Looking for Relevance AI alternatives? Relevance AI is a platform for building specialised AI agents and linking them into workforces, billed in Actions and Vendor Credits. Here are six options ranked for a business whose main use is customer conversations, from a ready-made sales and service agent to the general builders, with who each one suits and how each charges.

Every channel wired into one agent and out to the tools behind it: email, SMS, phone, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Slack, Discord, X, Reddit, Bluesky, website chat, campaign sequences and follow-ups on one side; HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, HubSpot Meetings, Zoho Bookings, Acuity Scheduling, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace on the other.

Why people look for Relevance AI alternatives

Relevance AI describes itself as a platform for building and deploying specialised AI agents. It pairs a no-code builder with agent orchestration, routing across model providers, evaluation and tracing, and it lets you link agents into workforces that pass work between them. Its site lists uses across sales, from lead enrichment and meeting preparation to prospecting, deal review and proposals, as well as support triage, operations work such as invoice matching and contract review, and marketing and customer success. Agents can be started from more than 1,000 integrations, on a schedule, by webhook or through its API.

That breadth is why people shortlist it, and also why some keep looking. Relevance AI is a place to build. The agents, the tools they call, the triggers that start them and the evaluations that test them are designed by your own team, and its pricing counts two things: Actions, one for each run of a tool, and Vendor Credits for the model and tool costs, unless you bring your own keys. Teams with a builder on staff and a list of internal jobs to automate often find that a comfortable fit.

The people who search for a Relevance AI alternative tend to want one of two things. Some want a different builder: one with a larger app catalogue, a visual canvas, a self-hosted option, a free plan to start on, or a pricing unit they find easier to forecast. Others came for a narrower job. They want the enquiries that reach the business answered, on the website chat, the business number, the inbox and the social accounts, with the appointment booked and the follow-up handled, and they would rather not design a workforce to get there.

This list is ordered for the second group, a buyer whose main use is customer-facing conversations, and it is honest that most of the alternatives are other general builders. Bold Agent Kit, the ready-made option for sales and service conversations, comes first. Voiceflow, built for teams designing customer-facing agents, comes next. Zapier, n8n, Make and Lindy follow, each with a fair account of the work it is the better choice for.

Four reasons teams look past Relevance AI

None of these is a fault in Relevance AI. They follow from its published scope, a platform for building specialised agents, and from the way its own pages describe its pricing.

01

Somebody has to design the workforce

Relevance AI gives you the parts: agents, the tools they call, triggers from integrations, schedules, webhooks and an API, a flow builder for decisions, and workforces that let agents delegate to one another. That is what a team building its own agents wants. A business that simply needs enquiries answered finds that the design, the testing and the upkeep all sit with them, and in a small team that work tends to wait until someone has a free week.

02

Two meters to watch

Relevance AI's documentation counts an Action each time an agent runs a tool, whether that sends one email or runs a workflow with many steps, and counts it even when the tool fails. Vendor Credits cover the model and tool costs, which it says are charged at wholesale with no markup, and you can bring your own API keys to skip them. Actions are still counted either way. A customer desk runs tools on almost every enquiry, so a busier month means a larger allowance.

03

The price is arranged through sales

Relevance AI's main pricing page presents an Enterprise plan with custom Actions and Vendor Credits, unlimited users and projects and a dedicated account manager, reached by talking to sales. That suits a company buying agents for several departments at once. A small business or an agency that wants to see what a month will cost before it speaks to anyone has one more step to take, and usually wants a figure it can put in a budget.

04

Local enquiries arrive on other channels

Relevance AI's sales material centres on B2B work: research across sources such as LinkedIn, CRM data and business registries, outreach and replies over email and LinkedIn, and phone agents that make outbound calls. A trades business, a clinic or a salon usually hears from customers another way, by website chat, a text to the business number, a missed call or an Instagram DM. On a builder, those are integrations you connect and design around, rather than a desk that arrives set up.

What to look for in a Relevance AI alternative

Three things decide whether an alternative will actually cover the job. Check each one against your own week, not against a demo.

01 / Channels

The channels your customers already use

List where enquiries really arrive: the shared mailbox, the business number by text and by phone, the chat on your website, and the social accounts people message. Then check, for each tool, whether that channel is part of the product or an integration you connect and build around. An agent that works four of your five channels still leaves somebody watching the fifth, usually the one where the best leads arrive.

