The best ElevenAgents alternatives
and who each one is built for.

The best ElevenAgents alternatives for teams that came to ElevenLabs for the voice and want something different around it: another way to pay, less to build, or one agent on every channel. Here are six options, including three ways to keep an ElevenLabs voice, with who each one suits and how each one charges.

Every channel wired into one agent and out to the tools behind it: email, SMS, phone, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Slack, Discord, X, Reddit, Bluesky, website chat, campaign sequences and follow-ups on one side; HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Calendly, HubSpot Meetings, Zoho Bookings, Acuity Scheduling, Cal.com, Square Appointments, Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace on the other.

Why people look beyond ElevenAgents

ElevenAgents is ElevenLabs' platform for conversational agents, and the company's conversational AI page now presents the product under that name. Its site describes configuring, deploying and monitoring agents in more than 70 languages across telephony, web, mobile, WhatsApp, SMS, email and chat. You set the voice, language, knowledge base, system prompt and workflows, then connect tools. The docs add a visual workflow builder, SDKs, SIP trunking, a native Twilio integration, batch calling, and system tools that transfer a call to a phone number, a SIP address or another agent.

Most people reach ElevenAgents from ElevenLabs itself. They already use its voices, or cloned one, and the agents platform is the obvious next step. The reasons they look further tend to come later, once the first agent is running. It is a platform to build on, so the business still assembles the prompt, the booking tool, the CRM connection and the follow-up, and keeps them working. And the bill arrives in layers: a plan with included minutes, extra minutes by the minute, burst pricing above the concurrency limit, and the language model and telephony billed on top.

For anyone attached to a particular voice, the useful news is that leaving ElevenAgents does not have to mean leaving ElevenLabs. Bold Agent Kit speaks with ElevenLabs voices, or with your own ElevenLabs library on your own key, including a voice you cloned. Vapi and Retell AI both list ElevenLabs among their voice providers. So the choice of platform can be made on the other questions: who builds the agent, how the bill is put together, and which channels your customers actually use.

This page ranks six options, Bold Agent Kit first, and gives each one's best use, pricing model and channels, taken from its own website on the date shown under the summary table. Each entry says when to choose it, and the verdict says plainly when ElevenAgents itself is the better answer.

Four reasons people move off ElevenAgents

None of these is a fault in ElevenAgents. It is a flexible platform, priced by usage, and each reason below follows from that.

01

It is a platform, so somebody builds the agent

You configure the voice, language, knowledge base, system prompt and workflows, then connect the tools the agent calls, with SDKs and webhook tools for developers. Its site says a first agent needs no engineering, and that is fair. A receptionist that runs a real business line also needs its booking tool, its CRM connection, its edge cases and someone to keep them current, and businesses without that person tend to look for a finished agent or a receptionist product.

02

The bill arrives in layers

At the time of writing, paid plans start at $6 a month, each with included minutes and a concurrency limit. Beyond that, extra minutes are charged by the minute, burst pricing applies above the concurrency limit at double the rate, text messages are charged each, and the language model and any telephony are billed separately on top. That is transparent. It also means the total moves with call length, model choice and the busiest hour, and some owners would rather have one line on the software bill.

03

Follow-up is a separate project

The docs describe batch calling, triggered programmatically, for outbound work. A lead who does not answer usually needs a text on day 2 and an email on day 4, with everything stopping the moment they reply or book. A sequence across email, text and calls, with stop rules that apply to every channel at once, is a different kind of tool, and building one around an agents platform is a second project on top of the first.

04

The voice is the draw, and it travels

Many teams chose ElevenAgents for ElevenLabs' voices. Those voices are available elsewhere too: Bold Agent Kit speaks with ElevenLabs voices, or from your own ElevenLabs library on your own key, cloned voices included, and Vapi and Retell AI list ElevenLabs among their voice providers. Once the voice stops being the deciding factor, the build and the pricing model decide, and that is where the alternatives differ most.

What to look for in an ElevenAgents alternative

Three things decide it for most teams. Settle them in this order and the list narrows quickly.

01 / Voice

Can you keep the voice you chose

If you cloned a voice or picked one from the ElevenLabs library, check whether the alternative speaks with ElevenLabs voices, and whether it does so on your own ElevenLabs account, so the clone and the library stay yours and the voice usage is billed to you. Check transcription while you are there, and the languages it supports if your callers do not all speak English.

02 / Build

How much is left for you to assemble

A platform leaves the prompt, the workflows, the tools, the booking and the upkeep to you, and gives you room to build almost anything. A finished agent arrives with booking, CRM reads, an inbox and follow-up already built, and gives you less to build and less to maintain. Neither is better in the abstract. Match it to who will own the agent once it is live, and how much of their week they can give it.

