpot, and with Salesforce on Scale, so your prospects and their activity are usually already there; export them as a CSV, or in Bold Agent Kit pull a HubSpot segment straight into a list. Save the sequences, openers and objection answers that worked, since they carry over. AiSDR sends through Gmail or Outlook, so if those mailboxes sit in your own Google or Microsoft account, connect them to the new tool, with an app password in Bold Agent Kit, and keep warm-up running. Check your term first: Solo is month to month, Explore and Scale quarterly.

Which AiSDR alternatives offer a free trial?

At the time of writing, Bold Agent Kit has a 7-day free trial, then runs month to month at $25 or $200 a year. lemlist offers a 14-day free trial on its Multichannel plan without a card, Reply.io a 14-day trial on its Multichannel plan, and Smartlead lets you start free without a card and pick a plan later. Instantly says no credit card is required to get started, and Artisan's site says Ava is free to start. AiSDR's own Solo plan is month to month. Trial terms change, so check each vendor's page before relying on them.

Is an AI SDR better than a cold email tool?

They solve different problems. An AI SDR such as AiSDR, Reply.io's Jason or Artisan's Ava researches prospects, writes to them and works the replies, and is priced around the prospects it handles. A cold email platform such as Instantly or Smartlead gives you the sending capacity, mailboxes and deliverability, and leaves the campaigns to you, with AI agents available for replies and research. Bold Agent Kit sits between the two: it does not find prospects, but it sends from unlimited warmed mailboxes, adds text and call steps, and has the agent answer every reply and book the meeting.

Can an AiSDR alternative send text messages and make calls?

Several can. In Bold Agent Kit, a text and a call are steps in the same sequence as the email: the text goes from your own number through one of nine carriers, the agent places the call on your Twilio number, speaks in real time and keeps the recording and transcript, and a reply, booking or opt-out on any channel stops the lot. Reply.io offers calls and SMS on its Multichannel plan or as an add-on, lemlist includes SMS and a built-in dialer on its Multichannel plan, and Smartlead offers calling through its dialer add-on.

Does Bold Agent Kit automate LinkedIn?

No. It does not send LinkedIn connection requests, messages or InMail, and it does not connect to Salesforce. It works email, text, calls, website chat and DMs on eleven platforms including Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp and X, and connects to HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace and eight calendars. If LinkedIn steps are the heart of your outbound, AiSDR, Reply.io or lemlist cover them, and some teams run one of those for LinkedIn alongside Bold Agent Kit for the rest of the follow-up.