02 / Upkeep

Who builds it, and who keeps it working

Builders give you control over every tool call and every branch, and they need an owner: someone to design the agent, test it, change it when an offer changes and fix it when a connected app does. A ready-made agent asks you for material and rules instead. Neither is wrong. Pick the one that matches the people you actually have, not the team you hope to hire.

03 / Meter

What a busy month costs

Relevance AI counts Actions and Vendor Credits; the alternatives count tasks and activities, credits per module, executions per workflow run, seats with pooled credits, or a flat fee. Work out your busiest month in each tool's unit, read its current pricing page, and note who bills you for the model: the platform, as credits, or your own provider, at cost.

The best Relevance AI alternatives, ranked for customer conversations

The ranking assumes your main use is customer-facing conversations: answering enquiries, booking appointments and following up. Bold Agent Kit is the ready-made option for exactly that. Voiceflow is a platform for designing customer-facing agents. Zapier, n8n and Make are general builders that can be assembled into a customer desk, and Lindy is an assistant for your own team, which is why it comes last here and may come first for other jobs.

We make Bold Agent Kit, which is why it is first on this list. Every other entry is described from its own website, including when it is the better choice.

01 / Best for sales and service conversations on the channels you already use

Bold Agent Kit

Bold Agent Kit is the sales and service agent already built, for a business that would rather not design one. You give it a knowledge base, which is your documents, your Q&A pairs, your prices, hours and lead times as data points, and the pages of your own site it may link to, and you write its instructions: how it talks, what it may offer and when it should fetch a person. There are no tools to define, no triggers to wire and no workforce to arrange.

The same agent then works fifteen channels: email from your own mailboxes, texts through nine carriers, phone calls on your own Twilio number, a website chat widget, and eleven DM platforms including Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger. It answers genuine enquiries in seconds, offers real open slots from your calendar and books the one the customer picks, and runs follow-up campaigns of email, text and call steps that stop the moment the person replies, books or opts out. Where Relevance AI counts Actions and Vendor Credits, this is $25 a month for the account, with the model on your own key, billed by your provider at cost.

Choose it if your agents would mostly be talking to customers and you want them live this week. Choose a builder instead if you need agents on internal work, B2B research, or tools beyond Bold Agent Kit's eighteen integrations: HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan and Jobber, eight calendars, and Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace.

02 / Best for teams designing customer-facing agents across web, app and voice

Voiceflow

Voiceflow is an AI agent platform aimed at customer experience teams. Where Relevance AI spreads across sales, operations and marketing, Voiceflow concentrates on the conversation a customer starts: its site describes one agent running across web, app, WhatsApp, SMS and voice at once, a visual Agent Builder, a Workflow Builder for scripted flows that run the same way every time, Playbooks written in natural language, custom code and API connections, and separate development, staging and production environments.

Like Relevance AI, it is a place to build, and it is built for the people who design conversations: product teams, CX and support leads and engineers. It connects natively to tools such as Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot, Shopify, Airtable, Google Sheets and Gmail, and lets you choose among the large model providers or bring your own model. Its documentation describes a bill made up of a plan fee, add-ons such as editor seats and phone numbers, and credits used as agents generate responses and make calls.

Choose Voiceflow if customer conversations are the job and you have a team that wants to design them in depth, especially inside your own app or product. If you want the channels and the booking working without a design phase, a ready-made agent is the shorter route.

03 / Best for connecting AI agents and chatbots to thousands of apps

Zapier

Zapier connects more than 9,000 apps, by its homepage's count, and has grown from Zaps, workflows of a trigger and one or more actions, into a platform its homepage describes as being for building and governing AI workflows, agents and apps. Zapier Agents work from instructions, triggers, actions and knowledge sources; Zapier Chatbots take FAQs, documents and public links and can collect leads; and Forms, Tables and Canvas sit alongside them.

Compared with Relevance AI, Zapier starts from the app catalogue: agents and chatbots are one part of a wider automation platform rather than the centre of it. Its billing is split too, tasks for Zaps, where every successful action counts, and activities for Agents, on a separate allowance, and there is a free plan with 100 tasks a month to start on before you choose a paid tier.

Choose Zapier if your agents need to reach a very wide range of apps, or if much of your automation is ordinary workflow with AI in some of the steps. For a customer desk across texts, calls and DMs, with booking and follow-up that stops everywhere on a reply, you would assemble the channel apps and the logic in Zaps.