03 / Bill

How many lines are on the bill

Plan fee, included minutes, per-minute overage, concurrency, the model, the voice, telephony and phone numbers. Write them down for your busiest month. Some tools include the model in one per-minute rate, some pass it through at cost, and some let you bring your own key and pay the provider directly. The right one is the one whose bill you can predict before the month starts.

The best ElevenAgents alternatives, ranked

Six options, Bold Agent Kit first. The rest are ordered by fit for the typical ElevenAgents user, who came to ElevenLabs for the voice and builds the agent themselves: first the platforms that list ElevenLabs among their voice providers, then a platform built for customer experience teams, then the two enterprise voice platforms sold on contracts or platform fees.

We make Bold Agent Kit, which is why it is first on this list. Every other entry is described from its own website, including when it is the better choice.

01 / Best for keeping your ElevenLabs voice on a finished agent for every channel

Bold Agent Kit

Bold Agent Kit is the agent already built. You do not assemble it from a prompt, tools and workflows; you brief it from a knowledge base, the way you would brief a new member of staff: documents, Q&A pairs, prices and hours as data points, the pages of your site it may link to, and instructions for how to greet people and when to fetch you. It answers and places calls on your own Twilio number, with separate switches for answering and dialling, hears and speaks in real time on the fastest model your provider offers, and transcribes with Google, or Deepgram on your own key.

The voice can stay the one you chose. It speaks with voices from Google, Amazon Polly or ElevenLabs, and with your own ElevenLabs or Fish Audio key it uses your own voice library, including a voice you recorded in the browser and cloned. Around that voice is the rest of the job: texts on the same number, email from your own mailboxes, a chat widget on your site and eleven DM platforms, all from one knowledge base; real open slots booked into one of eight calendars; HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Jobber, Housecall Pro or ServiceTitan read before it answers; and campaigns of email, text and call steps that stop on a reply, a booking or an opt-out. It is $25 a month or $200 a year for the account, with unlimited agents, on your own AI key with one of sixteen providers, and there is no charge per minute, per call, per message or per seat from us.

Choose it if you want a business phone answered, booked and followed up in the voice you already use, without building the agent around it. Stay with a platform if you need live call transfer, which ElevenAgents has and Bold Agent Kit does not, or if you are building voice into your own product, which is what a platform is for.

02 / Best for developers who want ElevenLabs voices with every other provider open

Vapi

Vapi is a platform for building, deploying and improving voice agents, written for builders from individual developers to large enterprises. It is API-native, with a dashboard for configuration and monitoring, and you configure everything from the voice and the conversation flow to telephony. For an ElevenAgents user the relevant line is its provider list: ElevenLabs is there among the voice options, next to Deepgram and others for speech, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini and Groq for models, and Twilio and Telnyx for telephony, with Salesforce, HubSpot and Google Calendar among the business tools.

The pricing separates Vapi's own charge from everyone else's. On the Build plan, hosting is $0.05 a minute for calls and $0.005 a message for chat and SMS at the time of writing, ten concurrent lines are included, and each extra line is charged by the month. Speech and model costs are passed on at cost, or nothing if you bring your own API key. The Scale plan is an annual contract with a platform fee, committed volume and volume-based rates.

Choose Vapi if you have developers and want to keep the ElevenLabs voice while choosing every other piece of the stack yourself, driven through an API. If you moved to ElevenAgents to avoid code in the first place, a finished agent or a visual builder will suit you better.

03 / Best for a visual call builder with ElevenLabs among the voices

Retell AI

Retell AI is a voice agent platform for automating phone conversations. Its site describes a no-code visual builder where you design each step of a conversation on a drag-and-drop canvas, with APIs and SDKs for programmatic control. Agents take inbound and outbound calls, SMS and web or in-app chat, read context from CRMs, calendars and knowledge bases before and during a call and write outcomes back, and can brief a human agent and confirm they are ready before connecting the caller.

Its pricing page lists ElevenLabs voices among its text-to-speech options, along with Retell's own voices, Cartesia, OpenAI, MiniMax and Fish. Pricing is pay as you go with no commitment and $10 in free credits. At the time of writing, published voice agent rates start at $0.07 a minute and run to $0.31, depending on the model, voice and telephony, with 20 concurrent calls included and more charged monthly. Numbers can be Retell's, or your own over SIP trunking, Twilio or Vonage.

Choose Retell AI if you like building on a canvas, want ElevenLabs voices available, and are content to pay by the minute with every component priced in the rate. It is the closest of these to ElevenAgents' own shape, with a different way of building flows and a different pricing model.