04 / Best for developers who want agents and workflows on their own servers

n8n

n8n is a workflow automation platform for building AI agents and automations, visually or in code, on n8n's cloud or on your own infrastructure. Its Agent Builder sets a model, instructions, tools, skills, knowledge, memory and sub-agents, its documentation names Slack, Telegram and Linear as channels people can reach an agent on, and its Chat Trigger gives you a hosted chat page or a chat you embed yourself. Its homepage lists more than 500 integrations, with custom API calls for everything else.

Relevance AI users tend to look at n8n for two reasons: control and the pricing unit. On n8n Cloud, an execution is one run of an entire workflow, however many steps it has, and the self-hosted Community Edition is free, with, in n8n's words, almost the complete feature set, under its fair-code Sustainable Use License. Its guide to choosing between Cloud and self-hosting says the latter needs technical expertise to install and configure.

Choose n8n if you have a developer, want every decision an agent makes visible on the canvas, and would like the option to run it all yourself. For customer conversations you would build the chat, the channels, the booking and the stop rules from nodes, and every message into its Chat Trigger runs the workflow once.

05 / Best for mapping processes and agents visually across 3,000+ apps

Make

Make, formerly Integromat, is a visual automation platform. A scenario is a series of modules drawn on a canvas that moves and transforms data between apps, and its homepage counts more than 3,000 pre-built apps. Make AI Agents are built on the same canvas, on Make's own AI provider or on your own model key, and Maia by Make builds automations and agents from a conversation.

For a Relevance AI user, Make trades workforces of specialised agents for a canvas on which agents sit among ordinary automation steps, with routers and filters in plain view. Scenarios run on a schedule, every 15 minutes by default and adjustable, or immediately from a webhook or an instant trigger. It is billed in credits, one per module action, with plans sized by monthly credit allowance and a free plan to start on.

Choose Make if you want to see and edit every step of a process across many apps, and put agents into it where they help. For a customer desk, the channel apps, the booking logic and the record of who is who are yours to draw.

06 / Best for an AI assistant for the people on your own team

Lindy

Lindy is an AI teammate for the people inside a business. It lives in Slack, where a team shares one Lindy and each person has their own, connects to each person's email and calendar, and is taught skills and routines in plain English. Its documentation covers email drafting and labelling, follow-up bumps, meeting preparation and recording, scheduling and a daily brief, and its homepage lists more than 1,000 integrations and support for MCP servers.

Where Relevance AI asks you to build specialised agents, Lindy asks you to describe how you work and lets one assistant pick it up. That suits teams who want AI help across many internal tasks without building anything that looks like a workflow. It is priced per user, and each seat adds credits to a shared pool that refreshes monthly and does not roll over.

Choose Lindy if the work you meant to automate with Relevance AI was your team's own: research, inboxes, meetings, CRM updates and reports. It comes last on this list only because the list is ordered for conversations with customers, which is not the side of the business Lindy is set up around.

Relevance AI and the general builders on this list can be pointed at far more kinds of work than Bold Agent Kit, and for B2B research, internal operations or agents that call many tools they may be the right home. Bold Agent Kit is built for one job, sales and service conversations on fifteen channels, with booking and follow-up, at $25 a month or $200 a year for the account, with your AI provider and your carrier billing you directly at cost. Allowances and prices change, so check each vendor's current pricing page.

We checked each tool’s public website on 11 September 2026 for this page. Plans and features change, so check each vendor’s own site for the current detail. Product names are trademarks of their owners, and Bold Agent Kit is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

Which Relevance AI alternative fits you?

If your agents would mostly be talking to customers, choose a tool that starts with the customer. Bold Agent Kit is the ready-made choice: one agent that answers email, texts, calls, website chat and eleven DM platforms from your own material, books real calendar slots and follows up until the person books, buys or opts out, for $25 a month for the account on your own AI key. If you have a CX or product team that wants to design customer-facing agents in depth, including inside your own app, Voiceflow is made for that.

If you want to keep building, pick the builder whose shape suits you. Zapier, for agents and chatbots that reach a very wide range of apps, with a free plan to start. n8n, for developers who want workflows and agents they can see step by step and host themselves. Make, for mapping processes visually with agents inside them. And if what you really wanted was an assistant for your own staff, Lindy is built around your team.

Relevance AI itself remains a natural fit for teams building several specialised agents for B2B sales and operations, with someone to design and evaluate them. Plenty of businesses will run a builder like it for internal work and a ready-made agent for customer conversations, side by side.

Powered by your own keys

Each agent uses a model on your own API key, in the same way it sends from your own mailbox and your own phone number. Sixteen providers are supported: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, xAI and Mistral; DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, Qwen and MiniMax; Groq, Together, Fireworks and OpenRouter; and Ollama or any other OpenAI-compatible endpoint you host yourself.

Bring your own credentials and you own the whole stack: your model provider, your mailboxes, your carrier, your CRM. We charge for the software and nothing else — no token markup, no metering, no credit packs — so your provider bills you direct at their rates, usually a few dollars a month per agent.

What is the best Relevance AI alternative?

That depends on the job you had in mind. For answering and booking customers across email, texts, calls, website chat and social DMs, Bold Agent Kit is the ready-made option, at $25 a month for the account. For a CX or product team designing customer-facing agents, Voiceflow. For agents that need to reach thousands of apps, Zapier. For self-hosted, developer-led workflows and agents, n8n. For mapping processes visually, Make. For an AI assistant that works for your own team, Lindy. If you are building specialised B2B sales and operations agents, Relevance AI may already fit.

Why do people switch from Relevance AI?

Most leave because of the shape of the work rather than any single feature. Relevance AI is a platform for building specialised agents and workforces, so the design, testing and upkeep sit with your team, and its pricing counts Actions for each tool run plus Vendor Credits for the model unless you bring your own keys. Businesses whose main need is answering customers on the channels customers use often want something ready-made. Others want a different builder, with a larger app catalogue, a visual canvas, a free plan or the option to self-host.

How is Bold Agent Kit different from Relevance AI?

Relevance AI is a place to build: specialised agents, the tools they call, their triggers and the workforces that link them, billed in Actions and Vendor Credits. Bold Agent Kit is a ready-made sales and service agent: you give it your material and instructions, and it answers customers on fifteen channels, books real calendar slots and follows up until they book, buy or opt out, for $25 a month for the account on your own AI key. Our Bold Agent Kit vs Relevance AI comparison page sets the two side by side in full.

Does Bold Agent Kit connect to Relevance AI?

No. There is no Relevance AI integration in Bold Agent Kit, and nothing passes between the two. Bold Agent Kit connects directly to the channels it works on, your mailboxes, nine SMS carriers, Twilio, the website widget and eleven DM platforms, and to eighteen CRMs, calendars and stores, including HubSpot, GoHighLevel, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Google Calendar, Calendly, Stripe and Shopify. If you keep Relevance AI for internal or B2B research work, run the two side by side, each with its own records.

Is there a free Relevance AI alternative?

Three of the tools on this list have a way to start without paying. Zapier has a free plan with 100 tasks a month and two-step Zaps. Make has a free plan with up to 1,000 credits a month. n8n's Community Edition is free to self-host on your own server, and its cloud plans start with a free trial. Each is a general builder, so the customer side is yours to assemble. Bold Agent Kit is not free, but it has a 7-day free trial and then costs $25 a month for the whole account.

Can I bring my own AI key to these alternatives?

Several of them allow it, and what it saves differs. Relevance AI lets you bring your own keys to skip Vendor Credits, while Actions are still counted per tool run. Make runs its AI agents on its own provider or on your own key. Voiceflow lets you choose a provider or bring your own model. In Bold Agent Kit every agent runs on your own key with one of sixteen providers, or on a model you host behind an OpenAI-compatible endpoint, billed by your provider at cost, and nothing else is metered.

Is there an alternative to Relevance AI's sales agent?

It depends on where your leads come from. Relevance AI's Bosh is presented as an AI BDR that researches prospects, handles replies over email and LinkedIn and schedules meetings, which fits B2B prospecting. If your leads arrive inbound, on the website chat, a text, a call or a social DM, Bold Agent Kit answers them on those channels, handles objections from your Q&A pairs and books real slots in your calendar. For follow-up it runs campaigns of email, text and call steps on your own list, and stops when the person replies, books or opts out.

How long does it take to switch from Relevance AI?

For the customer side, usually an afternoon, because nothing has to be rebuilt as tools or workflows. What you taught your Relevance AI agents moves across as material: documents in PDF or Word, answers as Q&A pairs, prices and hours as data points, and the pages of your site the agent may link to, followed by a set of written instructions. Connect the channels and a calendar, switch auto-reply on for one channel and watch the inbox. Nothing is imported automatically, and you can keep Relevance AI running for other work.