04 / Best for customer experience teams running one agent across chat and voice

Voiceflow

Voiceflow is an AI agent platform for customer experience teams: support leaders, conversation designers and engineers at companies handling customer conversations at scale. Its site describes one agent running across web, app, WhatsApp, SMS and voice at once, built by balancing agentic playbooks with deterministic workflows under the agent's global instructions and guardrails, with visual workflow design alongside code and an observability suite that uses LLM-powered evaluations.

For an ElevenAgents user, the difference is the centre of gravity: a platform organised around the support team and its conversations rather than around the voice. You choose from the major LLM providers or bring your own model, and it connects to Salesforce, Shopify, Zendesk, Airtable, HubSpot, Google Sheets and Make. Its pricing page publishes no figures. It describes transparent, usage-based billing and a free trial with no credit card required, and asks businesses to book a demo or request pricing.

Choose Voiceflow if you run a support or CX team, the chat widget and messaging matter as much as the phone, and you want conversation designers and engineers working in one tool with evaluations on top. For a small business that wants its phone answered this week, it is more platform than the job needs.

05 / Best for contact centres that want a vendor to deploy with them

Synthflow

Synthflow describes itself as an enterprise-ready voice AI platform for automated phone calls, with in-house telephony and a deployment framework it calls BELL: build, evaluate, launch, learn. Teams design agents in a visual Flow Designer, connect through their own carriers or SIP trunks if they prefer, and link over 200 integrations spanning CRMs, calendars, contact-centre platforms and data tools, with HubSpot, Salesforce, Cal.com, GoHighLevel, Genesys, Avaya, Cisco and RingCentral among those it names. Its docs cover warm and cold transfers to phone numbers and SIP destinations.

It is bought differently from ElevenAgents. At the time of writing, its pricing page lists enterprise contracts that start at $30,000 a year, scoped around call volume, concurrency, telephony, integrations, security and launch support, with implementation, onboarding, testing and training included. Its documentation also covers agency subaccounts.

Choose Synthflow if you run a contact centre, a BPO or an enterprise phone operation and want a vendor that owns telephony and deploys with you, rather than a self-serve plan you build on alone. For a team that liked ElevenAgents' free plan and monthly tiers, it is a different kind of purchase.

06 / Best for regulated enterprises that want the whole stack on one infrastructure

Bland AI

Bland describes itself as an enterprise voice AI platform for phone agents, for regulated industries including healthcare, insurance, financial services and logistics. Where ElevenAgents lets you pick the language model and bring your own, Bland takes the opposite approach: its site says it runs entirely on its own infrastructure, with models made for phone calls and data that does not go through third parties. One agent can work across voice, SMS, iMessage and web chat with shared memory, and its Norm tool is described as building production-ready agents without prior experience.

That shows in the pricing. Calls are charged per minute with the model, speech and voice included and no token charges. At the time of writing, the Start plan has no platform fee, 10 concurrent calls and 100 calls a day; the Build plan is $299 a month with 50 concurrent calls and 2,000 calls a day; enterprise is contracted to volume, with on-premises or VPC deployment and data residency available. Transfers are charged per minute on every plan, and it connects to Twilio, Salesforce, HubSpot and Slack among others.

Choose Bland AI if data handling decides the purchase and you would rather have one vendor run the model, speech and voice together than assemble them yourself. If a particular ElevenLabs voice is the reason you are here, check what voices it offers before you move.

For comparison, ElevenAgents has a free plan with 15 minutes and, at the time of writing, paid plans from $6 a month with included minutes, with extra minutes, burst minutes, the language model and telephony billed on top. Tools that bill per minute cost more in a busy month; a flat plan does not. Model, voice and carrier costs sit inside some of these prices and outside others, so compare the whole bill for your busiest month rather than the headline rate.

We checked each tool’s public website on 11 September 2026 for this page. Plans and features change, so check each vendor’s own site for the current detail. Product names are trademarks of their owners, and Bold Agent Kit is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

Which ElevenAgents alternative should you choose?

If you came to ElevenLabs for the voice, and what you need is a business phone answered, bookings made and customers followed up, Bold Agent Kit keeps the voice and removes the build: your own ElevenLabs key, cloned voice included, one agent on fifteen channels, $25 a month for the account, with nothing per minute from us.

If you are building and want to keep building, choose by how you like to work. Vapi suits developers who want an API and a free hand with every provider, ElevenLabs included. Retell AI suits teams who prefer a visual canvas and a per-minute rate, again with ElevenLabs among the voices. Voiceflow suits customer experience teams whose chat and messaging matter as much as the phone.

For enterprise phone operations, compare Synthflow, sold on scoped contracts with its own telephony and launch support, and Bland AI, which runs the whole stack on its own infrastructure. And ElevenAgents itself remains the right answer when you want ElevenLabs' voices, models and agents in one place, a free plan to start on, and live call transfer built in.

Powered by your own keys

Each agent uses a model on your own API key, in the same way it sends from your own mailbox and your own phone number. Sixteen providers are supported: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, xAI and Mistral; DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, Qwen and MiniMax; Groq, Together, Fireworks and OpenRouter; and Ollama or any other OpenAI-compatible endpoint you host yourself.

Bring your own credentials and you own the whole stack: your model provider, your mailboxes, your carrier, your CRM. We charge for the software and nothing else — no token markup, no metering, no credit packs — so your provider bills you direct at their rates, usually a few dollars a month per agent.

What is the best ElevenAgents alternative?

It depends on what you are building. For a business or agency that wants the phone answered, bookings made and customers followed up by text, email, chat and DM, in the ElevenLabs voice it already uses, Bold Agent Kit fits best: a finished agent on your own ElevenLabs and AI keys, $25 a month for the account. Developers who want an API and every provider open should look at Vapi. Teams who like a visual canvas and per-minute pricing should look at Retell AI. Support teams should look at Voiceflow, and enterprise phone operations at Synthflow and Bland AI.

Why do people switch from ElevenAgents?

Usually for one of three reasons. It is a platform, so the prompt, workflows, tools, booking and upkeep are yours to assemble and maintain, and not every business has someone to own that. The bill has several lines: at the time of writing, paid plans start at $6 a month with included minutes, and extra minutes, burst pricing, the language model and telephony are billed on top. And follow-up across email, text and calls is a separate project. Because ElevenLabs voices are available on other platforms, switching does not have to mean giving up the voice.

How is Bold Agent Kit different from ElevenAgents?

ElevenAgents is a platform for building conversational agents, with ElevenLabs voices, a workflow builder, SDKs, SIP trunking and a transfer-to-number tool, on plans with included minutes and usage billed on top. Bold Agent Kit is a finished agent for businesses and agencies: briefed from a knowledge base, on your own Twilio number, answering calls, texts, email, website chat and eleven DM platforms, booking real calendar slots and running follow-up campaigns, for $25 a month for the account. It can speak in your own ElevenLabs voice on your key. It cannot transfer a live call. The full side-by-side is on our Bold Agent Kit vs ElevenAgents page.

Can I keep my ElevenLabs voice if I leave ElevenAgents?

Yes, on several of these tools. Bold Agent Kit speaks with ElevenLabs voices, and with your own ElevenLabs key it uses your own voice library, including a voice you cloned, so the clone stays in your ElevenLabs account and the voice usage is billed to you there. Vapi lists ElevenLabs among its voice providers, and Retell AI lists ElevenLabs voices among its text-to-speech options. Before you move, note the exact voice you use and its settings, so the new agent sounds the same on its first call as the old one did on its last.

Is ElevenAgents the same as ElevenLabs Conversational AI?

It is the same product line under its current name. ElevenLabs' conversational AI page now presents its agents product as ElevenAgents, and its docs and pricing use that name. If you are searching for alternatives to ElevenLabs Conversational AI or ElevenLabs Agents, this is the page you want. The platform itself covers voice and text agents across telephony, web, mobile, WhatsApp, SMS, email and chat, with a knowledge base, tools, workflows and a choice of language models, priced on ElevenLabs plans with included agent minutes.

How do I move an agent from ElevenAgents to another tool?

Start with what the agent knows: export or copy the system prompt, the knowledge base documents, the workflow branches and a set of real transcripts, and note the voice, the language settings and any tools it calls. On Bold Agent Kit, documents go into the knowledge base, prices and hours become data points, common answers become Q&A pairs, and the prompt becomes the agent's instructions. Paste your ElevenLabs key to keep the voice, connect your Twilio number, ring the new agent yourself, and compare transcripts. Move the traffic only when it answers the way you want.

How does ElevenAgents pricing compare with the alternatives?

Each one charges differently. ElevenAgents has a free plan and, at the time of writing, paid plans from $6 a month with included minutes, with the model and telephony billed on top. Vapi charges a hosting rate per minute and passes provider costs through at cost. Retell AI and Bland AI charge per minute, Retell with the rate built from its components and Bland with the model included. Voiceflow describes usage-based billing without published figures, and Synthflow sells enterprise contracts. Bold Agent Kit is $25 a month for the account, with carrier and AI usage billed to you at cost.

Can an alternative transfer calls to a person the way ElevenAgents can?

Several can. ElevenAgents has a system tool that transfers calls to external phone numbers or SIP addresses. Synthflow documents warm and cold transfers, Retell AI describes agents that brief a human before connecting the caller, and Bland AI prices transfers per minute on every plan. Bold Agent Kit cannot put a live call through, and it has no human receptionists. It takes the caller's name, number and reason, tells them what will happen next, and puts the recording and transcript in your inbox. If live transfer is essential, choose one of the others.
